Checking in with a small gain of 0.2, which puts me right at the top of my window again. Sigh.

1moretry, I know bouncing close to the top of your window is frustrating. Hope it gets better in the morning.

I'm back down .4 to "normal" this morning tom has arrived..........somewhat, so if i have water weight this month I won't expect it to be gone for a day or two. Speaking of tom-- has anyone else had similar experiences?. My dd and I both regularly have cramps and bloating. Since our p2 in March I haven't had cramps yet-- this month was dd's first tom w/cramps. My water weight seems (we'll see for sure in a few days) to have gotten less each month after p2. (dd didn't keep track of hers well enough to gauge but I think hers is less too).

Morning all - from beautiful Eastern Long Island. Been feeling better for a week now - and I'm sorta sad! I've hardly been home and I miss all my friends here!

Woke up at the top of my window - where I seem to have settled after my first foray with eating mindlessly for 3 days - then a fasting day. I went 6 weeks stable on P3. Then there was the eating/grieving weekend. Just like in the past - it's almost like I messed up my body. I don't know - I'll keep working with it.

I'm still thinking that this time next week I'll start another round. Need to look at my calendar carefully and finalize that.

Happy Monday everyone!

good morning.

so weight today after just eating yesterday and not tracking or doing a CD, was basically the same. 141.4.

what would you do with these:

day 2 of p3 till today
138.2
139.2
138.8
140.0
138.4
140.4
139.0
140.2
141.2
139.0
-- no wt
140.2
140.6
142.0
139.6
141.4
140.4
140.6
141
142.0
140.8
140.6
140.4
141.0
140.4
141.2
141.4

this is even NOT having any fruit for several says....just meat, fat, water. appears that i am stable, but obviously at the top end and slightly over. i think that instead of being frustrated that i am not closer to my 138.6 LDW, i am just going to work on continuing to maintain (mostly b/c of starting p2 again soon). i think (HOPE) that the reason for the higher stabilization is due to eating peanut butter most of p3 unknowing that it was NOT p3. and hoping that the next p3 will be better at stabilizing lower, closer to LDW.

going on vacation thurs. will try and sneak my scale into the car. does it mess with the accuracy to lug a scale around like that?

OK guys i have totally screwed up this P3. I know it's my fault for not transitioning into P3 correctly because i went out last weekend (in my 1st few days of P3). My weight keeps going up. It's scaring me. In a week of p3 i am somehow 9lbs over LDW! I have done 2 correction days, the last 1 being Friday with a steak which netted me a 3lb loss so when i woke up sat. morning--i was back to 209, which made me happy. (my LDW is 206.8 so i just round up to 207). Saturday i ate "lean", meaning cheese and meat, i do admit it may have been too much meat. I had rotessiere chicken and havarti cheese with dill and i overindulged a bit as it was so yummy.
I have never had to follow the calorie rec for height/weight before in p3, i always just ate no sugar/starch and maintained beautifully. I know i royally screwed up this time around--but---what can i do to stabalize? Im doing another steak day today to see what happens but then what? Should i count cals for a while to see if that helps?

Morning everyone. Well, my eating and drinking day yesterday netted me a 5.6 pound gain! Not that I didn't expect it, what with wine AND sugar! From 3 pounds below LDW to over 2 pounds above...guess that just goes to show what MULTIPLE days of that would do to the scale! It was totally worth it though--a once a year event that's a day of fun with my best girlfriends. I can't regret having such a wonderful time and well, life happens. We just gotta learn to deal with life happening. Hopefully a nice roasted chicken cd today will shape me right up. Off to have some lemon/ACV water to flushflushflush, a little cardio to sweat some of it out, and a chiro and massage to top it all off. (I have the day off today... )

Hey, sorry you're going through this. Just nip it in the bud now. I know for sure that if you lean out your proteins and cut back on the cheese, you’ll get back down. I remember that I'd creep up just a tad when I had WAY too much cheese. Some is good but just make sure it's not over the top. What about almonds/cashews - are you having those? I found that if I ate those, they weren't good for me on P3

For now, just nit pick at EVERY carb until you get back to your balance. I don't think "too much" meat would be a problem in this case.

And yes, do another steak day for now - drink lots of tea and coffee throughout the day and try to cut back with that large steak. Then start leaning out your meats and do a strict P3 for the next days after the steak day. Did you eat yet today? If not, do the steak day today.

I am doing the steak day today. Im going to be way more strict about the cheese/dairy etc and see if that helps. It's my own fault, i know. I had restaurant food yesterday too, and while it was on protocol--i know it's loaded w sodium and im sure that didnt help!

Hi all~ maintaining at my LDW 2 days in a row... I had lots of added butter yesterday, enjoyed GY for breakfast, added in cauliflower and some canned parmesan cheese that I usually only use for Heroin Wings. Will continue to experiment with other veggies today. Maybe zucchini...

I would do at least 12-14-16 ounces. Totally up to you. Just be SURE to drink lots and lots and lots of water today as well!

I am doing a modified CD today. My weight is up for what seems like no reason to me, unless it's a 2-3 day effect LOL.... And I ate way too late last night. Got hungry and had some eggs/cheese/turkey hotdogs/mushrooms, nothing bad, but late. I had more food and more sugar on vacay and am the same weight with not as much fun...

The battle goes to the persistent! Who is going to be more persistent, me or my body!? ME, dammit!

Well, guys I don't know if it's annoying that I'm still hanging out on the p3/p4 thread since I've been in p4 since the 3rd week in May, but hearing what everyone else is learning and getting encouragement here myself is really helping me. So I don't wanna leave:blush:.
I don't want to torment the p3ers either but I feel the need to confess what I just ate-- (and during tom too) who knows what the scale will say tomorrow. I crave the texture of bread--not really the taste ( however that's not bad either ) So I made some muffins. Using Whole wheat flour, flax meal, oats (processed to be kind of like chunky flour), blackstrap molassas, xylitol, cocoa and about 1/3 cup choc chips. WOW, They were awesome. I ate 2 the calorie count says 159 and 10 grams of sugar per muffin, however I guess the sugar count might be halved since I used xylitol. I fed them to all the kids too but I still have 6 of them in there calling me I will be strong. Just hope the scale is kind tomorrow

When I was at goal last summer--115 lbs--and needed a steak day I would have an entire 16 oz steak by myself I would lose weight eating that much meat. So, yes at LEAST a lb is good

143.6 I ate Ben and Jerry's Karamel Sutra (miss you, Peggy!) and a slab of homemade white bread (from SIL) with butter late last night.

That looks pretty good to me as long as the ranch and sausage are sugar-free. It is hard the first few days taking in so many calories... it gets easier!!

Are you out of your window? A correction day is called for if you are above your upper limit of 2 lbs. Dr S says your weight may fluctuate that first week, but you are to keep to 2 lbs above and 2 lbs below. Otherwise a correction day is in order. I guess you went below your LDW while waiting for the P3 to start. Good thing for wiggle room!!

I just had a friend tell me that a mutual friend of ours who had lost a bunch of weight has put it back on and then some. Dang. She was working out a ton and such. I guess I better go tell her about hcg.
