ok. zero loss for me today

and i am completely jealous of jens amazing skills to organize her responses!

jen-i am glad you are feeling better. i know in my lit it recommends a 'digestive aid' when transitioning to p3. i ordered some in advance just in case i needed it. i wonder anyone's thoughts/experience??

i do not want to give any advice on p3 as i have zero experience but your ideas of getting your fruit and water make sense.

kimmie-did you measure before you started? im noticing my weight loss has slowed considerably but i am moving in inches. i don't think you are in a stall so early...hang in. i know its tough with all the temptations around, especially when nothing happens on the scale. just try to keep in mind that a cheat will stall you about 3 days (has for me anyways) and its just not worth all your hard work to date!!!

im curious to see how everyone else is doing, happy losses p2ers and p3ers im hoping for stability.

im going to try to organize my stats to post later...i think these last 2 weeks have been quite dismal for losses. i need to see it organized myself to keep the motivation strong. will post inches as well for perspective.

talk at you soon ladies have a great day everyone!

If you like bubbles and don't want to do diet soda...don't forget about Pellegrino. I LOVE it and drink it by the case. It's my "champagne" during times like these. I have the giant bottles and drink straight out of them a lot of the time. I enjoy what that must look like to people in other cars when I'm chugging out of a big green glass bottle...I must look like the Queen of the Winos!

I don't think we can get thet Pellegrino here in Canada I have never seen that but would love to try it out. LaylaI did measure myself and so far nothing, everything is much flatter like my stomach and my face seems thinner..I will measure again tomorrow and see if there are any changes. I know I feel much better and my muffin top is smaller than normal so I guess it's working LOL

That makes three of us. (Edit: Four, counting Layla. Sheesh.) This is my 3rd morning in a row of the same weight down to the tenth of a pound--176.4. And as we all know, I only got the weight to budge by doing an apple day--I'd had basically a full week of no losses the week before, too. I am very, very bummed out this morning....

Can I jump in here?... I see so many ares struggling, stay strong! I just posted this on the Firecracker thread but thought it might give a little hope here too!

I held the same today, okay with that since I had 4lbs the last 2 days, time to catch up.
I'm sorry you are all struggling, it will pass. If it might help anyone, or give you hope, in my 1st round these were my total:

Wk 1 -15.6lbs
Wk 2 - 4 lbs
Wk 2 - 5.8lbs
Wk 4 - 4.2lbs
Wk 5 - .6 ONLY!
Wk 6 - 8.8lbs
last 2 days 2lbs

So you can see every week varied, week 5 was awful, but week 6 was awesome.
I lost 10.8 on my last 9 days. I hit 125 and ran, big mistake. I will stay there a few days before I transition this time.

Keep plugging away, you don't know what's around the corner.
Have a nice day!

Thinks Cali, I think I let it get me, like I said that was first round, then messed it all up, gained it all back, so here I am again. I'm on VLCD29 now, down 23 lbs.

I was stuck for a week and finally lost 4 in the last 2 days, so at 137 now trying to get back to 125. I will do P3 CORRECTLY this time!

Maybe I stumbled across this quote from the wonderful Tennie McCarty yesterday for a reason:

"What makes me think the next bite, the next binge, or a smaller clothes size will be better? Before I look around for MORE today, I will concentrate on loving, appreciating and enjoying what I already have!! Remember...Enough is as good as a feast!"

I think I'm going to step away from the computer and go out and enjoy my blessings today! Hope you can all do the same!

it's raining here today...and considering our weather recently, that is an enormous blessing. So I am enjoying it and sort of celebrating that I can't be outdoors today by mopping my floors. They need it! I am very earnest in my procrastination about housework.

Hi girls!! Looks like we could use some uplifting words and encouragement around here today, so thank you Doing It Right- that really helps to see what the big picture looks like.

Jess- Im betting you're going to break through this stall, just give it a little more time. Maybe your body is just ready for P3? I know I asked you but I cant remember what said, are you doing another round?

Kimmie- dont get frustrated (I know easier said than done), the protocol is still working! There is ALOT going on behind the scenes with hcg and you're right- there arent many diets that you can lose 5 lbs in one week! Just try to commit yourself to pushing though these hard days when you dont see the scale move.

Layla and Tipsy- Same with you girls, you're doing great and I know how hard it is when the scale doesnt move but you're still shaping and losing inches

Cali and PD- Hi guys! Hope you guys are doing great

Okay I cant go back to the last page without losing my work but someone said something about diet coke? Well let me just say that I never did give it up in P2. I didnt have one every day, but there were quite a few days that I would get a LG diet coke from McDonalds and I never had a gain after. So for me, it didnt seem to alter my losses. Now what my favorite thing is, is to mix 1/2 a large glass of water with 1/2 of that clear sparkling water that tastes like fruit- from Walmart. Anyone know what Im talking about? Its called American choice or something like that. Anyway, I loooove it. Also, Ive heard alot of people taking sparkling water and adding the flavored stevia drops to it. Im thinking you could easily make your own creme soda or rootbeer..yum!

