Down .4 this morning. One week in I am down 9.3lbs and 22.75 inches!! Didn't hit my 10lb goal, but I'm happy with where I am. I'm more confident and comfortable then I've been in a long time!

Well looking at my stats it looks like I have lost 1.4 pounds. But my scale was a bit odd today. It first said 129, then 128, 2 times thereafter. So I am either 0.4 or 1.4 down today. I chose the latter but won't be upset to see 128 again tomorrow LOL.
Have a great day everyone!! |

So I was down another 1.2 today, so 10.2 in 2 days (water weight of course) but thats okay, I wont have to drag it out over many days to get rid of that part at least..
Hope you all have a great Wednesday, and congrats on the losses, hugs on the stalls!! ![]() ![]() |

Good morning! 18 more days to go. Can't wait to be on the 72 hour countdown. Craving fish of all things. Wish Salmon was on the menu. I'm currently obsessed with mustard. I love the dijon at trader joes.
Trying to hibernate my way through the rest of the month. We will see how it goes. Can't wait to see how much I weigh. |

Actually me... cuz its not normal for one, but two, I dont count it, as if I did not eat as badly during loading, I would not have been 10 lbs heavier in 2 days either... so it really does not count to me... But I am glad it was gone quick, makes me feel horrible when I am bloated like that!

Round 2 load weight gone!!! Time for reality losses although I would take 3+ a day I don't think that's going to happen. Cooked like a maniac for hubby and I to get us through a couple days. We have a supply of chili, stew and chicken soup to get us through along with a couple lean round steaks for our grilling night. Boy the life we live!!!
Have a couple social events this weekend that I'm dreading because of the temptation for food and a drink, but I know this plan works if you don't cheat so I can be strong - I will be strong and if I can't perhaps someone will just knock me out until it's over.

Oh, this is so slow going for me. I am down only 0.2 today. However that means I am seeing new numbers and that the 1.4 lbs lost yesterday stuck AND took a smidge with it. So all in all it is good news!!!! Lowest numbers for this round!!!

Great job Dawn! New numbers are new numbers!! I think the more you do this diet, like most, it gets harder and harder to get nice losses!!
I am down 1.4 more this morning for 11.8 in 3 weighin days... (1.8 postload)... Lets be strong for the weekend!!! |

Wow!! This is a great day!! Everyone is steady or losing!!! How fabulous that we are in sync with each other. I am cooking up some fish for a few meals. I think that makes it easy to grab and go when it is ready to go!!! Have a fabulous Thursday!!!

Hey ladies, I have been following all of your progress daily but I don't post anything I just read. But I do have a question as I am doing the protoco as well. Does anyone know what the protocol or if the protocol says anything about fluid pills. Do you think it would have an effect on losing. The reason I am asking is because my doctor has prescribed them for me and I have to take a 1/2 one daily and I've noticed that my weight loss has not been great even though I have been sticking strictly to the program. I've gained a couple of times this week and I don't understand why. Your thoughts?

I would love to join in with this group.
I started loading on August 7th and gained one pound during loading. Started low calorie on August 9th. Lost 2 pounds on the 10th and 3.2 pounds on the 11th so I have lost 5.2 pounds in 2 days (one of those pounds from loading). Very happy with that! This is the 3rd time I have tried hHCG and I quit the other 2 times within days, I couldn't handle the low calories. This time I am determined to stick with it because low carb is just not working for me. I lost 70 pounds in about 6 months back in 2007 with low carb and then watched it slowly creep back up. I have been doing strict low carb for months and lost about 5 pounds the first week and then nothing. Month and months of nothing. I don't know why it isn't working for me now but I need something to help me lose weight and I am hoping this is it. I have been reading here off and on since I first heard about HCG (since about January) and I figured this time I should join in, maybe it will help me stick with it if I have some support. I almost caved last night, I started getting hungry before I got home from work and I wanted to eat something so bad but I waited, ate my dinner when I got home, took my drops, and then tried to keep my mind off of food. I don't think I am having real hunger so much, just head hunger. I do get real hunger around dinner but it usually goes away once I eat and then I am just left with wanting something to snack on, not really being hungry. I do hear my stomach growling sometimes around lunch but I never "feel" the hunger just hear it, lol. Anyway, I just wanted to join in, at least hold myself accountable, and maybe get some support when I want to quit. Brandi |

Hi guys... I do really well with beef and usually roast a top round in the oven for 25-30 minutes but since I learned that Eye of round has less fat, I looked for a recipe and found this at Allrecipes.... cant wait to try it!!!!
"Eye of round roast is roasted at 500 degrees F. This recipe takes a very tough piece of meat and makes it so tender and delicious. The easiest roast you'll ever cook!" Ingredients: 1 (3 pound) beef eye of round roast salt and pepper to taste Directions: 1. Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F (260 degrees C). Season the roast with salt and pepper and place in a roasting pan or baking dish. Do not cover or add water. 2. Place the roast in the preheated oven. Reduce the temperature to 475 degrees F (245 degrees C). Roast for 21 minutes (seven minutes per pound) then turn off the oven and let the roast sit in the hot oven for 2 1/2 hours. Do not open the door at all during this time! 3. Remove the roast from the oven, the internal temperature should have reached at least 145 degrees F (65 degrees C). Carve into thin slices to serve.
