Well sorta I decided 2 rounds ago that loading seemed counterproductive.....so decided not to. I'm trying to limit cals to 1000 or under hopefully a lot under. Today has been very tough mostly a wash. Restart tommorrow.

That makes sense, so you didn' load, but the extra pounds? I guess it's only the start. waiting for your body reacting the the hCG finally then we'll get the results you are looking for.
I told my friend about the Noodler and how it works and she seemed impressed. I'll have to show it off in person one day. |

Thank you for the referral! Yeah, adding more pounds and fat at the beginning of a weight loss program seems nuts to me just more ground to cover. I've been taking some medication that tends to make me retain water, also my cals are higher than I like. Yesterday went nuts in the morning craved fat and ate it!
I have a new food to attack the calories with, EGG DROP SOUP. Two quarts of soup only have 1 egg in them and a little green onion, chicken broth, and spices......almost free. Day 5 W 308.4 ? Down 1 Cals 1800 74% 24% 2% good ratios mayo did it......Bad cals (mayo did it)..... Bad cals go stand in the corner! Last edited by fozzie99; 04-27-2012 at 03:15 AM.. |

Oh, I've never been able to get my homemade soup to flower properly. I end up egg-lump soup. LOL But that's a great idea.
I got some discount meat and I'm gonna slice up some of the beef to marinate, and roast the small pork loin and the small pork roast for later. I'm gonna ramp up my noodle making and try to keep a plan in mind. I can't make up my mind. I'd rather crave fat than crave carbs, cause the fats are fun and yummy and carbs usually make me feel bad if they aren't the "right" ones I'm craving. That doesn't make sense.... If I crave fat, almost any fat will do. If I crave carb, It has to be what I'm craving, or I'll feel bad and still have craving. I think it might be mineral vitamin craving actually sometimes. 1 pound down is a start! Bad Mayo! My mayo doesnt taste good to me anymore, maybe It's not the right fat. I've heard of bacon mayo. I'm gonna use this macadamia nut oil I bought and forgot why to make some mayo with added bacon fat and coconut oil maybe.

If you do a search on egg drop soup I posted an EASY way to get it to come out every time. Be careful with the pork loin it's VERRRRRRY lean. I know what you mean about the fat....I eat the pork fat off the bottom of the roast and the bacon grease off the cold plate.....never used to want to do that before!!

Thanks and Thanks for the warning for the loin. unfortunately it's even marketed as very lean, but it was on Manager's Special Markdown. I wonder if I can slice it up and fry it in coconut oil like pork patties?
I'm gonna search for your egg drop method. I remember it being called Egg flower soup and when I make it, it's more like egg drop and clump. |

I just finished a big bowl. I need to tweak the spices in the stock. It always amazes me how far 1 egg goes in egg drop soup. I make about 2 quarts at a time and 2 eggs is really to many. When you cook the loin watch it closely and leave it pink in the middle.

Oh, Of course. I learned this by accident when cooking chicken breast. I let it get too done and by the time I took it off heat, the center had dried out. when I let it get almost done, the residual heat cooked the center without drying it out. Makes sense that it would work the same for lean pork.
I found the egg drop thread, I'm gonna have to see if I can find that meat injector thing again in the store. I could've had one for clearance but couldn't imagine using it much since I dont usually cook large cuts of meat. |

The meat injector is good for injecting stuff into PORK. The ED soup recipe might need tweaking on the amount of gluc powder depending on what brand you use.

So you think the other gluc powder has more carbs and is messing up your ratios?
When I order again I'll make sure to order the same brand since you say they act differently. Hope you correct this glitch soon. You should be losing so fast on such few calories. ![]() |

The HV gluc powder isn't as pure a product as Konjac foods......You can easily tell when using it.
My calories aren't as low as I want but I should be losing. I'm going to order more Konjac foods Gluc from Netrition. Last edited by fozzie99; 04-28-2012 at 08:54 AM.. |

Hey Fozzie, I found a recipe for Kimchi soup that calls for Pork Belly. I assume pork belly is probably really fatty. The recipe has the meat and kimchi boiled for 25 minutes. What do you think, If I cut up that lean pork loin, maybe I could use it instead of Pork belly but maybe add it later in the simmering ingredients so it doesn't over cook since it doesn't have any fat to buffer the cooking?

It would work but you won't get the pork flavor......you need the fat. If you trim the fat layer and some meat from a butt it would be super close to belly and much cheaper. Pork belly has become a "designer" food......the "in thing" in some upscale resturants and you pay for it..

That is SO Strange Fozzie. Why is it not working now? You are doing the same thing as before and it worked wonderfully.
Okay, so you know the HCG is in your blood, so it will still affect you, Do you want me to send you some of my Konjac Powder? How long till your Net order arrives? This is so unusual. ![]() |

I don't in my gut think it's the HCG. I've been almost exclusively on HV Gluc powder....alot of it. I think the carbs are doing it.
I'm going to EFGT meals with nearly no Carbs. prob. a little to much protein. Last edited by fozzie99; 04-29-2012 at 08:56 AM.. |

Besides the simple weight of the noodles from water, it shouldn't interfere with loss, if it is truly carb free as it should be.
Fozzie, We're all rooting for you! |

I really appreciate that.........I sometimes feel very alone and get very down when I'm not doing well with my losses......It's my new hobby and main focus outside of work and family. I think about what I need to do to lose and also eat clean constantly.