Before I head out to run my errands, I wanted to update that the scale was indeed much kinder to me today. This morning I weighed in at 186.4 so Im up just .2 from my LDW. Must've been all that cheese!! Keeping everything crossed for maintenance from here on out, but Im also realistic and expect some fluctuations this week.

The little button right next to the quote button, the one with the + sign, press it once and it turns red. Do that for as many posts as you want to quote and if you press it a second time on the same post then it takes that one out. Make sense? Clear as mud?

I've heard people talk about it, but I never used it. I really don't find it necessary but others may disagree.

I Pellegrino too! It's really yummy with a little Valencia Orange Stevia. The Wal-Mart flavored waters are good too, but they have aspartame so they might not work for some people (I know I try to watch the artificial sweetners).

Oh, me too on the housework! My house looks like a tornado went through it right now - granted, there is some construction going on in a couple rooms but that does not explain the rest of the house !

Sorry so many are going through a rough spot with the losses . I completely understand what you're feeling - I lost only 0.8 pounds during week 3 Try to look at the big picture and stick through it! And make sure you're getting lots of water, that always makes a huge difference for me.

And now for me... up only 0.2 this morning so still 2.4 below LDW My appetite is a little better today. I made almond flour pancakes for breakfast. I had 2 of those topped with a little SF syrup, and a BIG cup of coffee with HWC. Lunch was a massive salad with a whole avocado (mmmmm!), turkey breast, cheese, and ranch dressing - can we say HEAVENLY I think I'm going to have some of the chicken thighs I roasted yesterday for supper tonight. I'll probably have some yogurt and berries for a snack in a little bit too (that's my favorite way to get my fruit in, Jen). Oh, P3, I've missed you.

whew...the house is a lot cleaner. Which is good because I teach from 10-6 tomorrow and this way my poor students won't think my standards are dodgy. Actually, in summer, they're mostly college students. I'm fairly certain that on my worst days my house looks better than their dorm rooms

My entire family is working tonight except me. I am going to be...alone...oooooo.....I am going to the grocery store but then....I am really actually going to be home, in my clean house, all by myself. Sounds really silly probably, but I'm really excited!

Kim,

If you told yourself you were going to stick to protcol don't stop now. Lemon and stiva and make leammonaid and no crystal light.

I got myself a nice cup with a staw beause I knew I drink more out of a straw than anything else and that is what works for me so I drink and drink and drink.

I think we just all have to honor the agreement we made with OURSELVES when we started. Doesn't matter what anybody else says or does, right? I'm pretty much just following the set of instructions that came with my Vox pellets, which isn't quite as generous as the OWL plan allows, but isn't quite as strict as Pounds and Inches (it allows a few more choices of fruits and vegetables, and mentions several different crackers, not just melba or grissini.)

I think where you get in trouble is just what you said--if you start compromising whatever it is that you told yourself you were going to to do, it's the slippery slope!

I have never tried Pellegrino...might be heading to the store to give it a try this weekend; thanks.

So for dinner I ground my chicken breast up myself, onion, garlic, hach pepers, can of roasted tomatoes (low carb) and let me just say I am in HEAVEN! I added a lot of spice to it and it is so yummy. Even my husband and kids tasted it (tasters while I cooked) and they said "how come you never make that for us" lol

I totally agree. I told myself I would follow what my doc told me. He was pretty flexable mine is a cross between OWL, Pounds & Inches and Medi-weightloss. I lean more towards Pounds & Inches but I allow more veggies and a few other iteams from the other plans.

I just don't want to mess this one up because I want to stay with it. Spices is key for me and looking at my chicken breast and saying 'how can I do something cool with you today.' lol I made baffolo chicken the other day and LOVED it, Then I stuffed it with onions and it was good. Grounded it up tonight and it is the best yet. I cook only a couple days at a time so I have wiggle room for a change.

If we all stay TRUE to our plans we will do great...even with the Zeros going around

Did you drink your water today everyone? I need 2 more servings and getting them in now!

I am TOTALLY with you on this. I have commented before about how flat-out surprised I've been by how much I'm enjoying the challenge of cooking these few very basic foods and creating something delicious and enjoyable out of them.

I've been blown away by how little money I've spent on food in the last month, but how much enjoyment I've found in what I do eat. There have been some interesting lessons on this journey, and many of them haven't been about weight loss!

(And I've got 20 more ounces of water to get my 100 in. I try to do it by around 8:00 so I'm not up all night!)

The pitfalls or leassons as you called them is what will keep ya focused.

The confrance I was at Thurs & Fri really got me drinking my water much later in the day so I have been up and down to the bathroom a LOT in the night. So not happy about that. Learnned a LOT but so glad it is OVER!
