I'm not starting (I'm on VLCD 18) but if you don't find a buddy, (or even if you do) come check in with us on the Firecracker Girls thread! We started around the 4th of July, but a few of us are going for another month at least. We'd love for you to join us!

I am not starting today either, but I will be right behind you. I am on vacation and will start either tomorrow or Sun. I was going to start on Sun, but if I get back home in time to take the drops tomorrow then I am going to be a day ahead of schedule. I am so ready to do this!!
Good luck and enjoy eating!!!! My favorite part of the plan, well besides the losing part. LOL |

Starting my somewhat "rogue" plan today.
My last round ended last fall and was maintaining well for 6+ months until vacation last month. Now I've got to get these 10+ vaca lbs off, and maybe get to my real goal. I do a Atkins style load and on P2 I omit the breadstick and fruit and give myself a little more protein. Happy Loading Day 1!! |

Hi! Not starting today, but I am only a week and two days ahead of you--and I have lost OVER ELEVEN POUNDS! What makes that even more amazing is that I am 54, menopausal and not far from goal. You are going to LOVE this plan!
I will pop back in to cheer you on! Now go get skinny! |

I'm starting today, Friday, July 22, 2011! ( however, I've started a million over many times since I had success on this several years ago...) BUT THIS TIME I WANT IT TO BE IT. I admit it is 7:43 PM & all day was fine but usually at some point I am hit with cravings and that happens to be now -- I read somewhere it is easier to stay low carb than get low carb...so this should get easier as I go along and of course start to see and feel results! Having a buddy and support will be a huge help, too--something I wasn't doing before.

(RE)Starting 7/22/11
Yay...me too...I am (re-starting today and found the posts of those starting 7/22/11)--yay 9 pm...made it through my 1st day back. I am determined this time will be the real deal. My sister has been doing great on LC for almost two years. I did well years ago but have been on and off tangents of trying so many things ...to no avail...I get confused what to do--but want to stick to this and believe I can make this a lifestyle once and for all--

Day 2 - July 23, 2011
Ooopps I didn't realize both of my posts were sent. I thought one didn't go through!!!
I'm a 50s girl myself and am fascinated to know how someone here (sorry do not have name) lost 11 lbs. in one week? Was that on Induction? I find Induction for me a bit too stringent but gee if possible to lose 11 lbs....that is encouraging! I'm mainly trying to make a lifestyle/health change and not be focused on weight as much. However, when I hit 40 (15 yrs) ago, I gained at least one pound a year. It didn't seem a big deal but now nothing fits. I feel miserable and do not want to buy bigger clothes so have been struggling for the past five years on various plans off and on and lost and gained it back. Needless to say I am back to square 1 but yesterday restarted and plan to continue today and the many tomorrows. To you back to the program, what will you be eating today? Any ideas? Thanks! Have a wonderful day. |

WEll...... today is my first load day. I did attempt the hcg once in the past with no success due to my own failure not the hcg. I really think last time I did it so I could just have a reason to binge on carbs hence the 3rd day hcg failure.
This time I am filling up on protein and fats with a small amount of sugar delights. Hell will probably be freezing over because I also did the unthinkable and started a multi vitamin. ![]() I also decide to throw vanity to the wind and bought the menopausal multivitamin. ![]() Hope you are all have a great weekend.

Day #2 of loading done. I have so much food these past 2 days I am looking forward to some VLCDs. I want to feel clean after all the junk I stuffed in my mouth LOL. I love Blizzards!!! I was on the road today driving for 8 hours to visit my mom in FL. She lost her DH last week to cancer. So I will be here with her for a few days taking care of things--that will keep my mind off of food. At least that is the plan!! I hope you are off to a great start!! Oh, I packed all my food I should need while here--chicken, melba, apples and such. I am ready to lose 20 pounds!!
