Down .4 to 189.0 this morning. I'm excited to get through these 180's to the 170's! I started at 202.2 and my goal for this first round is 177.2. I'm hoping I can do it in the next 20 days. I'm feeling great on this Monday morning. Hope you all wake up feeling happy!

(Has anyone ever told you you look like Mary Louise Parker? )Today's Day 3 for me. Lost 1.6 this morning for a total of 4.6. I'm very happy with it! I'm a little worried about the hunger, though...I'm hungrier than I expected to be...I'm hoping it gets better after the first few days??? ![]() |

Ending my round at 332.8. That's -17.1. Had a few bumps in the road with some stressful situations in the last week or so. But a loss is a loss is a loss. And I'll take it. Not sure about doing another round this year or not. Had originally planned another round in September. We'll see.

I'm down .7 this morning. It's weird to see that odd number but I'm using a different scale that measures to the 10th of a lb now.
I seem to have more hcg left than I expected since I did a lower dose this round so I may be dosing until Wednesday. I'm torn between being ready for P3 and staying in P2 until the hcg runs out. It seems such a waste to throw it away but I'm supposed to attend a baby shower for a co-worker this Saturday so Wednesday has to be my last dose to be in P3 on Saturday. I may just pass on the baby shower and try to get as close as possible to my goal before I go on vacation in two weeks. We'll see how I feel on Wednesday and how much hcg I have left. WHEW. FINALLY!
I finally broke through 150.5 to 148.5!!!!! First I am going to do a little happy dance to celebrate, because it was a LONG weekend!!!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() :kick ing: (I realize these little guys are actually kicking, but all together they kind of look like they are dancing! Now, I need to reflect on a few things. It took me a full week to recover from my weekend camping trip. It is what it is, and I can never know how my losses would have fared this past week if I had NOT gone camping, so there is no point dwelling upon it. However, I DO need to acknowledge the fact that LOSING the weight does not mean that it is gone forever. If I don't change behaviors, it will come back--and fast. The weight is waiting right around the corner ready to hop back on my ass at the first opportunity. It is a sobering thought, but an interesting one. It means that I need to change my mindset from 21 day increments to lifelong changes. Hmmmm.....That will be a strong personal focus for me during P3. Now, about P3. Today is technically VLCD21--if you include my weekend of gluttony. I was considering extending this round to Friday to offset that weekend, but I don't have enough drops for a full five days, and I don't think it would be a good idea to reduce my dosage by enough to stretch it out. (I think I would feel like I do when I do the 500 calories w/o the drops during the transition to P3). So, I will stay on P2 until the drops run out--probably tomorrow, MAYBE Wednesday. I will see where I end up then. I have to accept that I will NOT reach my goal for this round--140 originally, now 145. In fact, I might not even get to my LDW for R2 (145.5). However, my measurements are the same as they were at the end of R2, so that is significant. I am very satisfied learning to maintain at this weight. Ah. So, there is my novel for the morning...! Oh ya know... LOL, bouncing all over the place!! I am really just hanging steady at this horrid weight of the upper 150s!!! Not really losing it and binging (very good thing) but not really losing either. I am exercising all the time still and feeling healthy, but not "moving" if you know what I mean.
I just started the shots again on Saturday again, but did not load, just add low cal, low fat, etc... and plan to try to stay around 800-1000 and see what comes.... I cannot give up exercise and I cannot function on 500 calories with exercise, so this is the best plan at least. I feel better that I am not binging at least, which I was doing every couple of days for several weeks it seems, and am now steady and not craving carbs excessively, etc. So I am even steven and hopefully i will regain my footing soon... But I am still reading and joining and hopefully this week will be a good one for moving back down instead of holding on!! But I am quite happy for you. I know how frustrated you were, been there, done that, and I blew it all to hell and did the wrong things, so glad you are "getting a grip" beforehand!!

I was "bad" yesterday and ended up having another P3 day (1600 calories). I paid for it with another 1.2 gain for a total of 2.4 to work off!
I just have 7 days till LDW, and 9 vlcd's left. I CAN DO THIS WITHOUT CHEATING! (shouting intended!). I so hope I relose this so quick and get to see a number in the 120s...but that's 4 pounds now. |

2 more weeks left for me on P2. Woke up to a 1.2 lbs loss. Hoping for a better week this week. Question about P3 for those of you that have successfully completed it. For the first day or 2 do I need to eat kind of light, or regular sized P3 meals?

You crack me up!!! I should get that tattooed to my wrist or something...Nah, maybe a bracelet instead! Ha! I indulged in one of those Reese's blizzard/shake things at Sonic when I was in Texas in June...OH MY GOSH. (Because hey, when you are in Texas, you eat Sonic!) It was wonderful. I did feel sick afterwards, but it was yummy while eating it. I just need to focus on how I feel AFTER I eat stuff like that!

LOL have you read Lindy's thread on P3?? Phase 3 information for HCG diet some good info ther and Linda Sue's site has great recipes ! thee ones marked with an * are good for induction and so that means most of them are good on p3 Linda's Low Carb Menus & Recipes - Home i will look through my P3 notebook tomorrow and if i can think of more hints i know you will do great ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() oh another thing figure your BMI now(i do not count calories on p3 but some do) and eat to that you will be surprised how much you can eat on P3 and NOT GAIN! and get ready for some reshaping! if you have some days of gains check to make sure you are eating enough(sounds crazy doesn't it? ) sometimes on p3 if we do not eat enough we will have a gain LOL

Down another .8 this morning. I'm still thinking about continuing until my hcg runs out but it looks like I have enough to last until Friday. To make matters worse, not only do I have a baby shower on Saturday but my DH and I have tickets to go to the Atlanta Braves game Saturday night and I really don't want to be doing VLCD for that. I'll talk to my DH to see what he thinks.
