Great job sticking to plan despite being in the car!!

I had to run in the store on my way to the office....need an apple.

Well I just don't remember the store smelling so good...fruits, veggies in the produce department hit me in the face and don't even get me started on the freash bread! lol

But 2 small apples and ran to checkout with them!

Tipsy...here's something I found interesting as I progressed through the early weeks on this plan. In the beginning...boy...the aromas of other people's food...in the stores, the mall, at home...hard to deal with. Needed to RUN, just as you so wisely chose to do. About three weeks in though...something changed. My son bakes and I started to really enjoy just smelling his cakes/breads baking and was okay with not tasting. I have no frame of reference for this phenomenon in my previous 53 years of life. I don't know if it's the HCG, the limited amount of food, a change in my attitude or what...but it's very interesting to me. I have a sort of patience about food being there when I get around to actually eating it that I've never ever had before. I'm REALLY hoping I can retain some of that when I finish with the HCG.

I hope we all can find a healthy balance after the drops. Today was like 'OH MY' for me and once I got out I was baffled. That I keep that control.

I did it! I did it! I did it! I broke through my historic stall of 177. I didn't get a whoosh but I did lose one pound. I almost got teary-eyed when I weighed. I haven't been able to get lower than 177 in at least 12 years, maybe even more! I am just BESIDE myself!

Why, I think I'll have an APPLE for breakfast to celebrate. (NOT)

Oh, and I just have to say....

Thanks, girls, and congrats to all of you for how well you are doing. Wiggles, I plan to be JUST like you when I get to P3--totally on protocol, nothing even remotely "iffy" passing these lips, dangit. You're my hero.

Ladies, in my mind, this diet is nothing short of a miracle, so let's all keep giving it our VERY best effort--no wishy-washying. Go us!

I don't think the world is ready for my 54 year old self in a mini skirt--at ANY weight! Hahaha!

But thanks for the support, {{Kimmie}}

You're doing great--WTG on the planning and preparation that helped you through your drive yesterday. THAT'S the way we make it work, girl!

Really liked my lunch today...

So I decided to take my grilled chicken for today and mix in some spices and shread it all up and take my lettuce and make lettuce wraps. Like the crunch and the change!

Tonight is my cook day and I will cook for the week. Going to cook london briol and more chicken and bag it up. and do one meal chicken and one beef and I think that will help my 'ugh chicken again' mode I am in so far. It will also help me hit my 500 calores.

My family is excited because I am cooking for them tonight as Dad has been doing Hamburger Helpers mostly since I started this. He said he would cook the first week to make sure I was 'ok' with the change of food and could skip a 'taste' but last night I had my 15 yr. old cook a pork tendor loin and mashed tators and a veggie....and I will admit it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be to not taste the tators!

What do you think the hardest thing for you has been since you started this?

What a sweet husband you have, Tipsy! That is super supportive!

Without a doubt, my hardest thing was back in my second week when I had to go spend a week in Seattle with my son and hubby (long story, but his job is there, so we have a condo there and our house here in So Cal.) Anyway, I had a big fancy dinner to go to for his job. No one there had met me, so the dinner was in my honor and I felt that all eyes were on me. (In reality, I'm sure they weren't.) They ordered a mass of appetizers for the table to share, and the HR director sitting next me actually PUT THINGS ON MY PLATE as the platters went by. But I am proud to say that I cut it, stirred it, mushed at around, and didn't eat one bite. Then I ordered fish and scraped the sauce off as subtly as I could and ate that.

Sheesh. I wouldn't want to live that night again. I was SO STRESSED OUT!

My hardest was the trip with my family, after a visit to an art gallery at the end of our vacation. It was late afternoon and I was getting pretty hungry. I was really good for my whole week away and we were back in town, just still had a day of fun and nothing but fun planned, so I didn't have food in the car. If I hadn't been hungry then, it wouldn't have been so bad. But we stopped here: Glacé Artisan Ice Cream and I did it...I made it, but I was the ugliest sorriest excuse for a human being for the rest of the night because of it! Sometime you all have to sample some of the handiwork of master chocolatier Christopher Elbow. This stuff is surreal...it shouldn't even be called "ice cream" anymore...they need to invent a better word. But...I can have it later oh wait...maybe I'm not supposed to put that link in there. I will take it out

I read that night in your jornal...I felt for you! lol

I am dreading next week as we are going out to dinner with friends...sushi place. I will figure it out. I have ZERO shame in bringing my own food in if I need too to add to something from them. I am waiting for them to decide where so I can research it.

