need thoughts on gaining weight

hey there i need some opinions please.

on monday i was on R1P2D16 and down 11.6lbs .... the first week i expected to drop, then last week i was on vacation from work (didn't go anywhere, just stayed home) ... now, this week i'm gaining (+0.8 and then +1.0) ... i'm not freaking out, but i just thought it was funny that going back to work is making me gain.

could it just be the stress/anxiety of work (love my job, but of course it's a job and has lots of deadlines and things).

would love to hear what you think .... thanks!

kyki

Ok, well - "this week" = how many days exactly?

Here's the thing - this sometimes happens in spurts. If I were you I would just be sure I was sticking to all the rules and hang in there.

Sorry - I know this is very frustrating.

Could it be TOM? Water retention?

nope, not TOM ...

i'm trying to increase my water (don't get as much at work because i get busy and forget) and drinking some hot detox tea as well. curious how this week will work out. still not sure if i'm going to do 21 days or go longer. i'm thinking longer since i like it so much and don't find it too difficult.

I remember in Dr S's book that he says women can have a stall and/or small gain around the time they ovulate. Could that be it?

I remember that I wasn't supposed to drink after the drops, so I got in this habit of downing my huge glass of water with lemon, (I think it's 16-20 ounces), of water right before the drops. That may help too.

Just to comment I've had a gain (or two or three) on EVERY single round. Usually ovulation or TOM related, but sometimes I just scratch my head and don't know why. There is always a nice WHOOSH in the future when it happens. I have also had work interfere with my water uptake and stall my losses too.

Good luck!

This could be it-- most women ovulate around 2 weeks before tom, so if you are anywhere in that 2 week window your hormones could be the culprit. As long as you are staying on protocol I would just keep on a'going. Hope it resolves soon

I never lose steadily...I am up a half pound one day, then down a pound the next...then up a half pound again...and down a half pound the next...LOL...but the trend is consistently downward. I also sometimes float around the same weight for a few days but I never worry about it because if I measure I am usually losing more inches at that time. I noticed this on my first round and it's continued with my second round - it's just how my body works. Maybe yours does this too? And by the way...I have never had a stall. I've not had to do an apple once. I am just sort of patient with my body...especially since I have never lost this fast in my life.

I sometimes think that I am a little weird because I don't lose every day the same as everyone else seems to...but then again I haven't seen the weight loss tracking for anyone else....only me. Maybe they lose the same way. But for me this is normal...a bit of fluctuation. I never ever worry about it...I am losing pounds and inches and that is all that matters to me.

KUTGW and just stick too it!

Jody
