STS this morning for me--151.8. That makes twice this week! I've taken the last couple of days off exercise so I'm ready to jump back on tomorrow. HP7P2 tonight with the girlies.

Have a great weekend everyone.
Offended or disturbed? Not at all! You know many of us live vicariously through you, right? I'm sorry if you misunderstood my post!

Doing a steak day today!!!!!!

Was up 1.4 - not bad, considering all I had.... and not sad or upset that I gained, at all - like I've said before, the MIRACLE is, I can control it! Not that I never gain - (what fairyland would you live in where you didn't gain after a huge indulgence???)

EXACTLY.... but as a formerly obese person, I have to think about it - at this stage, anyway.....

In fact, I PLAN my serious indulgences - and resultant steak days - with ZERO guilt.

We really enjoyed our anniversary supper.

Weight same from yesterday (still UP). Took my weekly inches, and noticed I've lost an inch or so from last week (not a huge diff 301 6/7 to 299 3/4). Normally I don't see reshaping in P3...but maybe I do this time.

Have a great Sunday!

It's almost like we (our bodies) relax after adjusting our LDW to a higher number and many times we eventually return to it. It can drive a person pretty batty otherwise.
You'll figure it out.
This morning, I was looking back over the road I had traveled so far, and noticed a couple of things that I had not recognized before. I was doing fine on P2 except for the very last week. I was doing skip days because I was doing injections so that added 6 days to the round. My body seemed to be fighting the hormone (which is one reason I am going to try the homeopathic version for my next round) and the last week, it was clear to me that I was losing normal fat and muscle, which is not supposed to happen, according to Simeons.

It took about a week on P3 for that subcutaneous fat to come back and the muscle is only now looking normal after 5 weeks on P3 (I never went to P4 because of my trying to see what very low carbs did for my blood sugar.) After reflecting on Shelby's analysis of my data and the realization I had this morning about the normal fat and muscle I had lost, it has occurred to me that it is possible that my LIW was not a proper place for my body to be at that time, and adjusting my LIW to 143.0, as you (apparently) and Shelby suggested makes sense now. It was almost like I overshot at first and then came back up to the more balanced distribution of fat and muscle.

I still have not touched most of the internal belly fat, which was my main goal in doing this -- not only for health reasons, but also because I don't like the way I look. I am curious to see if that will go on Round 2 and if I do better with the homeopathic version of HCG, but won't be able to find out until I actually do the next round.

I do appreciate the suggestions and support from all of you that have offered them and hope to have an easier time on this next round than I did on the first one. I am certainly going to do load differently (low carb) and hopefully the additional support of the other ingredients in the homeopathic formula will help, too. I will start load on Thursday, so I'll find out what happens after that.

I was up again this morning by 0.2 and it was not because of eating too much or the wrong things, so it does seem that my body wants to be around 143.0 right now. Losing weight is a lot of work metabolically speaking, and I am glad to have had this chance to rest and recover so I can be fully ready for the next round of "heavy lifting." (pun intentional)

Thanks to all who have tried to help. it is very much appreciated.

good morning, girls. sitting here in beautiful breckenridge, co.

i didn't bring my scale on vacation. so, not sure where i am weight wise. i am feeling a bit "poofy". food has been LC. except, last night dh and i went out for supper without the kids. had yummo sweet potato fries with my meal. then we shared a sf breve latte and a sour cream doughnut....you know the ones that look a krispy kreme! yeah, it was yummy. that has really been the only blatant carbs i have had, with the odd bite of pizza of crust.

today we are taking the kids the fun park here in town. the food at the park, along with the price of a day pass , is OUTRAGEOUS!! $8+ for a burger or slice of pizza. so we will take all our own food. i had boiled 3 dozen eggs at home to bring on the trip and still have a bunch of those, so will take those. i was thinking of doing just eggs today as a CD. but then remembered we also have apples and cheese cubes. can't decide if i should do apples and cheese today for a CD or the boiled eggs/mayo. what about both?

Morning! Holding at the same...167.6. Had a great steak dinner out last night w/ DH...a very yummy salad saturated w blue cheese, mmmmmm! Sautéed shrooms and juicy steak. My side was green beans but I detected brown sugar or something added so didn't eat much of them.

Everyone have a great Sunday!

I'm on vacation in Cocoa Beach, FL. We drove down from Atlanta, GA yesterday. We left at about 9:30am and got here right at 5:00pm. We will be here for a week so I bought my scale. I weighed 137.4 which puts me back in my window. I had gotten up to 139. I think I gained because I wasn't eating enough real protein or going to the bathroom but both issues have improved now. Let's hope I can stay in my window throughout my vacation.

