Like an idiot, I weighed myself just now
I never weigh in the late afternoons/evenings, but in these last P2 days, I'm becoming anxious. I just weighed and I weigh an ENTIRE 2.6lbs MORE than I did this morning. Yes, I know I'll weigh less tomorrow morning, but I'll be SO SAD if I gained even 1 more pound after this rough week. It doesn't sound accurate that I'll weigh so much less tomorrow morning when I haven't even eaten that much today. And it's definitely not accurate for me to gain weight since I'VE BEEN ON PROTOCOL every minute.
I'm not sure this is due to hydrating more today, but it's not 2.6lbs worth. Ugh, this is terrible. I shouldn't have done it and now it's all I can think about. I better not gain tomorrow - it will send me to depression. Damn these last days on P2, I swear. ![]() Last edited by Millenia98; 08-05-2011 at 04:33 PM.. |

You can weigh in the evening but DO NOT take what the scale says to heart!
It has not been unusual for me to weigh FIVE LBS more in the evening than I did in the morning! And once I pee a few times and Bernice visits... guess what... it's gone the next day! I know it's hard but DON'T SWEAT IT!! |

oh so don't sweat it! A couple days ago I drank 7 liters of water during the day (Texas),
when I went to bed I was up & 7 1/2 lbs., I only got up once to go to the bathroom, and guess what? I lost all of it plus 1 the next morning. WEIRD |

I hate evening weight. I figure that if I drink 16oz. that's a pound, so if I weigh myself right after I drink it, I have got to be up a pound. So evening weight will take the day's food and drink into consideration. Don't want that! I only like to weigh in the morning, after I "empty the tank".
I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised in the morning. Chris |

I NEVER weigh after the first time in the morning. The only time I like to weigh is in P2. Otherwise I hate it. The only reason I weigh at all is because Dr. S. said we have to
But I agree with the others..... your weight can change a tremendous amount during the day. That's why we're only supposed to weigh in the morning, after evacuating |

I'm anywhere from 2 to 4.5 pounds lighter in the morning than in the evening (even without clothes).

Way too much time on my hands!

A quart of water weighs 2 lbs. My P2 meals usually weigh a little over a pound each. If it's in your stomach, it gets weighed with you.
ETA: wrestlers have been known to drink a lot of water right before a weigh-in to achieve the weight class they want for a meet. I remember a bar owner, a former wrestler, who participated in a weight loss challenge at his bar. He won because he drank a gallon and a half of water before his initial weigh-in.
