Questions about flavored coffee and milk...
Hello all, I JUST started the hhcg diet and I had a couple of questions:
1. is flavored coffee allowed? The brewed one? (Not syrup)? I use a keurig and the flavored coffee k-cups... 2. I see some conflicting info about 1 or 2 tbsp of whole milk allowed. Are there any alternatives (fat free half and half for example) that I can use to make my "milk allowance" go farther? I simply can't stomach black coffee.... TIA and looking forward to getting to know all of you |

Yes, it's allowed.
I think strict protocol says 1tlb of milk is allowed. Whole milk has less sugar than fat free. I think you'll also be okay with 2tblspoons of milk per day (if you need to have two cups). One tablespoon is nothing, so I don't think 2 will hurt you. |

Okay Im prob going to get shot out of the water here but I wanted to say that I cheat and do add a little sugar-free liquid creamer. I just absolutely love my coffee and its what gets me through til lunch on P2 but I cant stand it black. And milk just didnt do it for me. Anyway, Im not encouraging anyone to cheat, but it did work for me and didnt seem to affect my losses (I drank tea only for the first week, then slowly added my coffee back in)...

I have a Keurig too and love my coffee!!! I have the flavored coffee all the time. It is not full of sugar, they flavor the coffee another way. Perfectly fine on P2. Enjoy!!
