OMG, that's AMAZING!!! Def. nothing to sneeze at. SHEESH!! That's at least 2 pant sizes, right?? Wow! Congrats!

You make me wish I would have taken my measurements (I told myself to and still didn’t). The only thing I remember pre-hcg is the measurement of my arms. I’ll try and measure tonight and see how they did

Mind if I jump in?

I'm on R2 P2 VLCD8. I lost 6.6 lbs on my load days and I've lost 9.2 on my VLCDs.

Last round went okay in P2 (short round with a couple of bad eating days). I maintained for about a month then between travelling around Germany and taking a vaction back to the states, eating out all the time I gave in. Ate horriblly and gained from 180 back up to 208 in 5 months. Luckily it seems to be coming right off. I tend to loose easily but gain just as easily.

Hubby is deployed and with no travelling until March I should have a solid round or two (all the way through Phase 4) under my belt. Been doing alright this round. No cheats except some diet pop occasionally. I'm still trying to decide if I want to do a short round or long round.

Do any of ya'll ever have issues eating all your food? If you do, how do you handle it?

Welcome ArmyWife! We love new Firecrackers!

Wow, I wish I had issues eating all of my food. Most days I'm at about 550 calories. I don't feel hunger, but I definitely have no problem eating. (That will never change..) How do you guys lose on your load days?! Grats on your 75 pound loss!

Welcome and THANKYOU to you and your husband for your service!

I do sometimes have issues with finishing all my food. I can usually tell after about three bites at lunch if it is going to be that kind of (blessed!) day. What I have started doing is cutting my portion in half right then and putting the second part away. I nibble as long as it takes for me to finish the first part, rest a bit, then take out the second part and just pick at it until it's done. At dinner, I start out with half and just go at it slowly and steadily. I'm told it's really important to get those 500 calories in, so I have been faithful about eating them even when I haven't felt like doing it. I'm in constant amaze on those days! There are worse things than being forced to eat continually once in a while

Ah, low-carb load days.. I've heard of that...

Diva, I your siggy quote. "I can have that later." Ever since I've seen it, I've used it when I see something I want (frequently) and it always makes me feel better.

feeling better, but while I was at work (I work with horses) in one of the stalls, I seriously felt soooo dizzy and like I was going to black out, so I sat down and drank some water....home now and I scarffed down a tuna sandwich and I feel MUCH MUCH MUCH better!! It was weird and kinda scary, the last time I felt like that I was preggo with my oldest (12 now) and I came down with the flu and I felt like I was going to DIE!

Thanks so much for the welcome everyone

Balance - We had been on vacation in the states for a few weeks prior to my load days so I think I was super loaded from eating at all our favorite restaurants (since we'd been away a year and anticipated it'd be another year away, we ended up going a little crazy). So when I loaded I did mainly low carb but also had other stuff I wanted occasionally.

Privatediva - That's how I've been approaching it as well. It doesn't always happen but some days I'm just not feeling up for my second protein and veggie. However I know the protein is important and I noticed the day I didn't eat my second I had a much smaller loss.

Today's Menu:

B: none
S: melba, orange
L: P2 chili
S: melba, apple
D: chicken, lettuce
S: green tea

water: 2L

Balance, that quote is saving me over and over again! I think that women are generally pretty good at delaying gratification. If I thought I could never have X, Y or Z again, I would go nuts. But I can eat this way as long as I need to, so long as I keep reminding myself I won't be eating this way forever!

Diva, I love your quote too! I read your post yesterday and it helped me in the afternoon when I was down about a few things coming up. I have a party Friday night and a dinner Monday night. I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't eat, drink, and be merry and stay on protocol. Then I remembered your quote: I can have that later!

Christina! I'm fairly new to this group too and everyone is wonderful and supportive. Jump on in! The only time I've had an issue with eating all my food is when it has been sucktastic, like today's lunch. I made a spinach chicken salad with a warm mustard dressing. I got the recipe from the recipe book that came with my protocol. It was AWFUL. I had to choke it down.

Marocka - hope you're feeling better and not coming down with something! How's the hand?

Lil - 15.5 inches in 33 days is crazytalk!! That must feel AWESOME!! WTG!

