![]() It's not like people like us are only going down a size or two. The difference is HUGE! Literally! I am still pulling clothes out of my closet to donate to Goodwill and came across a pair of capri pants in a size 26. Held them up to me and my husband says "two of you could fit into those" and I almost cried!! |

Thanks LB and Raven! I figured it was time to put up a pic that was slightly more recent. The other one is from 2005!
I had to crop the cr@p out of that photo because the cleavage factor was a little too R rated! I still have the girls--they are not FF like they used to be but I'll take a DD and run with it! Oh and LB, I found that they did "perk up" a bit after some time!Holy whoosh this morning--down 1.7! So there's my wiggle room for dinner, wine and dancing with the girlies tonight. Off to treadclimber it, have breakfast and coffee with girlie #3, and finish my errands today so tomorrow can just be a massage/chill day, especially if I stay up too late tonight! Mwuah! Love you gals! Have a great weekend! Last edited by shelbyla; 08-20-2011 at 07:46 AM.. |

Shelby-I agree- you look fabulous!! Great job and enjoy your weekend!!
So happy for all of you stable P3 folks!! You're all doing great!! Amy and Marie-hope you feel better today! That's a bummer! I am at the top of my window today . I came in around 1800 cals, all homemade, and there was a bit of salt in there, but nothing crazy (ham, bacon-a little bit). I am due for TOM soon, so that could be a factor. I really need to hit the gym today. Going out for dinner tonight, already planning my steak .Have a great day all!!

I'm down like 1.5 today. I'm not sure why, but I'll take it
I don't want to accept it too much b/c it might be a fake out (?) LOL. Or maybe my body has finally purged all of the water and alcohol. I ate very P3 yesterday and high cals (probably 2500) with almonds, dairy, an Atkins bar and lots of protein.Either way, we're off to the gym in a bit and I'm going to kick cardio and weight lifting's butt!! |

I'm up .2-- not a big deal. Regular P3 day today. I am doing party prep for my kid's birthday get together with family. I'm making stuff I can eat, with some substitutions... making parmesan/almond crackers to go with the artichoke dip, etc. I'm making him an ice cream cake and making myself a flour-less one... no need to deprive myself!! Probably do a CD on Monday to see if I can get back in my window. Have a good day, everyone!! |

I'm up 2 pounds today and .8 over window! Had the lowcarb pizza yesterday, then could never get full after that. Ended up at 2600 calories. Making the yogurt for a CD tomorrow.
Hope everyone woke up to happier numbers on the scale! |

Well checking in with still in the 163's after yesterday endless Auntie Flo pushed me to 164. I was going to wait until after I was at my goal and into P4 to have the hormone tests done. I was praying that they would become normal. That was my main point of doing the HCG was the reset of my body not that I didn't want/need the weight loss though. My weight has been tied to my hormones my whole life and the meds they have put me on since I was 14. Oh well, the Dr. is going to get me in balance with some natural remedies instead of the toxic chemicals.
Happy Sunday!!!! ![]()

I love where my body has stabilized for the past few days. 2lbs under LDW. I'm the same exact weight as yesterday.
I had that popcorn yesterday, and it didn't seem to affect. By the way, "The Change Up" was a very funny movie. We loved it. |

I am down .4 this morning (still 2.8 above my window). I ate pretty light yesterday: cheese curds, a smoothie, flourless cake batter , and leftover Thai shrimp stir fry over riced cauliflower (sooo keeping that recipe). I had two sugary girlie cocktails last night and a few bites of creme brulee. I am likely dehydrated, so I'll try to water up before the party later today. I am dying to try the flourless cake I made... probably make a glaze with some CO/coco powder/extract. Didn't make the crackers yet, but will do after my coffee so I can eat the artichoke dip!Happy Sunday, everyone! |

Morning girls!!
Paula-I can't eat the LC pizza options. I usually make the LS one, but also tried the cauli one. I gained on them . I know it couldnt' be real weight, but like the CO, and most of LS's casseroles that are cream cheese based, for some reason I can't eat them now. I mourn cream cheese from my diet!! I'll porbably be CD's w. you tomorrow too, unless I can make it happen today.Millenia-WTG!! I'd love to be where you are!! And after your trip to Vegas!! Your body is loving whatever you're doing!! Keep it up! Viola-w/ all that off plan stuff yesterday you're still coming down? That's encouraging!! Have a great time today!! Angel-glad you're back down. Hope TOM straightens out for you! ![]() Cat and Dawn-good luck on your P2's!! I did make it to the gym yesterday! Finallly!! It's been many days!! I got a good HI cardio session, then did some weights. I'm a bit sore today, which I expected, but so glad I went. I really need to settle my schedule down and just go!! I also had a delicious bacon wrapped filet mignon, green beans w/ bacon and ceasar salad for dinner. YUMMY!! Then we found a frozen yogurt place that makes their yogurt w/ stevia!! They were all so yummy!! I had to get some. Couldn't believe it. I don't normally like stevia, so I was surprised and delighted!! All of this dining out and water retention from working out has me up 1lb today, out of my window. I'd like to do a CD, but we'll probably dine out w. friends after church, so that may not work well. I will try to do GY for bfast and probably dinner, may do a burger for lunch and see if that'll help. Sigh. Definitely worth it, and I know the exercise is good for me in the long run, but scale!! |

