VLCD24 and up .4. Not sure what's going on but I suspect it has something to do with bernice being MIA. Oh well. I'm still in the 135 range so hopefully tomorrow will be better. It seems like my hcg is increasing.
Every time I fill the syringe each morning the amount in the vial doesn't seem to be going down. I was hoping tomorrow would be my last dose but it looks like there's still a few more days worth of injections left in that vial. I guess we'll see tomorrow.Have a great day!

Hey there, I am new but completely agree with the statement of the weight is waiting just around the corner! Congrats also on breaking 150. I too am just breaking it but teetering back and forth between 150 and 149. I had a question though what drops are you taking about??.
Thanks, Amanda |

I'm not sure why but I'm starving right now. I think I'm done. This morning was my last dose. Maybe I can get some cushion below my LDW over the next couple of VLCDs. Either way, Sunday morning will be the start of P3 for me. Hello bacon & HWC!

Evening, ladies!!
Day one of P3 was super great--I love these first few days where you FEEL like you are eating like a pig, but really, you are totally eating under 2000 calories.... Today is my oldest daughter's 9th birthday, and we went to this great local restaurant called Lucille's. (I mentioned it earlier). They have this great egg scramble that comes w/ onions, green peppers, sausage, cheese, avocado, tomatoes, and...wait for it....potatoes ![]() ![]() ! It is my favorite dish there, but I did SOOO good and ordered it w/o the potatoes. You know what? I didn't even miss the potatoes one bit. The only thing I did miss was the buttery homemade biscuit that is twice the size of my hand...SIGH....but I was good, and brought it home for my husband. I figure he plays golf, runs, AND goes to the gym...he can handle it! Ha! The rest of the day was totally protocol P3 foods--cottage cheese and berries, salad w/ grilled chicken, tomatoes, mozzarella, balsamic vinegar and olive oil, apple for snack, steak with roasted zucchini and steamed green beans w/ garlic butter for dinner....wowsa, it was tasty. I kept looking for the food police over my shoulder! Ha! Tonight I even made cupcakes for my daughter's slumber party tomorrow night--and I didn't lick one beater or drip. (Insert karate kick here!) All of this indulgence came in at 1788 calories, according to ******. I have to admit, I am anxious thinking about the scale tomorrow. But I know that I have been following the rules, so I will be FINE. I know I probably should be posting this on the P3 thread, and I probably will cut and paste it over there...but I'm kinda particular to my firecracker girls!! So, for those of you who will be joining Deb and I soon (Raven!) Yay for you! For ya'll who are beating the scale and losing some pounds, I am SO proud of you for sticking it out through the tough days! And for my sisters who are fightin' their way through a stall, please, please remember that the darn stall WILL end! hugs and love- Kay

Good Morning! I'm down .2 and decided (for the umpteenth time) that yesterday was the last day of my round and today and tomorrow will be the two days on the 500-calorie plan without the hcg. I was going to go until next week, but it's time to move on. I think 49 days is a great round especially because I didn't experience any hunger. Besides, the sooner I move into P3, the sooner I can begin my loading days and my next round.
I'm wondering how much I'll be able to eat. My appetite has been so suppressed on this journey. Oh well, I'm sure it will all work out. Onward and downward. Have a great day everyone! ![]()

R1D7: Down .2. I guess this is where it starts to slow a bit.
Yesterday's hunger was much better than Wednesday, when I felt like I could skin & eat the cat, but I was still hungry pretty much all day. It didn't help that my DD decided to make french toast (!!!) at 3pm. So I sat here at my computer, ignoring her, sipping my yerba mate green tea, pretending like I couldn't smell the wondrous odors pervading my house. Hmph. So I'm hoping today's hunger is better still...I figure if the losses are going to start slowing now, then the hunger should decrease too, right? right?? Violet and Raven - I'm dreaming of P3 already!! Have a piece of bacon for me!! Kay - what an awesome P3 day! That restaurant sounds fantastic. Don't know that I could have skipped the biscuit. I'm a sucker for a good biscuit... Everyone - have a great day, and remember, it's FRIDAY!!! <insert annoying Rebecca Black song here> |

I am so excited I'm down 1.2 and into the 120s. For whatever reason, I've been losing like gangbusters this week. Monday should be my last day...hope I lose a bit more. I would like my maintenance window to totally be in the 120s and not to see the 130s again.
Kay Your first P3 day sounded delicious, and Happy Bday to your DD! So looking forward to fatty foods again! |

Down .3 from the .4 I gained yesterday. I did not do an injection this morning so it has been a little over 24 hours since my last injection. 48 more hours to go until P3 and Sunday morning breakfast. I think my DH is excited too since it's been about a month since I've cooked Sunday breakfast for him.
![]() Kay, wow your first day of P3 sounds devine! The egg scramble sounds amazing even without the potatoes. Violet Dream, great job on sticking out such a long round. It looks like we'll both be eating P3 style breakfast on Sunday.Desifink, I know it's a little disappointing to see the losses slow down but you're still going in the right direction so good job. Paulabob, whoohoo for the 120's. You go girl!Have a great day everyone! |

Zero down again today. This is the third day in a row for me.
![]() ![]() There's got to be a whoosh coming! If it doesn't come by Sunday I am going to plan on doing an apple day. I keep reminding myself that I have lost 20.8 lbs in the last 29 days. Considering I lost ZERO the last two months I was on Atkins (Induction no less) and as Corey (Balance) poined out awhile ago...eating 500 calories means the weight has to come off eventually, we just have to stick with it. ![]() I am disappointed, but I am keeping my eye on the prize!!!! Hugs to everyone!!! ![]() ![]() |

Wow, I'm sorry Balance.
Bernice issues maybe? Did you drink enough water? I gained yesterday and most of it came right back off today so I think it was a combination of both for me although Bernice is still MIA at the moment. It will be better tomorrow. |

Thanks ladies. I'm feeling a little better. I think it's a combination of all of the above: lack of bernice, not enough water, and 2 weeks before TOM, which is usually when I retain water. I have to fess up though, hubby requested macaroni salad yesterday so I made him a big bowl and tasted like 2 or 3 times to see if the spices were ok. I didn't think it would make a difference. My calories were still right at 500 calories. (I counted it as a tablespoon of mac salad on ******.) I also dipped my finger into lemon icing because I made lemon poppyseed muffins for hubby to bring to work this morning. I don't know if anything that small can cause a 1 pound gain or if it was bad timing.
Anyways, hugs to everyone and thanks for the support. It means so much. ![]()

Wake up firecrackers!
I woke at 5:30...hate that on a Saturday. No surprise the scale stayed the same....that's okay, I've had 4 days of losses and shouldn't be greedy. I must power thru this weekend and stay strong. Hopefully no ovulation or hormonal hunger to deal with. Planning on ending Monday. The bottle of pellets is almost empty, I hope I have enough! Pretty sure I'm going back to drops for the next round. I just prefer it for the appetite suppression. I have a feeling the sweet taste of the pellets might mess with my head a bit.

I have never tried pellets, but I love my drops. I stocked up on a second bottle for the next couple rounds. At the moment, I am planning on doing 3, so I have 2 more. So, I lost that stupid pound I gained plus another .6! It must have been the nibbles that I had that I thought wouldn't hurt me. I won't be doing that again! Feeling good today. I need to get myself into the 170's before I move on to P3 so probably another 3 to 3-1/2 weeks for me. Ugh! It's starting to get hard. But I'm tough, I can do this. Have a lovely day ladies! ![]() |