So I'm down 1 lb today, 10.8 total. I guess that crappy salad yesterday was worth it. I go to the dr. today for my check-in, and I'll get measured. Can't wait to see what the change is after 1 week - my clothes do feel a bit looser!

Ladies, my last day of VLCD...P3 tomorrow.

I'm calling 129.2 as LDW and ignoring the ovulation weight. Thankfully most of it dropped today (1.8 gone) and I'm back down to 129.6. I've got to claim every pound I can being such a slow loser. I only lost about 5 inches this round...but they were pretty targeted in my lower belly. And the fat% lost quite well despite the small weight loss (30.4 on first loading day to 28.6 today). I hope to hit my final goal this year in 2011, but won't cry if it takes more than 2 rounds. Well, I won't cry much! Next round I'll keep the peanut butter out of the house to avoid temptation!

Good luck to everyone following P2, and I will see you ladies over on the P3 threads soon!

Awww, we'll miss you Paula. I know you didn't lose what you wanted to on this round, but I would kill to lose 5 inches on my lower belly! That alone is worth a round of P2! It will be 3 weeks before I head over to the P3 thread, so I hope you'll come and say hello and let us know how you're doing! Happy P3 to you!

I'm down .4 today. 170's I'm coming for ya!

Have a wonderful day ladies!

Desi - Congrats on the lb. Can't wait to hear how many inches you lost. Our stats (this round) are very similar. How tall are you?

Paula - Good Luck in P3. I can't wait to be there. Congrats on the 5 inches in your lower belly, I'd be so happy with an inch loss like that. Most my weight is centralized in my lower stomach.

Balance - Good Job with the loss! How long of a round are you doing?

Lildrew - WTG on the lb.

Mariah - 2 lbs! Awesome!

I had my apple sliced and microwaved with splenda and cinnamon today, it was delish! I felt like I was eating off protocol. Yum Yum.

Down .4 today. With ovulation looming I'll take any loss I get for the next week. Upped my water today since the diet soda from yesterday seemed to give me some cravings. Hoping they disappear again soon.

I've been doing the apple/cinnamon thing almost every day lately! I put a little nutmeg on mine as well and mmmm....it makes me feel very indulgent.

I would think so...and here's a little secret. One time I forgot to sprinkle on the stevia...so just had cinnamon and nutmeg on my apples. Then....I got distracted and they were sitting in the microwave for a bit before I got them out. The natural sugar in the apple juice that exuded from the apples and kind of caramelized....my apples were sitting in the sweetest cinnamon nutmeg syrup I could imagine. I've intentionally done that since.

I'm going for about 45 days. I'm hoping to hit my goal of 25 pounds, but I have a trip planned in September that I want to be in p4 for so my time is limited to 47 days at most. That will still leave me 3 weeks for P3 and about a week into P4 before I go. I'll be doing another round shortly after that and then another round starting Dec 26. (Loading on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! Whee!)

Down .4 today. With ovulation looming I'll take any loss I get for the next week. Upped my water today since the diet soda from yesterday seemed to give me some cravings. Hoping they disappear again soon.
I make them that way and also cold sliced into wedges and thrown into a sandwich bag with stevia and cinnamon. I shake them up and eat them out of the bag. They're great both ways!

Grats on the loss! As long as your scale is going down, it's worth celebrating!

I'm down .6 this morning! 7 pounds to go in this round! (I'd take more though!)

Hope you all wake up to whooshies!

Thanks!! I'm 5'5". I swear I used to be 5'6", almost 5'7". Guess I'm shrinking. I'm told we do that as we get older. Our stats are similar - it will be good to keep tabs on each other! How tall are you?

Balance - a loss is a loss right? That's what I told myself anyway with the itty bitty losses a few days ago. And it's paying off now (see below )

So I'm down 1.4 today for 12.2 total! Yippee!! I really NEED this couple of days of good losses, because I'm going to a friend's house tomorrow night for game night where lots of eating and drinking is the norm. One of my friends is making broccoli crack, which is what we call this baked broccoli cheese dip that I could just bury my face in; another is making brownies; I don't know about everyone else. My plan is to eat dinner before I go and take some diet Barq's. I need the good losses as motivation to STAY AWAY from all that temptation!!

And, I measured yesterday at my Dr. check-in, and I've lost 6.25" total in the last week.
