miami-your chicken sounds good!! I will add that to our repetoire. I used to make "chicken parm" all the time (w/o breading) and need to add that back in!
I did a low cal day yesterday, and worked out, and TOM arrived but I am still up +1 from my window . So, today I am eating:coffee, hnh L:small steak 8-10oz I think (grass fed, NY Strip), hand full of grape tomatoes D: small steak (grass fed NY Strip), hand full of grape tomatoes. Does that look right to you guys? I am trying my first steak day and really hope it works. The other CD's haven't been very successful for me (egg and chicken) and the only one that works well so far has been GY. I don't want to keep doing that one (I'm afraid it'll be less effective). So, I'm going for it today. I really would like to be down 2 lbs tomorrow so I am not constantly at the top or over my #$^& window! ![]()

So far breakfast is:
1/2 cup full fat greek yogurt w/walnuts and sf vanilla syrup with cinnamon. Lunch will be salad. I am attending a luncheon and it will be a buffet. I plan just to have salad and bring my own full fat blue cheese dressing. If there is chicken on the buffet, I may add chicken to the salad, with fruit on the side. Dinner - I have some 93/7 ground beef that needs to be cooked. I am not sure yet what I am going to fix. |

About these ham rollups. Are they pre-made, or do you just make them yourself? |

Hi Millenia. No, I make them myself. I like the Boar's Head brand of lunch meat and I just roll them up myself. I also buy their brand of vermont cheddar at the deli counter. It's my go to lunch about 3-4 days a week.

Michelle, it's on Linda Sue's site. If you aren't familiar with it, you SHOULD be--most of her recipes are suitable for P3.

See, I'll stop posting my menu beforehand and will wait until the end of the day. I planned a perfect menu yesterday and it got VERY derailed when my office shut down and I had no access to my lunch. Caused me to gain. So I will wait until tonight to post what I did eat Ugh! |

My stomach knew it was crappy though b/c I just didn't feel clean. I guess it was the salt from fast food burger. I'll take care of that today and try to get it off - hope the weight doesn't stick. |

Well, I made it through my first steak day. I upped dinner's steak to 12oz and that helped a bit. I was down 2.5lbs today, back to LDW+0.6!!
Today's menu has been: coffee, hnh cup of 4% cottage cheese - yum! 2 pieces of cheddar cheese - on the run small bowl of tuscano soup (LS recipe - sausage/spinach soup) 2 servings GY (16 oz!) D: will probably be leftover pork ribs I made the fam last night. Coming in around 1800+ cals for today. Lots of water too! I sometimes have a 0.5lb bounce up the day after a CD. I hope tomorrow I'm still down where I was today, but I'm not counting on it. TOM is nearly through w. me, so maybe there'll be a little drop from that? I don't usually get that lucky! We'll see. I'm prepared to do a GYCD tomorrow. I'm going away Sat-Sun w/ dh and would really like to at least be AT LDW so I can eat a bit more at dinner w/o sweating it! I'll keep you posted. |

Yesterday, I had:
B: 2 eggs, cheese and turkey bacon with coffee Snack: Strawberries and cream Lunch: 2 slices of low carb pizza Another snack: strawberries and 2% FAGE After gym – intense spinning: decaf coffee, one small apple, some dried cherries and one small piece of atkins peanut butter cup Dinner: A tiny piece of steak, 3 pieces of cheese (wasn’t too hungry) This looks like a lot, but it wasn’t as many cals as I usually have (probably 2100). I usually have 2300-2400. I needed more protein yesterday. Today is planned, so I’ll go ahead and post the menu: B: 5 pieces of bacon and coffee Lunch: 2 small slices of linda’s low carb pizza and FAGE 2% Snack: Probably an apple, tuna and coffee (pizzas are not as filling at times) Dinner: Steak and onion soup/salad (going out with coworkers) Lots of water today!! And go away, TOM! |

I look forward to dabbling in some starches. I'm officially in P4, and once I'm back in my window I'm going to add some more starches and see what happens. I have been a LCer for 8 years + and maintain well on it. We'll have to see if the reset will really help me. Even if I can just add more fruit in w/o worry I'll be happy. Made steak for the whole fam tonight. Why not all enjoy? ![]() |

I’m officially in P4 too. Ugh, I don’t want to touch the starches. Wait, I just realized I had corn on the cob yesterday and it did me just fine! Woohoo! Love me some corn. I’m also a LCer for MANY years (almost 7) and it just agrees with my lifetime plan. How'd you make your steak (cut, seasonings, etc)? |
