2 lb loss this morning!! Now I'm only 1/2 lb off of where I was on Saturday morning, and if I stick to plan today I'm sure that will be gone by the morning! whew... I was stressing out a bit yesterday, seeing that scale go up just makes me want to quit.. but I'm sure glad I didn't. Just a little closer to Onederland!!

Thanks! I think that I want to finish out this week and get a little below 199. That is a slippery number, KWIM? 1 pound away from 200 seems too close for comfort. I am on pellets, so I think it will be OK. I am still wavering on the decision... If I call it today, 199 is my LDW.

Well let me ask you this. If I make it to 120 this round, that will be a loss of 35 pounds. Dr. S. says to lose not more than 34 pounds in a round.

If I take a "break" and then lose 5 more pounds, that will be 40 pounds lost. Is it a bad idea to do less than 14 days on P3 and then come back for 5 more pounds in the same round (since it is just a break in the round)?

Oh, I had not thought of that. Yes, he does have that added in to his protocol. Maybe a full break then. That just might be best...that way you can be sure to KEEP off all that weight.

I took 3 short rounds (generally 21 days) to get from my start weight til my goal weight, so the fact that you have lost so much in one round is great!!! I took 15 lbs off at a time.

Depends on what round you are talking about My first round I waited the 6 weeks. I did 3 weeks of P3 and 3 of P4. Round 1 was my best round ever!! Then round 2 was called the round from hell. I broke at 21 days just so I wouldn't feel so hungry 24/7. Going from hungry 24/7 to full 24/7 on P3 was incredible. Then after that break I went back to P2 for I don't know how long to lose that 15 pounds and stopped. Took the full break for P3 and P4. From then on, I don't remember. I have been doing the hcg for 2 years now.

Actually I think that only applies to RX injections, right?? So you can lose more than 35 in a round with HHCG, which it looks like you are using! My mom lost 50 in one round, and my hubby was over 40!!

I thought that the 34 pounds max was to give the body a chance to rest and the skin to catch up. If I can lose more than I will probably go for it. I am really content in P2.

Me too!!

I weighed in today at 214.. Actually the first time on the scale said 214, then I weighed again and the second time said 213.5.. but I'm going to stick with the 214 for today. So I'm down exactly 1 lb so far this week. That sucks.. Just goes to prove that "cheating" isn't worth it!!

Well, it might be the case, or in the case of RX injections, it was also immunity. But my hubby did well, so I guess its up to you of course. If it were me, and I were on a roll, and not feeling hungry and still losing well, I would not break the cycle, but I have a heck of a time in P2, so I say, each to their own!! If you feel you would be better served to stop and rest, then thats a great idea too!!

Down a teenie tiny .3 to 130.5. I was really hoping to see 129 this morning. Oh well, there's always tomorrow.

I went online last night and ordered a size 6 jean skirt from Levis. I am swimming in the size 8 levi's jean skirt I have!

Good morning all... Decided to make yesterday the end of my first round. Today is the first day with no Hcg... feeling a bit nervous as I leave the safety of P2. I am going to have my first real meal Friday night (50 hours after my last dose) which happens to be at a Brazilian restaurant. Already checked the menu. I am having sirloin kebabs and vegetables, so it isn't like I am going off the deep end. I may have a glass of wine, too  Probably get blasted from it!
Down .5 today. I guess my LDW is going to be 199, but if I lose a little more on these last 2 VLC days is that considered a cushion, so my range could be 3 or 4 pounds instead of 2???

Here are some tips if you are dining at you Brazillian place...

Breakfast and lunch eat protein and dairy, make it light and you should be okay for dinner. eg. two eggs bacon lunch cheese and sausage?
You can do this dont be afraid.
and of course no sugar no starch.

and yes what you lose now will be your cushion.

Thanks! Hopefully it will be a couple more pounds...
Funny, I am already feeling hungrier than usual. Psyching myself out or could the Hch levels be dropping already?

I wasn't going to post anymore because I have started and stopped so many times in the last month and a half it's embarrassing. I can blame it on a lot of things(broken wrist, surgery, pain pills, stress) but I know they're just excuses to allow myself to fail.

I am happy to report that I have made it through day 4 and am 6 lbs down including the 3 I gained loading. I am mainly sticking to protocol but I am eating off the OWL list for fruits and veggies for more of a variety.

I go on vacation in 3 weeks so will need to be on P3 by August 19th. Right now I am 153.6(11 lbs over last rounds LDW) and want to be 140 by the end of this round. I am doing some exercise in the form of walking(very restricted with a broken wrist to do much else) every evening and hope to continue with it through my entire P2.

So anyway, I'm back to get some support and to give some support and to hopefully get this weight off once and for all.

Quick question: I have been measuring my meals by daily calories, not by meat grams. Is this wrong? For example, I have never been able to eat apples because they always made me so hungry afterwards. I'm also not eating the melba toast because I've been doing low carb/high fat for so long, I just can't justify it. So mainly I'm eating meat. I'm also training for a marathon. So what I have been doing is eating 250 calories of meat a couple of hours before my runs, a carb/fat free protein shake immediately after my run, and 250 calories of meat later on. But that 250 calories usually comes out to much more than 100 grams. I guess it doesn't matter much at this point, I'm thrilled with my weight loss so far. I'm just wondering if anyone else just eats to their daily calorie limit as opposed to meat grams.

In my not-at-all-expert opinion, the 500 calorie limit is the most important thing by far. I doubt that it matters how you achieve that, as long as it's not sugar and starch. Lots of people around here say they never eat the fruit or the breadstick, so they must all be eating most of their calories in their protein allotment, too. Really, for someone who is training, it makes a lot of sense to eat more protein than anything else!

Just my two cents--no expert, obviously!

So anyway, I'm back to get some support and to give some support and to hopefully get this weight off once and for all.
back! You CAN do it! Great job so far - I think you'll definitely be able to hit your goal!

Almost forgot to tell you about my weigh in I had a wonderful 3 pound woosh this morning I was shocked. I kept moving my scale and re-weighing thinking the batteries must be going bad or something But it was the same every time. I really needed that motivation to keep going strong. One more week, one more week, one more week...
