Things are good for me today... I was stalled for a week and finally broke it, I've lost 4lbs in the last 2 days. I'm at 137, R2 vlcd28, -23lbs total so far.

I did my first round in Feb/March, lost 40 lbs, got down to 125, then went off the deep end and gained it all back, QUICKLY! I had wild fluctuations when I went to P3, and got so frustrated I just threw in the towel. Never thought I would gain it back that quick.

It took a while to get my head back in it, I had several failed re-starts before this round actually started. I think I've got the losing down, now I've got to figure out how to not lose my head when I transition to P3.

So anyways, I hope to get back to 125, but I will be at the lake/boating/camping for Labor Day, so I will move to P3 a week prior, unless I get goal first.

Hope you all have a great evening, and a nice loss in the morning!

Tonya

This is ridiculous. I'm UP .2 today. What the ***** do I have to do to get past 190???? Seriously???????? I have lost only 1.8 lbs in the last 7 days, it's not TOM, it's not bernice, I'm nowhere NEAR goal, and it's only week 3 of round 1! GAH!

Grats on the 4 pounds Tonya! I'm so afraid that I'll gain the weight back in P3, not on my first two rounds though because I have trips planned to see family, but between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I think I'm just going to keep using this forum as a crutch. Everyone is so inspiring! You can do this!

I know it's frustrating desi. No loss for me this morning and no reason for it. We just have to stay on track and be patient.

How long of a P2 are you planning?

Corey, for no loss. Stupid scale.

I'm planning a 42-day P2 and I'm halfway through. Depending on how the next 20 days go I may see if my dr will let me extend it for another week if I have drops left. I'm not going past 9/9 though because I'm hosting a 40th birthday party for one of my BFFs and I WILL be having a drink and a cupcake!

I called my dr this morning and he said now that I’m past the initial rush, I’m one of those people who go through a cycle every few days of lose, gain/maintain, lose, and the reason for it is how my body is breaking down the fat cells. He said to keep an eye on body water/body fat percentage on the scale because if fat goes down by a certain percent and water goes up by more than .5 percent more than fat went down (does that make sense?) it means that my body is retaining water as it breaks down the fat cells. He says that’s a normal process; some people just retain more water than others during the process and I’m apparently one of them. So overall I’ll lose the same amount of weight, it just won’t be as steady as someone who doesn’t retain as much water as fat cells are breaking down. And yeah, I did know all that, but it's reassuring coming from a dr who has seen this time & time again in his clients.

Tonya - your post gave me hope that I'll get through this frustrating week as well!

Yep, makes lots of sense. But it comforts me too that your doctor said it. I'm going 49 days too. My goal is 25 pounds. I think I'll make it. I'm an optimist. LoL! I bet you'll lose more than that even.

Good Morning ladies! I am down ZERO again today. I will do an apple day tomorrow if I have no losses tomorrow. I was going to do one today, but I realized I was panicking a little bit. I am in this for the long haul, so I want to do it right!!

Joining the group of angry faces this morning
Well, I woke up extremely dizzy this morning, and feeling pretty much like crap, and then got on the scale and was up a 1 lb... made me feel even worse! I did not eat bad yesterday, so its either the braggs amino acids I had last night and sodium/water retention, or TOM is due in a few days.. either way, BOO!!!! Hope everyone else does better than me today!

Nada for me this morning too. It's fine...I've been dropping really well this week and it totally figures that I'd get stuck .5 lb away from having lost 30 lbs. WHATEVER...my husband told me my jammies were hot last night (and I wasn't really trying...I mean...we're not talkin negligee or anything. Seriously...just jams
so....Take THAT scale!!!!!!!