Well, I'm off to go shopping. Have a great day!

Morning all. I'm up a little today (0.8) but I think this is just normal fluctuation for my body. Still 2.0 under LDW so I'm rollin' with it. No booze this weekend so that definitely helps! Taking my cat to the vet today (always a trauma for me AND her) for her allergy shot--the poor thing just keeps scratching and scratching until she has no fur in spot--then a nice sweaty workout, a few errands, and a massage. A good relaxing day.

Hope everyone's is as nice...

Sounds like a great day. Good luck with the kitty. We have two and know what the doc visits are like. No fun Poor baby. But it'll be quick and she'll forget about it in no time.

Sounds like an amazing day!

Joining you ladies in P3 as of this evening. I am so very excited! Lost 19.6lbs in P2 (30-day round) and I think that's all my body could give, so that's all I could ask. For some reason, I have hovering around the same 1-2lbs on my last 5-6 days of P2. Oh well.

Cheers to P3. I'm looking forward to my cheeses and meats and will keep you all posted

I am down 1.0 for my on-protocol steak day of the 1.4 I gained the day before- following up with a lean day. That's not much of a steak day loss, but it's at least in the right direction. I am still a little out of my window but not freaking out.... heat and exercise may be partially at issue here as I know I am retaining water. At least at this weight, I am somewhat stable within 2-3 pounds. Maybe I should try an ALIW!!!

Up a smidge~ maybe .5... house sitting and didn't weigh until after I had some coffee and the scale said up 1, so I am giving myself a little leeway. Today I have not eaten enough by a long shot, so I am going to have a fat steak with mushrooms and maybe roasted cauliflower.

Hey girls!! you're all doing great!! i'm starting P3 today too!! Had a cobb salad and small cup of french onion soup (picked out the croutons) at Red Robin for lunch. Had a little carbmaster yogurt for bfast, 2 cups of coffee w/ cream too!! Fun so far!!

You're all doing well stabilizing!! KUTGW!!

Shelby-2lbs under sounds great to me!!

Sleepy-happy anniversary!! Enjoy the cake, even though P3 doesn't call for it. You've been in P3 a while, right? CD's will always be there if you need 1.

Marie-bummer - steak days don't work well for me either. GYCD's are the most successful for me, and I like them best too, so I don't mind it. Hopefully I won't need too many this time around!! You're maintaining well!!

Millenia-that stall should help you stabilize since your body is already happy there. That's the consolation prize I tell myself about my stall at least!!

My tummy isn't used to food yet, so I am gonna' go look for digestive enzymes. My poor tummy!!

Julie, I have mixed results with all CD's- steak days, egg days and GY days! Sometimes one or the other appears to work "better" and I have absolutely no idea why. I tend to try the steak day on weekends when I can sleep late and eat early! and then do GY or egg days or all protein days when working. At least I don't freak out like I used to when I go up.

By the way, why do "fluctuations" ALWAYS GO UPWARD! LOL Seems like by definition sometimes it should go DOWN....

well, i didn't hear hear any advice to my CD question (as normal....sometimes i feel like my posts are invisible ) but anyway, i decided on a apple/cheese day. i think i have found my new favorite CD. my tummy isn't quite sure what to think yet...bernice has visited a few times and rather abruptly at that. o.O

having my 3rd set of 2 apples, 2oz of cheese. (first one was only one apple as i didn't know it was supposed to be 2).

too bad i won't know how it yielded weight loss wise...but it could all be canceled out as i got sunburned today. issss owchie!!!!!

Sorry girl! It's not a CD I've done before so I couldn't help.

Now if you want to know about chicken wing CDs...(OK, I made that one up but it tasted great and seemed to work).

Planning the GYCD tomorrow. Yogurt in house and some frozen strawberries too.

paula....i thought about doing a wing CD once.

i will have no way of knowing what the results were from my apple/cheese CD, no scale on vacation. i don't even know if i really needed one, i just did it b/c of how i felt and what i had eaten the last couple days, albeit 97% LC.

ok, since i can't (well, i *could* but not going to as i have family on FB) post this on FB i will complain to you gals. don't you feel fortunate???

i am pathetic....i have a cold sore, i have deep cracks on the balls of both feet, i have a gross toenail on one big toe, i am on the rag, and i am sunburned. woe is me.....

BUT it really has been a fabulous vacation! i just listed all that off to dh and he laughed and triple dog double dared me to make that my FB status.

Oh, I wouldn't put that on FB either, but you know the girls here will enjoy it!
