P3D11, TOM decided to show up 8 days early. I don't know if it's due to hHCG, rapid weight loss, or a combo of both, because I have been regular all of my adult life, and suddenly it was 8 days early this month, 4 days early last month, 1 day early the month before. Oh well, not complaining too much because apparently I have had either no weight gain from it, or I have, and my window is just that much bigger once TOM leaves!

I am only .2 lb up from LDW.

I feel ya! Auntie Flo has been visiting for two weeks now with peek-a-boo for some of it, but extremely visiting now for a week. I am the opposite. I have been irregular my whole life. I did HCG to reset and detox to try and control her. I am holding out on the herbal creams until I am in P4 for sixty days and praying that she knows her boundaries by then. Until then, I am tolerating the ol' bitty I hope yours is just a temp situation.

Yay!!

For those of you who remember that I am also using a body shaper, I wanted to report that I just had to buy another one. These babies are not cheap but worth every penny IMO. I started out having to buy a 3X in Squeem but the one I just got yesterday is a LARGE and fits me very well. From a 3X to a LARGE in only 3 months!!

So now I have a few that I can't use and need to get rid of. If anyone is interested in them - gently worn and clean of course - PM me. I have a Squeem full shaper (to the thighs) in a 3X (fits 18-20) and a Flakisima vest in a 2X (also fits 18-20).

Oh, another question.....In P3 (after the first 3 500 calorie days) is it permissable within Protocol to eat varieties of vegetables in addition to adding protein? Anybody???

I was as regular as could be before hcg. I really think it's the hcg messing w/ TOM. Mine is still early each month and I'm beginning to think it may always be so!! Hopefully yours settles down and goes back to normal for you.

Yep, variety of low sugar/low starch veggies - mix away! You're very controlled, I wish you good success in P3!

I'm back to the edge of my window, which is a good start. I'm not eating out all week and cooked up lots of great LC options yesterday so I can grab quick meals still on plan and hope to get down closer to my LDw this week. There's no reason my body isn't lower on the scale. I haven't even worked out in nearly a week, so no retention or muslce to account for. I wont' make the gym again today so hoping for tomorrow. Eating clean P3 today, and can't wait!! All that cooking while on a GYCD was tough yesterday!!

I've got:
chicken salad
stuffed peppers
twice baked cauliflower
taco beef
shredded chicken (not sure what I'll make from that, leaning toward a soup or chili)
spicy spinach, GB, cheese casserole (loosely based on a LS recipe). That's my first choice today, since it smelled so good and the little taste I took while baking it was delicious!!
I also made little indiv. LC cheesecakes yesterday w/ an almond crust (dd is doing Atkins) and may allow myself one later if I am doing well. We'll see about that one. Trying to whittle back down a bit and not sure that'll get me where I want to go. Cream cheese usually makes me gain for some reason.

Hope we all have a successful week!!

I checked into the licensing stuff a couple years ago. I actually work for a program w/in our health dept. so I got a lot of hypothetical questions answered. It's really hard in CA; virtually impossible to have an at-home baking biz...but we are in the country, outside city/residential limits so we have different zoning regulations, and my space would not lead directly into the house and would have all the health-dept kitchen regulations. The only questionnable thing would be a bathroom...we have one in the house off of our garage (mud room), so the guy from HD said that would probably suffice, as long as I didn't have any employees, and I was a delivery service only and had the kitchen solely to prepare goods not to have any customers. Basically as a catering biz would be. I said no problem! I would have to do wedding tastings/consults off-site and figure out how to deliver cakes any given week. My DH works seasonally, sometimes 16-hr days for weeks at a time, so I don't always have childcare at the drop of a hat. I used to have the MIL, but she's retired now and they travel off and on.

...anyway...that's my story I am so done w/ my job. I sit around thinking of all the stuff I want/could be doing at home!

I am still 1 lb. above my window...doing a CD today although I'm on the edge of AF and feeling the bloat in my fingers...I can tell when my rings don't swirl around very easily!

