I’ll post last night’s menu and today’s.
Yesterday at work, I ate almost nothing besides 3 chicken wings for lunch. It's b/c I was paranoid after being told the wings were floured. I figured they weren’t because there was zero flour taste and no crunch, nothing. I guess they weren’t b/c I had a loss this morning. No way I would have a small loss after eating 3 floured chicken wings But then I starved to death and binged on some snacks when I got home. Snacks were: a good portion of lime chili almonds, a small piece of low carb homemade pizza. Then, for dinner, I was pretty full and had about 6oz of homemade cheeseburger casserole. Today: B: strawberries in a bit of cream, and one fage 2% yogurt Snack: maybe 15-20 almonds Lunch: Coworkers and I are going to Chipotle in a few mins, so I’ll have barbacoa, some chicken and steak with cheese and sour cream. Dinner: Not sure |

B: 2 egg omelette w/h&h, smoked salmon, cream cheese and chives
L: Leftover chicken thighs with mixed greens, tomato and ranch dressing S: Lemon truffles... OMG. Probably had waaay too many ![]() D: IDK yet... I was thinking maybe shrimp Thai stir fry for dinner. I could get some cauliflower and make the rice. I have miracle rice I have not tried yet though. I think I'll wait till I'm a bit closer to LDW. Technically I'm supposed to be in P4, but I'm not stable (at all), so I'm hesitant to try them. |

Sweet-you're stabilizing w/ all that almond and coconut flour? I'm jealous!! Enjoy!!
Viola-that sounds yummy! I am one of those rare, unlucky peeps who gain on Coconut oil! I love it, but it doesn't love me!! Sigh. I was starved when I got home I had 2 slices of ham w/ swiss cheese rolled up. Yum! And I'm still coming in around 1400cals for the day? Very unusual! But hopefully it'll help me drop a bit closer to LDW. You guys sound like you're doing well! Millenia-glad your wings didn't do any harm. You're doing great! |

I never tried CO till HCG, and now I love it. I'm having a lot today, though so it'll be interesting what the scale says. I had the truffles and now I'm having riced cauliflower sauteed in CO and shrimp Thai stir fry in CO... I wonder if my % are high enough for it to count as a high fat CD. Do you have to avoid produce for that one? |

What I ate today: B: coffee with heavy cream and vanilla creme flavored stevia drops ![]() L: 2 scrambled eggs with cheese and 3 slices bacon S: bowl sliced strawberries w/ heavy cream D: 3 grilled Ham & cheese roll-ups S: 1oz roasted salted almonds |

@julieboolie
Yes!! I've been eating like that for the past 4+ days. I can't cook so these flours are helpful in making me full!!. I even cheated 3 days ago and still stabilized. I won't cheat again. I think the reason I'm stabilizing is cause I didn't lose weight on P2 for almost 13 days. I got stuck on the same weight . So maybe my body had already stabilized back then...no idea. |

So far just cheddar/dill cheese curds and coffee... lol! I'm not very hungry today. I bought some sf coconut milk so I was thinking of having a smoothie for lunch, and then later have a salad with some leftover chicken thighs. I'm going out to my favorite wine and cheese bar with an old friend, so that'll be dinner part deux.

That pizza looks amazing!!!
I had lots of chicken and beef from Chipotle today with a side of sour cream. Delish! We also went to the movies, so I had some popcorn (terrible) and a coconut Atkins bar. I hope the popcorn doesn't ruin me tomorrow! but this is my first small cheat *ever* on this round.Last edited by Millenia98; 08-20-2011 at 09:11 PM.. |

No the almond flour pancakes are not a recipe from here. I made it using just any normal recipe when making pancakes. Almond flour is like wheat flour when it comes to pancakes. Unlike coconut flour which sucks up all the liquid....almond flour acts the same as wheat flour in my experience. |

I was +1lb above LDW window today so I tried to do a CD. I had GY for 3 meals, then had a 500 cal chicken salad for dinner (from pita jungle-they make the most amazing chicken-marinate and grilled on a wood fire-yum!!). Coming in around 1500 cals and 96g of fat. I hope there is some success to this CD.
Yesterday I enjoyed: B: coffee/hnh, bacon, eggs w/ am chz L: Chicken taco soup, cheese, sour cream D: ceasar salad, bacon wrapped filet mignon, green beans w/ bacon Dessert: froen yogurt made w/ stevia ![]() It was a high sodium, high calorie day, so I wasn't surprised when there was a bump up today. I also worked out yesterday, and will sometimes see a small gain from muscle repair (I wish I was building a LOT of muscle!!). Anyway, I'm hoping tomorrow drops me back in my window so I can eat more freely. I plan to try a CD later in the week even if I'm in my window so I can get a little wiggle room. Maintaining at the top of my window is growing weary!! Have a good night all! |

Today im making a P3/4 friendly "italian" chicken. Chicken tenderloins fried/seared in coconut oil with italian herbs and garlic, then topped with pizza sauce (it's lower in carbs than reg. spaghetti sauce) and whole milk mozzerella, then under the broiler for a couple minutes til cheese melts. With a salad on the side.

B: 2 scrambled eggs w/cheese, 3 slices center cut bacon, coffee w/hnh
S: almonds (I have to stop eating these) L: Boar's head low salt ham rollups with cheddar, celery w/cream cheese, Dannon Carb Control yogurt S: Hard boiled egg D: Taco salad, homemade salsa, cheddar, sour cream, black olives, avocado S: Microwaved apple w/splenda and cinnamon I had two Hillshire Farms Cheddar Wursts last night for dinner with some roasted veggies. I think the salt did me in. I had a 2.2 gain overnight. Still only .4 over my LDW though. Plenty of water for me today.
