Btw, I drink close to 2 GALLONS of water per day and I don't have issues with it. (I think it's because that's about ALL I drink.) I drink as much during my rounds and lost just fine. YMMV

I didn't suggest to up your protein. I have always heard people suggest changing your dose of hcg first if you are hungry since we all eat on plan, according to Dr Simeon's rules and have done fine with that. I hope you bring it back down to 3.5 oz at lunch and dinner. I suggested changing your dose of hcg before starting to add food to your diet. I hope you get this sorted out!!

It wasn't you. it was others on another thread. I put my dose down slightly and feel great today actually and my ketosticks are darker today. I have I can just lose the weight I gained yesterday today. all I had was .25g more. what a difference. This is R1PH2 and I have stuck 100% to protocol. well yesterday actually I used a buillion fish cube in my soup. Only half thinking it might be ok but I knew it wasn't the 2nd I tasted it and it was flavourful and delicious. Boy was it ever yummy. I just mixed it with 125 grams of fish and 150 g of asparagus and it was so good - figures all the good stuff is no good. when I eat tomatoes I noticed I only lose .2 on those days. NO MORE TOMATOES and no more hlf cubes of Buillion. I'll try the organic low sodium broths I have heard others are on. had great losses on cabbage though.

That is terrific!!! I am glad you lowered your dose. Now you don't have to adjust your protein amounts. Sometimes blips up occur, with no clear reason to them. So just continue on the plan you are on and go from there. I do not see a loss every day and neither should anyone on this plan expect it. Stalls are bound to happen. Dr. Simeon's even speaks about them in his manuscript Pounds & Inches. He has a way to get around them when they occur. So he laid out what might happen on plan so you don't freak out. I do well with cabbage too just remember that we all are sensitive to different foods, so while I do well with cabbage--and it seems you do too--someone else will be in here saying I stall every time I eat cabbage My advice---just keep on keeping on.

i am so jealous you can eat the cabbage! i love cabbage and stalls me every time
yeah the bouillon has sugars MSG and starches in it sadly UGH but you can use spices liberally and make up more flavor and tabasco adds flavor and speeds metabolism i think it was the partial cube more than the extra bit of protein

i am very pleased you feel some better HAPPY LOSING

Y'all are hilarious! I eat my cabbage only at lunch....it holds onto water if I eat it at night.

Just thought I'd share that.

What I find is that my work gets in the way of my P2s. If I eat late at night I will either no lose anything or even gain the next day. When I have my closing shift it is hard to eat on shift so I save it for after. Me eating at 8:30PM = weight gain the very next day, no matter what I eat!! So what I have been doing lately is taking the spinach shake/smoothie.....at least I can drink while on the job LOL. It has been working out great!!!

I was one who suggested more protein, but that was before it was discovered that your dose was off.

I hadn't said anything since, because I assumed that fixing your dose would fix the problem. If you feel great with the lower dose, there is no need to "up your protein" that's only a suggestion if all other things are as they should be and you are still hungry.

Besides that, there are so many factors that affect our day to day losses and gains that if you are going to experiment, you should only try ONE change at a time. You changed your dose, that should be the only change for a few days. If that hadn't worked, then try a different change.

I'm glad you got your dose sorted out. It may take a day or two to get back to your pattern of losing. But also remember, weight loss is not linear. It may bump up and down along the path, but as long as you are overall going in the right direction, It's good!
