I didn't get lunch at all today, and I had a late dinner. But it was only poached salmon and salad with one hb egg, a little cheese, and a few olives. Oh, also I deep-fried some firm tofu in coconut oil since I had read "somewhere" that now I can't find that you can deep-fry tofu to make a kind of chip. Welp, it didn't work, don't know what I did wrong. But it was ok to eat anyways. Just only got crispy on the edges. Maybe next time I'll deep-fry and then bake it? I don't know if I can find the recipe again.

Ugh. I ordered a small sugar-free breve today while running errands... got to the end and it seemed a bit too sweet. I don't think she gave me sugar-free syrup... we'll see what the scale says tomorrow.

I was down a # this morning. I'm still just barely out of my window- not worried, though as I'm exercising and enjoying P3-- extended if necessary. Eggs for breakfast, cobb salad for lunch, small steak and blue cheese for dinner, and some pinot. Mmmmmm. I'm still debating doing another round in September... I'd like to get in the low 150s, or even my GOAL WEIGHT!!! P2 is so unappealing though, when my pinot tastes so divine!!

Um Not complaining , but confused . I'm down 1.4 lbs this morning from my ALDW! I had a little lighter breakfast yesterday because Instead of two cups of coffee with HWC I had 4, and I use at least 2 tbs, probably more per cup. I knew my dad was making "white spaghetti" for dinner when I went to pick up dd so I just snacked for lunch, some cherries, apple and pb. Then I had two helpings of "white spahetti" it's noodles, sour cream, cream of chicken, lots of cheese and some diced chicken. My dd and her grandpa had also made cookies and I shared one with my sister. I went light on lunch because of the pasta for dinner. Do you think that just brought my overall calories too low?

Hopefully it was SF and you just couldn't tell the difference. That actually happened with dd and I at Starbucks, I even went back and asked the girl if she was sure it was SF

Checking in with a loss of 0.6 today and still too much above my window, so will do another steak day today. Hopefully this will be the last one I need to do for this round and can just get ready for Round 2.

Morning - haven't been here much lately.
Miss ya'll!

Checking in at the top of my window - again.
I went about 6 weeks with no issues what-so-ever.
Then I started messing with it and I've been bumping around ever since.

My cycle is off - (also unusual) - I figured that was it - but it did not come.
Not preggers - unless it's miraculous. And due to my glaring dis-qualifiers for THAT job- maybe I'll just assume it's hormones or I messed things up with my fasting day.

Either way - I need coffee before I can think. :-)

Morning all. Welp, inflammation down, food back in order (despite eating out yesterday for lunch--steak and gorgonzola salad--mmmm), down 2 pounds today. I think my body just normally bounces around. While many people see the 0.2's and 0.4's and 0.6's as "unstable", if my weight moves by less than a pound a day I am happy. It sure is teaching me to get nonchalant about all this scale business... Wait...THERE'S the silver lining...

Jeans day at work today--yay!

Good morning,

I'm surprisingly down .5 lbs this am from my "lean" low carb day aka meaty day. I had coffee with cream, 2 eggs sausage cheese and dinner was hot wings with blue cheese. Steak daying it today. Hopefully my last before Saturday which will be my first load day. Please weight fairies, make 5 lbs go away. I promise I will be a good girl my whole p2.

good morning!

140.4 today. (LDW 138.6)

that is so encouraging, mostly b/c yesterday i simply ate without tracking, eating what i felt like....including my most favorite brand of PB . i ate right out the container with a spoon and maintained control of portions!! i could have eaten the whole container, easily. but i had a few bites and put it away. huge accomplishment. then there was my biggish supper last night that included starch and even a couple bites of ice cream. so, yeah...feeling good this morning.

i know that the scale being down a bit is NOT a license to eat how much of whatever, so will continue to work on appropriate portions. this is where i have always struggled in my weight loss journeys....portions.

re the breve latte....sometimes i ask for less sweetener than they normally use, b/c i think they use too much...i just bet she used more than you're used to? love me a sf caramel breve latte, though!! dh and i share them when we go out.

Morning guys--well-my GY correction day netted me a 1lb loss. I am still over my LDW by 3lbs, though. I really screwed up my transition into P3 this round by going out over the weekend, and now i am paying for it. Im going to try the "lean" P3 day today (meats and a lil cheese), as suggested by C'Marie, and see what happens, then if needed, do another steak day on Friday. If my weight dosnt go down by then i guess i will just adjust my LDW to this # and be done with it.

