I am doing everything the same this round that I have in the last rounds but this time I am hungry, I am hungry in the morning when I wake up, I get to about 11 am I am starving so I have been eating lunch at 11:30 instead of 12. I am drinking lots of water, having a coffee in the morning not sure what is up with this round

Afternoon ladies! Down another .4 so 14.4 pounds all together and this is day 11. I will be in my third week starting Tuesday so I am starting to debate whether I want to keep going or not past the 21 day mark. I weigh 196.8 and I want to at least get into my 180's on this round so we will see what happens in the next week and a half. I can't believe how much weight I have lost so quickly! I am so glad I decided to stick with this, so worth it!

It's funny the way they are so different...have a cup of ff chicken broth, it helped me when I was struggling.

So, quick question. If you were married to a woman who was on a 500 calorie/day diet, would you bring home an ice cream cake and a bag of Doritos?
No? Didn't think so.

Hi P2ers!

Starting R2 VLCD tomorrow -- I've been loading yesterday and today (am now contentedly enjoying some full-fat mint chocolate chip ice cream from TJ's -- yummmmmm) and spent the evening cutting up chicken breast and segmenting beef into my little baggies. Ready to roll!

I need to back up and read the whole thread -- but just saying hello!

Sounds pretty unconscious to me! Have you actually asked him to support you in what you are trying to do and to pay more attention to YOUR needs? It took a while for my husband to "get" what "support me in this" looked like, but now he's on my team and it makes things much easier for me. In the meantime, leave the room if you have to. Food used to "talk" to me and say "Eat me, eat me, eat me" until I did, just to hush it up. Now I don't trigger that way any more, but it took a long time to get there.

Of course you can stay! Just get back on program. You're human and life happens. It's a good lesson in cause and effect and now that you've learned it, put it to good use so you can accomplish what you are trying to do.

Welcome back!

Am up 0.2 this morning, but am not worried about it. After reading someone else's post about cutting back on drops working for most people, I tried it yesterday and it didn't work for me. (Big surprise.) I also was up earlier than usual this morning and drank some water just before getting up, so rather than wait another hour to pee and weigh myself again, I will just log this weight and wait for tomorrow. It will be what it will be. Have a great day, everyone!

I didn't know I could do a correction day on p2. How does that work with like steak and ounces or how many eggs. just enough to equal 500 calories? Thanks for the advice ladies.

Morning all!

R1D1 here -- amazingly, I only gained 1 pound in loading, despite eating a truly unbelievable amount of ice cream, cheesecake, and macadamia nuts. Last night I went to bed truly uncomfortable, and I can't believe I didn't wake up 10 pounds heavier this morning!

Loving seeing all the losses here! So weird, I was so happy to wake up and see my little snack bags of meat defrosting in the fridge! I think it's a purely Pavlovian response -- I spent 40 days in the spring associating little bags of beef and chicken with losing weight pretty much every day, so now I just have to see those bags and my heart sings!

Have a great day, everyone!

Woke up in "virgin" territory this morning. Finally broke out of the 180's and rested this morning at 179 even....I can't even begin to explain how incredible I feel. Second round goal is still 9lbs away and I only have about 10 days left this round so even though that may be a stretch, I'm pretty happy with my results.

Good job to all with the steady loses and if your struggling keep your head up and stick with it!!!

Morning all.

First, an apology. Have been a BAD TEAMMATE!

It feels like the dozens of routines in my life are circling in a blender after someone pushed the "frappe" button. Sigh I haven't been here to support others much, and when I am here, I feel like I'm distracted and hurried. Please forgive me.

Anyway, I am on VLCD 12. I'm down 2 pounds. (2 pounds below my previous set point, before I started this round). And, when I tell you that I am strict protocol, I mean it. Strict. No lotions, creams, nothing but a teaspoon of FAT FREE milk in my coffee. Nuthin'

I'm sticking it out for 3 more days, then I need to stop because I have a work trip coming up.

I'm close to goal. I am comfortable with my weight. I'll just choose to be happy with where I am I suppose. 6 pounds over goal. I can live with it.

Hope everyone has a fabulous Saturday!

If you do an egg day, you can eat as many eggs as you want but that's all you get. If you do a steak day, you can't eat anything all day until dinner and then you can have as big a steak as you want and a tomato. There is also a chicken day option, but I eat so much chicken on this plan that I haven't done it so I don't know the particulars. I think you can eat a whole roasted chicken throughout the day, but you had better check on that.

Scrambled eggs for breakfast, hard boiled eggs for snacks and lunch and more scrambled eggs for dinner suit me just fine!!!!

She is in P2 though, not P3!! I am not sure an egg day would be a good idea in P2... what do you ladies think?

Just wanted to mark my spot and say hey! I am on my first loading day and looking forward to today and tomorrow. I just turned 40 yesterday and have got to get this weight off...can't stand having this large stomach and stick thin legs. I look pregnant and my "baby" is 16! Anyways, I really can use all the encouragement I can get and I know from reading these posts that I will get it in here.

Those are for P3 days, right?? This is a P2 thread......