Julie~ the drinks and creme brulee were definitely not on plan, but the flourless cake is made with splenda and xylitol... not that bad
Thanks, hopefully I will... it's a lot of family on our smallish house. I have a bottle of wine for afterwards, just in case... ![]() Stevia flavored frozen yogurt?! yum!! |

Guys, it was the deep dish cream cheese one. I have and do both varieties and both cause a gain for me the next day, though usually just a small bump up due to sodium.
BUT I had several lowcarb tortillas yesterday and probably had the quick gain due to bumping out of ketosis (or too much fiber) and the sodium from the cheese. I just kept eating and eating and couldn't get full. Maybe a TOM thing too? Who knows! Today I feel fine and in control. I may even be back in my window tomorrow. Just eating clean today and will see where it takes me as I'm just too unwilling to CD on the weekend. I'm not writing off the pizza for sure...but I know me, and it has to be a once a week or so treat, because it doesn't fill me up the way a meat & veg meal does.

.Angel-30 years? I've got hormonal issues, mostly during my child bearing years-miscarraiges etc., but haven't done much about it. I haven't found any good Dr's. Glad you have a good one. Hope they help!! I've had a serving of GY so far today. We didn't go out for lunch, which was a break (weight loss wise). Dh wants to go out for dinner, so I think I'll try a modified CD. GY all day, then we'll see about dinner. Off to Kohls and the mall. Got some coupons to use up . |

I was at the tippy-top of my ALIW yesterday and today and with the heat I think it's swelling - I'm sitting here in my living room with the a/c on and I'm so hot I have sweat on my brow. All the veins in my hands and feet are standing straight up and my sandals and rings are tight. I am trying to down the water today with lemon and hope for a *whoosh* tomorrow.
I went to the Portland Peeps (hcg) meetup yesterday, and met a few other ladies and one gent who had done hcg. It was fun and a good time.

After three hours, everyone is gone. It went well, and everyone raved about the food. My sf flourless cake was delish & everyone said the ice cream cake was good. I made almond flour crackers and almond flour/parmesan crackers that turned out pretty tasty (got less crispy in the tupperware though)! There was some honey on the salad (my new favorite!) & there was a bit of pineapple juice in the punch, but otherwise, it was all P3 friendly.
I bought chicken thighs, so I'm set for a CD tomorrow. I want to get within my window (2.8 above this am) and I'm pretty sure I'll be up tomorrow, just from the sheer # of different foods I had today. Maybe not... we'll see. C'Marie~ Glad you have fun at the meet up! It is HOT here today. Sleepy~ Hope your egg day works for ya! |

Down 1.3 lbs this morning from GY CD. When I weighed first I was the same as yesterday with no loss. However, after 30 minutes on the treadmill and a visit from bernice I was down 1.3. I'll take it. It puts me right at the edge of my window but I fear I will be back above my window tomorrow. I guess we'll see tomorrow.

I have found that there aren't hardly any drs that even care about solving the issues except giving the "cookie cutter solution" .... pills. Thank you so much for the well wishes!!! Yes 30 years, since Auntie Flo first started visiting at 13 years old. She would come and visit for months without leaving I have had breaks with meds working short term and then turning against me with a vengance. Three years ago they figured out that I have been overdosed my whole life on estrogen to regulate it. It was the progestrone that was lacking from the start. Depo injections almost killed me when I had an allergic reaction and rapid weight gain. Then they decided that it was the additive that gave me the reaction and put me on straight provera three years ago. Early this year, that quit working and Auntie Flo was staying plus weight coming on fast again. That is when I decided to research and found HCG and an amazing Dr. about an hour away to help me with it and an herbal remedy for the hormones after the reset if needed. I was praying that the reset would fix it. After a month now with Auntie Flo here. I am going to have the hormone blood tests to get his help. He works directly with a pharm company who customs makes the meds for each person. I am that this is the end of the road for Auntie Flo's unwelcomed extended stays!!! The life change would be a blessing at this point but at 43 I am not even having the signs of it yet. ![]() |