I think our tastes definitely become more sensistive to sweet things after P2. I hadn't had a diet pepsi forever and it tasted waaaaay too sweet for me. I can't even drink a whole can/bottle anymore...just a few sips does it for me!

***********

I am still holding at 167.4. Still got the nasty bloat, and on top of that I haven't done any bizness since....Monday...I think. I meant to take some Smooth Move last night but forgot, and I can't take it tonite as I'll be on a 12-hr drive tomorrow bright and early. I'll be stopping more than the kids

Why is it though that I feel like I'm up 5 pounds instead of 1! I feel like I'm back into the 170's right now...ugh!

I'm up, so I'm pretty sure it was real sugar. Oh well... I'm not that upset. We are going out of town again on a vacation with my husband's family. We will be camping, hiking, swimming... hopefully I can get a few runs in there and drink lots of water and get back down. Next weekend I'm going out of town with my family (again). 3 week ends in a row out of town... fun, but my house is paying for it!!

Well after being down1.4 lbs from my ALDW yesterday, I'm up to "normal" today, felt like I was starving yesterday so I had a sizable lunch and dinner. Pretty sure the starving bit is hormones I tend to get in bed and about 10:30 I start thinking about how Wendy's is open til 11--arrrggg. I have soooo been craving red meat since the end of p2.

Good Friday morning! Woooo hoooo almost the weekend

Well Auntie Flo is creeping out the door, so I am back to my solid 166 after bouncing a pound or so around for the week. Buh-bye Auntie!!! I am so excited that a great friend of mine is going to go to my doctor (hopefully next Thurs if there is an appt left) to start HCG. You all have helped me inspire her. I gave her the link to this site a few days agao. She has a long journey but WILL make it.

Checking in with a 0.6 loss this morning after a steak day, which puts me right at the top of my window, so am going to take it slow and easy today and see what the scale shows tomorrow. I had a blood sugar reading of 100 twice yesterday and my fasting level this morning was only 114, which is great progress so far, but how it will be after eating a normal P3 day remains to be seen.

It does seem like the second steak day had less of an effect than the first one did, so I hope this will be the last one I have to do before Round 2.

On other matters, I saw a post in the LCF Newcomer's thread where someone said they had lost 60 lbs on HCG and was switching over to EFGT because they didn't think HCG was "real." I interpreted that to mean that they thought they had lost that much weight just because of the low-cal diet, not because the hormone did anything. I took a look at the EFGT thread and I have already been eating within those guidelines on P3 and not lost any weight. I have also been eating well within the guidelines for Atkins induction and been in ketosis every single day, but I still have not lost weight by eating according to any of those approaches. I can't think of anything else except HCG that would budge this fat and am really looking forward to my next round of P2 and the next chunk of fat to go.

I continue to go through reshaping. My upper arms were all lumpy when I ended P2 and now they are smooth and round again. My waist and belly seem a bit smaller, based on how my clothes are fitting, but I haven't measured since ending P2. The numbers that seem to mean the most to me right now are the ones I measure every day: my weight, my ketones, and my blood sugar readings, especially the latter. If my second round does at least as much as my first one did, I will happily need new clothes this fall! My present ones are the only "smaller" sizes I had kept.

just going to do meat/eggs today. ate out last night which bumped me just outside window. nothing horrible. feel like simple anyhow. plus am eating out twice tomorrow.

if you could keep my mama in your thoughts tomorrow, i'd appreciate it. tomorrow is (would have been) her and dad's 40th anniversary. it's the first anniversary since we lost him last sept. she's doing pretty good, but days like tomorrow are tough, naturally. so she, my sister and i are going to do what we usually do when these "firsts" without dad come up. we go to the city, hang out, go out to eat, go to a movie...just be together. so....i would covet your thoughts and prayers for her. thank you.

Aw Dazy that's so difficult sometimes, I will absolutely keep your mom and family in my thoughts. One thing that has helped me through times like that is a book called Life on the other side" by Sylvia Browne. Take a look at it, it made me feel better.

I'm down another 2.2 from last nights steak day so that makes a total of four pounds down on my two steak days this week. I will go pick up my hcg at the pharmacy today after work, and loading starts tonight thru the weekend. I'm excited to get started.

No, I did a "lean" day in between... stuck to meats and cheeses. I can't even remember what I ate but I posted it in here somewhere... eggs sausage cheese, coffee and chicken wings lol. Too taxing to do two steak days in a row. I lost .2 on my lean day which really made me happy. Most of the time when I have coffee and bacon in the morning it holds me until dinner.
