Make sure you measure your height in the morning...you can lose an inch during the day due to normal spinal compression (being a shortie I know what time of day to measure :blush: )

Millenia - You're doing great too, girl. Your body is probably just looking forward to P3!! Here's hoping you see a few more pounds in your last 3 days.

Paula - that was my height at the Dr - I should measure at home in the morning when we measure DD. She wants sooooo bad to be at least 5'10" for basketball. She's 5'9" now with her shoes on, so not too much farther to go...and of course she likes being taller than Mom. heh.

As for me, I'm down .8 today. Yay! 180s, I'm coming for you!!!

Yay! Isn't it such a great feeling get close to a new set of numbers!? I'm down a measly .4 today but I deserve it because I ate a bag of 100 calorie popcorn yesterday! I'm still inching closer to the 170's!

Our thread is dwindling a little, but it's much easier to respond to people now!

I'm up .4 this morning. I'm not that surprised really. I had a can of tuna for lunch. I guess that isn't working for me. :blush: I didn't drink all of my water yesterday either and hopefully bernice will come soon! Hopefully it will be gone plus some tomorrow!

Hope you guys do better than me this morning!

I'm down .4 today. I was expecting a smaller loss today because I've had a few days of good losses, but I was hoping for more. :blush: I got together with friends last night and DID NOT have the cheese dip, Mexican 7 layer dip, chips, devilled eggs, cookies as big as my head, brownies, and OMG the DRINKS...I was chanting to myself "I can have that later..." just feeling a bit put upon and deprived today. But proud of myself for staying strong.

Private: great job on the BMI! Awesome!

Balance: it will come off and then some. Hang in there.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

desifink, may I just say, YOU DID AN AMAZING JOB with all that food around last night! It's really amazing how much those situations take out of us, isn't it? I was totally grumpy when I was out with my family and didn't have any of the most amazing ice cream in the entire world. (I can have that later) and I'm a little apprehensive about the baseball game we have tickets for in a couple of weeks...I love that ballpark crap BUT...I can have that later. I think I will "cheat" that night by allowing myself a huge Diet Coke. That is actually a pretty exciting thought!

Well, ladies...it's been real! I'm kind of sad to report that yesterday was my last day of drops. After only 30 days. I didn't plan it this way but I left my bottle of drops at work and it's too far to go back. So many signs were telling me its time for P3- even against my will. I gained .2 today and since I've been hovering (losing and gaining the same .2 or .4 this week 4), that was another sign. I wanted to fight to get into those 160's and I didn't make it. But I'll be there next round.

So, since I left my drops at work, I will eat VLC until tomorrow and then P3 begins Sunday night.

Good luck to my firecrackers and thanks for taking this round's ride with me. Good luck and please fight until the very last minute. It is so worth it!

The last numbers are 19lbs during my second round of hhcg (30 days). 14.5 lbs in my first round back in May (that was a 23-day RX round).

On to the third round in September! I fought hard. I really did.

I am down zero again today, but to be honest am kind of relieved I didn't gain because yesterday was super hard to stay on Protocol. I did pretty good, but indulged in extra Melba, pickles and a few tablespoons of lowfat whipped cream.

Hi gals! I've been quiet this week cause there hasn't been much to report-i've been STUCK at 125 despite no cheats

So last night I went out and ate off plan food with my husband, sigh-I won't be weighing today! I actually don't really regret it...we had a nice time, and honestly I feel pretty good at 125-I am right back on the wagon today, so it isn't the start of a binge or anything. I've decided I will give it one more 100%on plan week to see if I can move my weight, because i'd really like to get to 120! The dinner & time with my husband helped my spirits, this week of P2 food yet no weight loss had me acting and feeling like an absolute monster.

Awww, thanks. It's nice to get encouragement from someone who gets it.

Tonight is going to be almost as bad. DD comes home today from a week-long summer camp and we haven't talked to her since last Sunday - no cell phones or contact with the outside world allowed! I can't wait to see her and I'm so happy she's coming home. I'm making her one of her favorite dinners: ham and hashbrown casserole and parker house rolls. She's 14 and very athletic, so she can afford to eat like that! Me, not so much. But I looooooove hashbrown casserole and would kick the dog for a parker house roll. (I'm thinking of a lot of mean things I'd do right now for a bite of something forbidden! ) The house is going to smell heavenly and I'm going to be eating my P2 chili. Just hoping all this is going to pay off by the end of 42 days...

you are a candidate for sainthood making that menu without eating it! That's one thing i haven't done....cook for everybody else. I'm really lucky to have a family who cooks for themselves and has been really understanding and supportive about my need to not even clean up after them in the kitchen. My son is a chef, so he keeps them in better food than I would anyway. And they're tag teaming their dishes...really has helped me to stay out of the kitchen except for preparing and cleaning up after myself.

My daughter was at a camp this summer with no phones too...it was...eerily quiet

I agree with diva, amazing job at staying on plan around all of those goodies. Why are they called goodies anyways when they are so bad for us?! I know they taste good, but surely the bad part lasts longer. Grats to you desi! That shows you can do anything.

I'm glad you don't regret eating off plan Belle, because the stress from that can also stall losses so why bother right? Glad you're with us for another week!

I lost my .4 and another .2, big deal. Feeling bummed that 2 days have been wasted. I'm hoping for a decent loss tomorrow!

thanks Marocka...the good news is you have a lot more time left in your life to enjoy "normal" when you get there Normal is still about 13 lbs over where I want to end up, so I still have a ways to go. However...I do feel better with a BMI of 25 than I did when I started at 29.3 Especially my joints. I have some very rheumatic symptoms (or did!) for the longest time before I started this plan. I exercise like a fiend, and I'd be ok as long as I was moving, but within 10 minutes of cooling down, I could barely move and everything...weird stuff, like my jaw and my thumbs, would ache so badly I felt like crying. I don't know whether it's the weight loss itself...I'm sure it helped...but the improvement really preceded my feeling a whole lot better, or whether it has something to do with HCG...or whether some of my symptoms were related to sensitivities to foods I don't eat because of the plan. I intend to be super-careful reintroducing foods in P3, but especially P4. I feel pretty certain it might be grains that kick my butt. But it may be a simple matter of having less of me for my poor old joints to support. I'm taking notes...I want my doctor to answer these questions because I never want to feel like that again. Like...I was being poisoned or something.

First day for me!!!

Day one for me....nervous, excited, anxious and extremely full from stuffing myself all day!!! Not sure I get the program all the way but going to give it a shot!!!
