I was fully prepared for a gain today... My sister and I left the kids and headed out for some shopping and dinner... we consumed a couple bottles of wine, had some beef tartare and brie over fennel and micro greens... sooo good! Then my sister ordered chocolate lavender creme brulee and... I had some. Inexplicably, I am down .6!!

I am still above my window and am moving forward with my chicken CD today... will drink tons of water. Hopefully I can avoid the 2-day effect... we shall see.

Kelli~ congrats on the new jeans!

Red~ Happy loading this weekend!

"Another thought is to alternate homeopathic and RX. Theoretically, that could get you a few shorter rounds in between the longer rest periods with no immunity issues." ~Good idea, Shelby! I've been doing RX for my previous rounds... maybe I'll try homeopathic this time!

Have a good day, everyone!!

I had been looking at each day's data and not seen the pattern until she asked the question that put it all together. I was focused on the individual numbers and didn't have the experience (this is my first round) to realize what might have been going on. I took Simeons very literally because I was afraid to not do so, and he never suggested that this kind of pattern happened AFTER P2. He only said that if one went above LIW by more than 2 pounds, one had to do a steak day immediately.

One comment I remember seeing from someone at some point in time was that people tended to "go by the book" much more tightly in their first round (that's me) and relax a bit more after that. I still tend to worry about every little blip, but would probably take it more in stride after doing more rounds. I really appreciate the perspective provided by people with a lot more experience with this WOE! Thank you for caring enough to say something.
I replied to your post around the 26th suggesting a change.
It's almost like we (our bodies) relax after adjusting our LDW to a higher number and many times we eventually return to it. It can drive a person pretty batty otherwise.
You'll figure it out.

GOOD MORNING to all my wonderful HCG friends!!! Day 1 of Phase 4 starts TODAY!!! I got 3 weeks of it and then I can do my last round...yippee!!! Weighed in at .8 above my LDW. Boy, I tell you...one day of eating a salad, boneless chicken wings, and enjoying a few glasses of wine has been so slow to lose. It's good to know that we can still live life and indulge every once in awhile and still maintain.

On a complete happy random note, I have a new inspiration and goal - for my hubby and I's 2nd anniversary, we are going to do a "trash the dress" type beach photo shoot. Who wouldn't want to do that here in Hawaii??? I'm super excited and I have new motivation to keep up with the phases.

And it does take a fresh pair of eyes sometimes, you really haven't done bad at all!-- you're pretty stable! But I know most of us were used to seeing scale creep for years so it freaks us out even when it can be "normal fluctuation" Terrific that you have gotten to a weight you haven't seen in a while

Right now I'm exhausted thinking about getting ready for vacation-- we homeschool and started school Monday. ARRGG we only had 1 month of summer because of vacations coming up in a few weeks and DD started high school this year so we are busy making sure all the credits are accounted for. Will be doing a lot of cooking before our vacay to have good treats-- the cheesecake recipe someone posted, flax brownies and the like yum.
BTW,I had to buy a new pair of jeans yesterday. The jeans I'd been wearing were 8s about 6 years ago but the bit of lycra in them died and they were stretched to a small 10. So I grabbed an 8 and a 10 in the "fit 1 " style at target (relaxed hip and thigh) both were too big-- I got a 6 Now I realize that it's a definite vanity 6 but still-- Woo hoo.
Wait till your 6s get baggy! I'm having this problem but don't want to buy more till I do one more round--maybe in October

I've eaten most of the roast chicken and I'm still hungry. :/ I have some backup chicken thighs I might eat if I get desperate. I didn't eat all the skin (just the crispy stuff on top). I also used hot wing sauce (legal). Does all of this sound all right??

Hello Everyone! I'm down .2 and am .2 under my LDW. I'm having a real hard time getting down enough food due to lack of appetite, so last night I had a protein shake with half and half, heavy cream and still lost. Yesterday, I ate the same breakfast I had this morning and for yesterday's lunch I had a shrimp salad.

Has anyone gone back to P2 after three weeks of P3? I thought all I need is a three-week break between rounds?

Today, I had three fried eggs, two breakfast sausages, some cream cheese and butter.
Two cups of coffee w/ HWC and for dinner two bowls of my husband's homemade cream of celery soup and some of his guacamole. I still didn't eat that much and am doing my best to stabilize.

Probably too late but yes sounds like you're doing it right--except I would've eaten the thighs first! Eat till satisfied.

Good morning everyone! It has been a few days since I checked in. I am holding steady at the 164's My friend and I went to the dr yesterday. For me, it was a check in. I am on P3 day 47. I hadn't seen him since the end of P2. He was very happy with the difference in me since then. He told me to just keep going on P3. He gave me a vitamin shot (what was mixed in with the HCG injections) to boost my energy again like I had on P2. My friend went with me and is starting her loading tomorrow. I am hoping she will actually sign up here for all of you to support her too. I am excited to see her. She seemed to think she was doomed to be overweight. She now knows even with her medical problems she will lose weight. He told her yesterday that he will stick with her until she does. I am so excited to get the call and texts after it all begins

Happy Friday everyone

To complete a round you do 3 weeks of P3 and THEN 3 weeks of P4. This is all spelled out in Pounds and Inches.

was up a tiny bit -- from 140.6 to 141 but I've been hovering there since right before tom and it's not quite gone yet. Also had my first chat in 4 days with Bernice later this morning so I'm probably still holding steady

Checking in with a loss of 0.4 this morning. Maybe this is carryover from the steak day I did 2 days ago. I'll take it!

