Picnic ideas?
I am going to a church picnic on Sunday. I will be bringing my food and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what to eat?!
There is only a grill for heating things and I really don't want to be grilling my little bunless hamburger over there. ![]() Any suggestions?! ![]() |

How about Waldorf Chicken Salad? Toss together 1 chopped apple, a cup of chopped celery, your 100 g. of cooked chicken and a zippy dressing of dijon mustard, cider vinegar, sweetener and salt and pepper. (I also throw in a cup of finely shredded iceberg lettuce. I guess that's "mixing" vegetables, but in my book, iceberg isn't really even a food...)
Delicious! |

Do you eat seafood? Fish is low in calories so you could have a normal looking portion on the grill. Add some grilled asparagus and you can drizzle fresh lemon over both when they're done.
