Has anyone gone 3 weeks between...
rounds 1 and 2? I know the rules say that I need to take a 6-week break and am almost at the end of my third week. I have three weeks to go, but was curious about doing it just this once. I didn't follow the rules exactly on my first round because I went 49 days and this time I'm contemplating 60, but only because I'm using hhcg.
TIA! Last edited by Violet_Dream; 08-19-2011 at 05:21 AM.. |

That's what my plan is. I'm curious what others say about this. I've been pretty stable in P3 and haven't gone out of my window so no CD's for me yet. I plan to load in one week to start R2.

I did 2 loading days, 43 days of P2 and 18 days of P3..am reloading yesterday and today and start back on P2 tomorrow and am doing 43 days(or however many) it takes to lose the next 35lbs. Then start all over again to lose the last 30.

I know your first round was longer than mine but Im definitely planning on going back into P2 after the end of my 3 week P3. I have heard people say that their dr says its okay as long as you do a good P3/P4 when you get to your goal and are done losing. It's critical for maintenance once you get to the point that you are done losing.

The only advice I ever give is to stick with the protocol. That is the only clinic that has 40+ years experience. Others vary the protocol and may get good results too, but for myself, given that I have alot at stake here, and MUST get healthy and keep the weight off, I'm not taking any shortcuts whatsoever. Lots of WOE may get you weight loss, but the stabilization is so critical. So are the breaks in between so your body doesn't get completely worn down in the process. Especially since you had a long P2, a decent break may be needed. Diet fatigue is a real thing for some people.
That's my advice, from my experience and from observations of other experiences as well.

great advice C'Marie--i am doing R2 and protocol is the right way for me, i thought of going a little rogue this round like mixing the veggies, but decided against it---i am hoping for at least 10# this round---i am already half way there and have a week and half to go

Thanks everyone. I decided that tomorrow is my first loading day and I'll start R2 Monday. I didn't have the best P3 and did several CDs, but nevertheless I am ready to go.
I'm thinking of going longer than the last round and hope to have a better P3 the next time. If I feel any fatique, I'll take that as a sign to end the round. |

From personal experience, I say you should follow C'Marie's advice. I know that everyone is different, and some people can jump from round to round with ease, but Dr. S had a good reason for P3 and P4 between rounds of P2.

Thanks everyone. The next round I do, I'll make sure to take a much longer break. I don't plan on jumping from round to round.