I held the same today, okay with that since I had 4lbs the last 2 days, time to catch up.
I'm sorry you are all struggling, it will pass. If it might help anyone, or give you hope, in my 1st round these were my total:

Wk 1 -15.6lbs
Wk 2 - 4 lbs
Wk 2 - 5.8lbs
Wk 4 - 4.2lbs
Wk 5 - .6 ONLY!
Wk 6 - 8.8lbs
last 2 days 2lbs

So you can see every week varied, week 5 was awful, but week 6 was awesome.
I lost 10.8 on my last 9 days. I hit 125 and ran, big mistake. I will stay there a few days before I transition this time.

Keep plugging away, you don't know what's around the corner.
Have a nice day!

Well, you know what they say...misery loves company I'm sorry so many of us are struggling right now. Hopefully we'll see our losses pick up in the next few days!!

Tonya, THANK YOU so much for posting your stats! It is extremely helpful and encouraging to see such a great bounceback after a bad week, and such a hugely successful round! You rock!!

Wow Tonya, your numbers are amazing
Did you do your first round strict protocal, or did you do a rouge version?
I need to get back on the wagon, I too lost it and gained it back and more
Great job!

Aww thanks!

Ashley, yes I did it by the book. Except I never ate the grain. Now on my second round I've added 0 Fage GY. I count this as a protein, and don't eat the grain. Hasn't affected my losses and I have it about 3 days a week.

I just couldn't get back on track after that 1st round, and I think the GY made all the difference for me.

Now I just have to figure out how to keep it off in P3. I'm more of a lurker but think I will need help when I get there, so here I am. Thanks for letting me in!

WOOO HOOOO!!! check me out - finally in the 180s!!!

I was sooooo dreading the scale today, afraid it was going to still be up, but it was kind. now for my big challenge of the day: going to dinner tonight with my book group. I've checked the menu online and it looks like I can get a filet or grilled chicken. I'll probably go with filet (mmmmm) and maybe a side salad; not sure if they have steamed veggies - it didn't specify sides on the menu. I feel pretty in control of dinner except having to eyeball portion size. I just hope this doesn't put me up tomorrow on the scale!!

Hooray desi!!! Just the extra fuel you needed to get you through that dinner tonight!!

I'm .6 closer to the 170s today. And I had 4 different weights on my dumb scale. 180.6 is the lowest and that's what I took!

Have a great day ladies!! We can do this!!

go go go Ladies! Sounds like folks are having a good morning! I'm taking a 2 day "No weigh-in due to extremely early wake-up call" so I'm blissfully ignorant of my scale's input until Monday morning. I feel good, it's a beautifully day. Have a great weekend, one and all!

Corey, I hope you see the 170s tomorrow!!

Lil, great job on the whoosh! WTG!

Cat, Private, everyone else - have a fabulous Sunday and may the weight loss fairy grant you whooshes!

So I had my dinner and did pretty well. I ate super light at lunch - 2 oz turkey and 4 oz cucumber so I had plenty of wiggle room. I ended up with a garden salad, 8 oz filet, sautéed spinach & garlic, and mixed veggies. I asked for no fat on anything but I think there may have been some butter in the spinach; it was just too darn good! I ended up cleaning my plate and it was the best thing I've eaten since starting P2. I was at about 550 calories for the day and ended up losing 1 lb this morning!! So glad to see that resisting the fried mozzarella and spinach/artichoke cheese dip ordered for the table paid off

I am down zero today, but TOM is here so I am just going with the flow.

I am off to our Church picnic and then will see my sister later today for the first time since December.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Why are men so lucky to have a steady loss and we have to deal with stalls. They're so lucky!
Had a very nice compliment yesterday(my first since starting 2 weeks ago). Haven't seen teachers I work w/ in a while and ran into one @ our new elementary tour. When she saw me, she said, "Holy skinny!" I loved it. It was really motivating because I didn't tell anyone that I was doing HCG, and I've been waiting for someone to notice.
Thanks for all your help guys! I'm now 1/3 of the way through phase 2 and feeling good. I WILL do it this time and I WILL keep it off! ~Lyn