I had a very weird experience yesterday that has never happened for me before. I was NOT hungry at any time during the entire day! I ate lunch late and only ate because I thought I "should." I wasn't hungry at all. Because of that and prior experience with gaining weight if I ate too close to bedtime, I didn't eat any dinner. I felt fine and only had normal hunger this morning just before breakfast. I have no idea why this happened. I have been hungry every day except when I did load at the beginning of this round, but I'll take this, too!

Blood sugars are looking good, too, so all in all, today's a good day for me. Hope you all have a good weekend.

Morning everyone and happy Friday!

Well, the IUD thing went ok. Still have a bit of cramping but that may be TOM related. It's better than two nights ago--apparently the pre-placement meds increase that stuff--but the doc said take it easy the next couple of days so I am working from home today, laptop on top of heating pad on top of lap.

Despite cramps, medical procedures, extra normal meds, additional different meds and eating oddly yesterday, I am down 1.2 this morning to land me at my usual Friday 151'something. It really does seem like I gain over the weekend then by Friday it's off again. I haven't really added a whole lot of carbs aside from fruit, mostly because I am really just not in the habit of eating them anymore, but have been having a little sugar here or there if I want it or a bite of potatoes or rice if they are really calling my name. I may try sushi again this weekend if I'm feeling daring but I think a relatively low carb lifestyle is where I am eventually going to land.

Have good one, my peeps!

Sounds like everyone's doing great! I STS.

Checked out my blood pressure this morning while shopping. 110/58. I haven't seen a number like that since I was a teenager! This would also explain why I keep getting dizzy every time I get up/down too quickly.

Burger for lunch, chicken legs for dinner. Having some grape tomatoes with cheese right now...

Oh, duh, second post for today! Oh well!

Hi Everyone! I'm UP three pounds today and did well yesterday. It was very hot here and I spent almost three hours cleaning out our son's closet (furniture, old computer, clothes and toys) that he hasn't used in years so I may have some water retention because of that. We're headed to the coast (we have a family beach house), but regardless - I'm doing a CD today and am following what P & I says.

I may not post until Sunday so if not...have a great weekend everyone.

It's Friday, Friday, Friday!!! Phase 4, Day 2!!! Weighed in the same as yesterday at .8 above my LDW which is a miracle since I was at a going away party last night and they had a potluck and I ate a few no no foods. I swear though that my concoction (sp?) with ACV, lemon, hot water, and cayenne pepper is my miracle drink when ever I go off protocol a little.

My goal in these next 3 weeks of phase 4 is to hit the 20 pound mark...I re-set my goals on here for that so...hopefully it works. Call me crazy but I the new lower daily calorie goal. I felt like I was eating way too much on phase 3.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!!

Weight is steady - but I weighed later, so it might've been a gain-ish....

I went out on a limb today and ate just less than one serving of salt and vinegar potato chips - along with my 2 pieces Ezekiel bread toast. Will try to keep total calories about the same even though carbs are up. Hubby and I watched "FATHEAD," I wanted him to see it for himself. It made an impression for sure.

Hopefully, now he will help me embrace a little less carby lifestyle... I already do, but he still has resisted some - because he's sort of naturally slender although he does gain a little here and there. I'm just concerned about the whole carbs-turn-to-sugar thing because some of his male relatives have gotten diabetes later in life.

OK, we are off to the movies! Going to see Pirates! ARG!

Welp, out at the movies, and had popcorn - and part of a McDonald's Big Mac, and a few fries, and then came home and had some frozen yogurt.

I'm planning a steak day for tomorrow ! YUM YUM!!!

Up 2.4 today...this really bites. Only 1900 calories yesterday...maybe too much sodium?

I am now perfectly in the correct range for my last round (132.8).

Anniversary supper tonight, so no chance of a CD today. Think I'll do yogurt for breakfast and chicken legs for lunch. And plenty of lemon water for good measure. And no cheese today.

Guess it doesn't help that I'm awake so early!

Checking in with a 0.2 gain this morning, but am okay with that. I will start another round at the end of next week, so just hope to more or less maintain where I am until then.

Sorry! People post all the time about medical stuff and it was kinda traumatic for me but I didn't even think that people would be disturbed/offended/bored by it. Sorry again...

STS this morning for me--151.8. That makes twice this week! I've taken the last couple of days off exercise so I'm ready to jump back on tomorrow. HP7P2 tonight with the girlies.

Have a great weekend everyone.

girls!

Back after a week vacay with my family in Oregon! Been holding steady most this week at 167.6!! Still in my LDW window. I did really great all week traveling and having dinners with my family...told them up front I wasn't eating white stuff and sugars...so when they had Chinese I ordered chicken and veggies no sauce. When they had pasta I had a tuna salad. I did have bite of bday cake they got to celebrate me and my brothers bday this month, but I really stayed close to plan and am very proud of myself

Now back to reality...laundry, shopping, etc. At least the house was spotless when I came home

You're doing great!! What's HP7P2? Some type of exercise class? Hope your cramping subsides today and glad it all went well .

Paula-hugs to you. You'll be back down again soon. Enjoy tonight!

Amy-that's wonderful!! Quite an accomplishment!! Vaca is hard!!

Sounds like you're all maintaining really well!! I will officially start P3 tomorrow, but am ramping up today . I have been stalled for the last week around my LDW so I'd better stabilize pretty easily here . We'll see I guess. Not going to eat out much which should help.