It's kind of creepy how you post things that are relative to me, all the time, lol. (I'm hoping the TOM thing doesn't become relative, but this was just weird.)

Before I started hcg, I was a regular wearer of body shapers if I had somewhere to go. I usually wore the kind that looked like the middle of a corset (no bra part, no undies part, just the long thing in the middle that goes from under your bra down to your upper thigh.)

Then, one of those daily deal sites had Spanx on sale, and I had a referral credit, so I bought 2 of the XL criss-cross camis, to wear everyday. I had never tried Spanx, but had always heard good things. It didn't look as heavy-duty as the waist-cincher type of shaper that I normally wore, but it was 'silky' and had no eye/hook things - and my clothes tend to stick to those, or to me lol, which drives me mad. They definitely helped with that. I was sold.

And now they don't fit. I quit wearing them a couple weeks ago, and I totally miss them. But every time I wore them, I had to keep pulling them down because they were too loose and wouldn't stay - annoying. So - now I'm in the market for some smaller ones, but I don't want to fork out so much money just yet, lol. I was walking through the mall the other day and saw some, and they sell for $50+ each! I've heard the ones from Target are good, too, and they're cheaper, so I need to go try those. I really like the cami style now (for every day) and I've been feeling pretty jiggly without them. Smaller, but still jiggly. I might be addicted.

Here's to a great day for everyone!

My lean day yesterday went out the window at dinnertime when my MIL took us out for coconut shrimp
Yes, I could've had a salad but I didn't want to - so I'm doing a lean day today! Can't let it get out of control!!!!

(It was yummy and cured that urge for awhile - been at least 8 months since I've had any)

Hello, everyone! I indulged in some wine this weekend... ok, a lot of wine. I was already above my window (may be adjusting it to 173), then I went waaaaaay over. Did a steak and cheese day yesterday (minus the eggs, because I forgot), and netted a 2.6 loss. I'm eating P3 today again plus lots of water and hopefully I'll drop down some more. Probably doing another CD on Wednesday. I'm mad that I hit snooze a few too many times and missed my run this am... maybe I'll stream a Netflix workout instead.

Kelli I've done a few "hamburger" days - sometimes in two meals, sometimes in one like a steak day. That and a tomato and you're golden! I lost great on it - I get the higher end hamburger that's actually ground sirloin and I personally don't see the difference. I have tmj so sometimes steak is really really too hard for me to chew. I had to resort to trying that the the first time when all I had to eat all day was the steak on a steak day and hubby grilled it too far gone and I literally couldn't chew it, so I quickly defrosted and cooked some hamburger and held my breath. It worked!

Woohoo! I'm almost afraid to post this but my steak day yesterday did so well for me today!

After Vegas, it looks like I got rid of the yuckiness. I'm down 3-5lbs from yesterday's steak day- another huge steak day loss. I think a lot of it was water between the heels, the heat, being dehydrated. But still, I had definitely gained more than water. So now, I'm back to being right at the bottom of my window. WOO!!

I'm PRAYING for no bounce back b/c I'm keeping it super clean today. No strange/new foods.

Kelli - I've done something similar (burger day) and it did not provide as good of a return as steak.

No, do not add cheese or bacon. Just drink coffee all day and then have straight hamburger meat for dinner with nothing on it. Then a tomato or apple afterwards. And keep drinking water.

Good for you! I always swell up when I travel. Keep it LEAN today (lotsa veggies, lotsa protein, one fruit - that's my lean day, for example) and you'll probably be fine. Keep up the water intake also, and lowish on salt.

Got it. Thank you!

I think I'll make a lean steak tonight and have a turkey burger patty for lunch. No more cheese. I did have cheese with eggs this morning, though. Hope it doesn't hurt.

You're all doing great!! I'm enjoying eating again today!! Cd's are harder mentally for me as I love eating!!

I'm still out of my window, but I really don't want to do another CD tomorrow. We'll see if I can wiggle down a bit more today, and then hope clean eating will get me lower. I love low-carb and am eating classic Atkins today. Hopefully my body will just go back where it belongs w/o any additional deprivation. I am so over depriving myself of food!!

