Morning girls! Down .6 this morning.

Yesterday's Menu

coffee w/ 2 T FF Half and half

L: 4 oz. Laura's lean beef burger, grilled
Reduced sugar ketchup
Frozen spinach w/ butter buds
1/2 apple

D: 4 oz. Mediterranean Turkey Burger (w/ onion, garlic, cumin, paprika & cilantro)
2 cups shredded romaine w/ Walden Farms Honey Dijon
6 strawberries w/ stevia

Total Calories 553

Also, I lowered my dose to 8 drops 3 x a day from 10, and I feel like my hunger is better controlled. Feeling good all around.

Heya! I think we're going through the same process. I skipped my dose like you all suggested and hunger is def. not here. Let's see if 9/9/9 works for me. I'm almost tempted to do 8/8/8 like you.

Btw- I posted on that other P2 thread (not sure if it's different than this one) but I'm a firecracker girl too, so I'll post here too

(posted this on the other post, so I'll paste it here too). Well, I gained 1lb today, unfortunately. That is due to the complaining about being hungry all weekend; therefore, I know I was legitimately hungry. Yesterday, I ate a few more strawberries and piece of chicken here and there more than allotted.

I skipped my dose last night and feel better this morning. Not hungry like I was this weekend. I guess that means I will scale back my dosage to 9/9/9, and I hope that works! Very weird

Yay!

See how you feel after a day or 2. If you still have hunger, try 8 drops 3 x a day. I think it's all about experimenting with what works for us as individuals. I'm so glad you're feeling better though!

Hi girls! I'm at 333.5 this morning. TOM is raging.

Since I resisted homemade brownies with ice cream and homemade fudge sauce over the weekend (what I made for MIL's birthday), I BETTER see a big WHOOSH when TOM is done!

VLCD14 and down 1.6 this morning. I finally had a visit from bernice which is great because I needed a whoosh after gaining a lb from my surgery. I've lost a total of 7.8 lbs which is slightly more than .5 a day so I'm on track which is great considering my R2 was difficult. Hopefully this will continue. This was my menu for yesterday.

B - 1/2 grapefruit w/stevia, 1/2 cup coffee w/1 tsp non fat dry milk
L - 4 ozs grilled shrimp on George Foreman Grill (no veggies)
S - 6 ozs strawberries w/xylitol
D - 4 oz steak and about 1 cup roasted radishes

Total calories: 474

Have a great day!

You girls are doing great!

Slow losing here, as to be expected. I am running and cycling so I increased my protein/veggie portions. Although I already have an inch of my waist, hips & thighs! (all my trouble spots)

I love my Foreman too! We do almost everything on it!

Good morning! My weight stayed exactly the same, but our good friend Bernice has been MIA so I'm not too worried...

I'm so happy to see everyone with good losses today! Weekends are hard - I've been to the movies twice since Friday but resisted the popcorn both times (oh how I love movie popcorn!)

I hope everyone has a great day today - it's going to be a hot one!

Camping=failure!

But boy, was it fun!

I had a great weekend--it feels like I was gone much longer than I was, but as far as dieting goes....well, I crashed and burned. I weighed in this morning at 154.5, meaning that in one weekend I un-did most of my work for the past two weeks. I basically set myself back a week, and potentially created an unstable situation for myself, as my goal this round was to stabilize and "do it right."

It was just too hard to camp and stick with the diet. So many things happened that made it easier to just "go with it" than to obsess over every little morsel. With camping especially, LOTS of things can "go wrong" or at the very least, "unexpectedly." That was us. We were camping in a heat wave, biking, setting up camp, taking down camp, one of our coolers of food spoiled, the list goes on.....food wise, it wasn't good. But like I said, the experience was great. My kids had a fabulous time, and we made many fun memories.

Now, all I can do is brush off and get back to it. I also stopped taking my drops on Saturday and Sunday. I just didn't know if I should keep taking them or not when I was eating so poorly. So, I started taking them again this morning. I really hope I didn't mess myself up.

One thing is for sure: I am NOT hungry today. With any luck, I will be able to drop what I gained in a couple of days and be able to finish out the round.

Question: do I need to continue for 21 days from today, or can I pick up where I left off? I'm thinking I will need to extend my round for at least a week to catch back up...Ugh! I'm kinda over this, but I really want to start the school year solidly in the 140's so that I can move forward. Maybe taking it one day at a time is good.

So, beginning the week with mixed feelings: dissappointed that I screwed up my P2, but satisfied with a lovely weekend.

(I copied this from another post I wrote this morning...just not enough energy to write it all again! Ha!)

Kaylem, that's awesome that you had a great weekend. Just see it as fun and pick up where you left off. No need to extend/restart. It was only 2 or 3 days, right?

Just see those days as a set-back and be really honest with yourself and clean with your diet. You made the mistakes you were allotted all on this weekend, and just be real strict w/yourself and allow no more mistakes. I would just continue and the week set back will be right back on track in no time. No biggie!

Sounds like I am not alone on the epic fail of a weekend. I really didn't stand a chance of eating on protocol the entire weekend. Two words...Cold Stone. Sigh...

BUT...I am FULLY committed to being on track today. I got home late last night and make sure to cook my food for my lunch. There was NO way I was going another day of eating off plan. I was actually excited about getting back to eating right.

I am back up to 174.6, which is a 3.0 gain and TOM should be starting sometime tomorrow. I am going to take my lumps and dig in.

I hope we all have a great week!!!!!

Hi everyone - I'm heading to Key West on Wednesday for a much needed mind break.

I'm not worried about the food part, but I am about drinking, and how it will affect my losses. I've heard about 'restart', but not sure what it is. In my head, it had become 'stop drops until you get back, but eat sensibly'.

Is it? Or not? And if so, can someone walk me through the ideal scenario? Or should just stop, roll into p3 and wait it out.

I'm on r2, day 14, down 8 lbs and I'll be there Wednesday through Sunday.

Thanks for your help.

UGH!! Great, I was so looking forward (and HOPING and PRAYING) to your trip being successful!! I leave for 5 days of camping tomorrow morning!! I am making my chicken chili ahead of time and freezing it to take with me. While everyone else will be eating awesome NORMAL food that I will be preparing for them!! But I am being careful to not overpack food, so as I will not be tempted to eat theirs!! Just enough for them, none for me Bringing plenty of apples so if I feel the need to snack at least it will be ON protocal!! BUT I am planning to cheat so I can have a fire roasted Smores!!

Hang in there, your gain WILL come back off, just stick to protocal 100%!!

Wish me luck!!!

I stayed the same this morning. Frustrated!

My hunger seems to be pretty well controlled lately. I've gone back to my pellets regimen 3-3-4. Wonder if I was extra sensitive during ovulation? Anyhoo...at least that part of TOM is over!

NICE, Raven! That is awesome! I remember watching that little graph everyday until I finally moved OUT of the overweight range--and I hope to NEVER see it again. Good for you!!!

You will do great--even if there are "slip ups," it will be worth it, and you will recover when you get back. In my case, we had some unexpected bumps that resulted in having to improvise. (One of our coolers wasn't sealed and all of the food spoiled. Boo!) Have a great time and relax!! (And I hope that where you are going to camp is not quite as hot as South Dakota was! Whew!)
