How much does you hunger return on P3?

Just wondering how hungry I'm going to be when I transition into P3. Do the 2-3 VLC days without pellets feel different?

I just transitioned to P3. My first day off pellets was fine, second day I was pretty hungry, third day...very hungry and on the edge of cheating (and looking back...I didn't consume my normal amount of water).

Now I've heard that w/ pellets, you only have to do 2 days of VLC before moving into P3. I've found conflicting info out there, so I figured, what's one more day and did the 3.

Today is my first P3 day and I'm so glad yesterday is over!!

Yeah, I'm only doing 2 days--I wanted to get every last day in with my pellets before I have to go away on Thursday! So what does you menu look like today Amy?

If you start to get hungry, increase your protein a little bit. I did this and didn't have any hunger. The first day, I had an extra ounce with dinner. The second day, and extra ounce with lunch AND dinner. Your body is coming out of a serious protein deficit so a lot of people do this to help that and decrease hunger.

For breakfast I had an iced Americano w/ HWC, and eggs, crumbled bacon, and a bit of cheese.

For lunch I'm planning on a chicken breast with skin and a salad with real dressing

Dinner is undecided yet...DD has swim lessons, DS has a doc appt, and I have my WI at WW I still go to tonite.

Nicole, I took the intermountain drops, but for me, VLC+no HCG=a grouchy girl!

Today was my first day w/o drops, and I felt ok hunger-wise, but my energy was way low and I had a difficult time focusing on work. (Which is to be expected when you are eating so few calories!)

What I did was this: for breakfast, instead of eating my typical serving of strawberries, I ate four egg whites scrambled. I also eliminated my melba toast serving, and had 1 oz of chicken breast as a snack. (I also ate my apple). For lunch, I had a normal protein serving w/ a tomato. For dinner I went a bit rogue and had romain lettuce salad w/ 3.5 oz grilled chicken + 5 grape tomatoes and the tiniest bit of cucumber. My calories came in at 496.

Tomorrow, I will up my protein a little bit more, but on Thursday, it is "hwc, here I come!"

Overall, I made sure I was drinking lots of water and I DID have to have an extra serving of coffee in the afternoon. That helped. It also helped when I remembered to take my B vitamins. After that, I felt much better. Still, I am looking forward to Thursday!

Day one of VLC without the pellets and I am here to tell you that your hunger DOES return!!! It wasn't too bad until the afternoon and now I feel like I want to eat everything in site (mostly healthy protein though). I started getting a headache so I ate a few extra cooked shrimp I had in the fridge but I've already eaten 375 cals today (without dinner) and I am really hungry!

Can't imagine what tomorrow will be like...and I have to be on a plane to CA tomorrow night for 6 hours!

For me the mental hunger was there but I really had no deire to eat because I was very tired and to be honest sick of the food I'd been eating for the prior 35 days. On the very last day I ate a scrambled egg instead of my normal roast beef. I would say I was ready to have real food.

Tips would be up your protein on the last day. You wont lose weight that day but you will have more energy. Get lots of sleep and drink lots of water.

Oh ya and in p3 you will feel more satisfied with less food. The unsatiable hunger that I felt from white foods before hcg is not there at all.

this

im in p3/p4 and my appetite is almost nonexistent - i literally have to force myself to make my calories or i gain weight. BUT if i have pasta, even just a bit, i am ravenous.