On a happy note, I was selected by the Atkins folks to have my weight loss journey/story featured on Atkins.com. I submitted it a few months ago for their success story superstar contest. I'm really excited. Atkins has completely changed my whole life, and my family's, and I'm happy to share my story with others. Hopefully it'll inspire someone else to try it!!

Had lunch at my desk - rotisserie chicken and greek yogurt with sliced strawberries. Where has greek yogurt been my whole life? Good gosh but it's delish!

My co-worker says to me from over the cube wall, "Are you eating or having sex? All that moaning and groaning!"

I wish I was moaning and groaning at my desk because I am eating something yummy. Unfortunately it's because I have been staring a spreadsheet for so long that it's making my eyes bleed!!!!! Gah!

I was up a little more today (1.2? 1.4? something like that...) but this is probably because I 1) forgot my morning meds yesterday, 2) did yoga last night and I'm sore, 3) stayed up too late and didn't get a decent night of sleep for the second day in a row, or 4) two day rebound from wheat on Sunday. Also still spotting from this dang IUD. Boo...talk about never-ending TOM! Eating clean again today and I WILL get a good night's sleep tonight if I have to go to bed at 7:30pm! Tired cranky and sick of doing a job that isn't my responsibility!!!!

Still only 1.1 above my window so that's good at least. I think a CD right now would send me over the edge!

LOL! I can so relate. I never tried Greek Yogurt until my first P3, and I was like, "Where have you been all my life?!"

Trying to eat clean-ish today, hoping to drop a few more #s off. My fingers are still swollen despite a 2.6# loss yesterday!!

B: 2 eggs, scrambled, 2 slices low-sodium bacon, fresh salsa, coffee w/h&h
L: Chicken sauteed in EV coconut oil & homemade ranch seasoning, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, and ranch dressing
D: Tilapia & asparagus?
Dessert: Strawberry sorbet from the food processor w/a little h&h in

I am also so in love with Greek yogurt thanks to all the fans on here! I love the Cabot full fat w raspberries or blackberries mixed in and sweetened up a little w splenda or stevia. (i cant always buy stevia)
I have had a "blah" day today---my 3 yr old woke the entire family up this morning @ 5:30am--i went tobed @ 2am--i couldnt fall asleep...and ive been up ever since. It was my intention to do a correction day today and i just got too hungry and ate a chicken salad w blue cheese and a lil shredded cheese on top. I also had some almonds. Im going to try Shelby's "chicken thigh cd" --tommorrow. I know im a day late but i am just so exhausted. Of course the lil ones took a nap so they are bouncing off the walls--but no nap for Mommy. *whew*

I have the Assets (the Spanx brand that is sold at Target for less money than Spanx) and love them. I suggest you try them on and get some. I also have bought the ones I can find at Walmart. I forgot the name brand, but something like "Self expressions". They are even cheaper than the Assets and I love them But then again I have no boobs, so mine fit everything just fine. Even at my current weight I am wearing them because my love handles are muffin toppy Just thought I would let you know what I have found, tried and loved. I have an addiction to them as I have them in all colors they come in.

My DD has one from Walmart it's soft and you wear your own bra with it, it has straps but the front comes below the bra. Even though she lost her tummy doing hhcg she still wears it. I think it's almost like a security thing for her. We were in a serious car accident almost 5 years ago -dd was 9 and had to have an emergency bowel resection. her incision was from breastbone to pubic bone. Being a kid none of us thought about making her build those stomach muscles back up. It wasn't unti 3 years later and my previously skinny kid had gained a proportionately large belly-- We tried the gym and special excersice but the bit of fat had to go before she could see any result. I did a lot of research on hhcg and agreed to let her try it with us. She had been picked on badly by some family members on her dad's side of the family, and was so self conscious it made my heart break. Dr. just gave her a giant thumbs up on her new shape but she still feels like she needs the shaper (even though it's loose) In time I guess she'll give it up.