Tomorrow and Friday I am at a Leadership confrance. I didn't preorder my meal and plan on running home (live walking distance) and eating my food or I might just bring it with me incase everyone wants to go out to eat and I will eat my food. I am worried about the YUMMY snack box they give out each year but you know I am focused and will take the box and give it to my kids when I get home! Thursday my son gets his heart scan to see if he has HCM (enlarged heart) to clear him for sports. His uncle died from it 3 years ago and I had to wait for my son to turn 12 to have him checked...my husband does not have it so that is a postive but I will be fearing stress eating but really trying not to stress out about it.

Woohooo Jessica!!!

Jess here's a big WEEEEEEE coming your way!!!! Lol. That is awesome, you must feel on top of the world today!!!! So excited for you!

Tipsy- Congrats on your huge loss! Those are soooo nice arent they? Lol. All your meals sound great!! It took me about a week or so to get used to not taste testing everything I cook for my family lol. It was hard at first! The hardest part for me? Hmmm it was dealing with hunger. There were days I really struggled with being hungry and that was the hardest. I even had several occasions where I had to make cookies or cake, etc and it didnt bother me very much. I just dont like being hungry when everyone else is eating til they are full, and I cant....know what I mean?

Wiggles, you are doing awesome! I wouldnt worry about the weight creeping back up- they say the first week or so you will have wild fluctuations (and you arent even having those) before the weight stabilizes. Im super impressed with your meals and how much control you have!

Kimmie- Woohooo!!! Awesome loss girl! You are rockin this program

Balance101, PrivateDiva, Cali- and everyone else, Hope you guys are doing great!

Today I was down .8 so I'm only under my LDW by about .2- which is not good cause I know Im going to need that wiggle room. Im trying to be very careful about what I eat so I dont overdo it right away . This morning I had exactly what I said I was going to: 2 eggs with cheese, though I did add a little coconut oil to fry them in. I had 2 slices pre-cooked bacon and heavy cream in my coffee. You know the funny part was that I had a really hard time getting the eggs down. Not the bacon, mind you but the eggs just didnt want to go down. Like I was NOT hungry and I felt like I was forcing myself to eat. Guess thats what happens when you dont eat breakfast for 3 weeks. Anyway, I will stick to my plan for lunch and dinner and just double my normal protein portions and probably enjoy some full-fat dressing on my salad. I'm thinking though, about HWC mixed with splenda on top of strawberries for dessert Hmmm, do I dare? I think I do!!

Wow I was cross-posting with like 3 of you guys LOL. Tipsy- keeping everything crossed your son is clear at his scan!
PrivateDiva- that WAS quite the food challenge! I dont think I would have been able to keep from giving in!
Jess- I was and still am impressed with how you handled the restaurant situation! Very clever!

Oh that does sound tough! It is hard enough when on a trip to not slip but put ice cream or chocolate and it is so tough!

I know that "I can have it later" will not be something I can say because I have trigger food that will just throw me in a eating nightmare. So Knowing that about myself I just know there are foods I will NEVER get again and I am honestly ok with that. Dropping weight and feeling healthier and getting past medical issues is totally my goal in life!

Jen- Thanks I am keeping my fingers crossed as well.

Congrats on a little wiggle room. I love that you are not changing so much right away but slowly. I think that will be my plan too when I get there. Deseart sounds WONDERFUL...go for it!

Tipsy, the important thing is that you clearly have thought through all the upcoming challenges and have made a plan to follow through on them. I KNOW that you will triumph because you are prepared!

Jen, I think being UNDER your LDW is excellent. It'll be an adjustment, not looking for a loss every morning!

Tipsy Im the exact same way. There are foods that are like drugs to me- I cant just have a little so I need to just stay away for good. Honestly, after 3 weeks of little/no sugar or carbs- I feel SO GOOD, I just dont want to mess that up. I dont plan on ever adding cookies, etc back in (those are my triggers).

For me, I think the "beast" food is wheat. I think I just need to come to grips with that once and for all and move on. I was very good for many years about remaining totally gluten free. Then I gradually infected myself with that stuff...and it was not a good idea. I don't need to go there again.

Ditto. And not only do I pay the price for it--so does everyone else in the room....

ugggggggggggggg just went to the mailbox and lo and behold a free sample of maynards blush berries in the mail..and not just a small sample a nice size box,,,talk about testing my resistance..I love Maynards swedish berries hahaha. I decided to put them away in the freezer and save them for my next loading period for round 2. I'm going to try and do a second round over either Christmas or Thanksgiving then I can splurge a little LOL and have my load days for the big dinner.

I do have one question tho..are we allowed to take a fibre supplement?
