Hello everyone. Haven't been online in a few days. Crazy week. My inch loss is really incredible. I have gone from an 18 to a 14....almost 12, but only down 15 pounds so far??? How is that possible to lose so many sizes and not as much weight? I am on VLCD 17, so I guess I am still losing at an average rate. I feel pretty good though. Hope everybody has a great day!

Woah, calling all Firecrackers, come in girls!
lbecker You are losing at almost TWICE the average rate for ladies, KUTGW!!!!! I think you are way over 1/2 pound per day, and the inches sound incredible! Woke up to Stay the Same. Trying to be philisophical (sp?!!) but am irritated. I did hit 132.2 on day 9 of protocol. Then bounced up and finally came back down. But this is day 18 people! I'm supposed to end soon! Plus I can't spell or type on protocol, don't want to stay on it too long! I need to get over myself here....I know TOM is going to come, and that I'll need to stay on until at least day 4 or 5 of that, or my P3 might be too weird. I *so* have to make it to the 120s! That will be a prewedding number, and a huge accomplishment.

Yes, I'm planning up to a week longer. TOM is due today...but I'm pretty irregular so who knows when he'll show. 23 to 36 days is my TOM window. Today day 26, which is my normal average this year. Yes, let's keep the firecracker threads going...I'm staying on during P2, then will head over to the weekly P3 threads. |

I'm down .8 this morning. So happy that the losses have picked up a little in week 3. Looking forward to P3 now for more variety in my meals and because I have a baby shower to attend next Saturday. I will start P3 on Thursday or Friday of next week depending on how much hcg I have left. I haven't measured this entire round (not sure what I'm waiting for) but I'm excited to find out how many inches I've lost because I can actually see a big difference in the mirror.
Have a great day ladies!

My last drop day is Monday. I started at 349.9 and I'm 332.3 today. That's 17.6 lbs. Was hoping to be in the 320's and still might make it, but if I don't, I'm very pleased with my results thusfar!

Still at 150.5--no change from yesterday. I expected that, though b/c yesterday was a very strange day. I was sooo hungry all day--light headed, felt weird, etc... not sure why, though. Also, we were gone for most of the day dealing between two car dealerships trying to work a deal on a car. (not the most relaxing experience!) Because of all of the running around, I ate slightly off protocol--mixed some veggies in a "prepared" salad and used salsa as a dressing. (It was the best I could do under the circumstances, so I feel good about it). I also had some extra protein b/c I was feeling so odd. I am taking an antibiotic right now b/c of a urinary tract infection, so that could also affect things. Anyway, like I said, I was happy this morning to have a zero loss rather than a gain!

I am down zero today. I am coming off TOM so I am not surprised.
I am trying to keep my mind in the right place, but it's going to a rough day at work and I used to compensate for that kind of thing with yummy food and all I can have at the moment is an apple. I really think that this protocol is helping me gain a LOT of discipline!! |

I'll check in, but my last day of drops will be Monday, so my losses will stop, but I can still cheer y'all on!
/*\(o)/*\ Oh, and more people have noticed my weight loss. My friend's mom even called me Miss Skinny last night. I know it's a laugh, a 300 lb person being called 'skinny', but it still made me feel good. Last edited by BigBravesGirl; 07-22-2011 at 01:20 PM.. |

Hi girls! I came back yesterday after an impromptu trip, so I'm just calling it an interruption and not counting those days as part of my P2 days, because even though I was "good" I wasn't "protocol good." I weighed today and I was up .2 over my lowest weight on 7/17, so I've basically lost 5 days of losing
but I'm happy that I'm not up more than that. I'll still be on P2 for at least another 8 days if I do a standard 23 day day round, but I might go longer than that. I'm going to do what I did last time and just go by how I feel -- last time I went 28 days total, so we'll see how I feel when I get to the end of this round. Glad to see you all still around!

I'm losing my drive/motivation. I reached this same point at the same time during my last round, so I know that I just need to psyche myself up to pushing through, but I feel discouraged that I have only lost 9 pounds this round--IF you count load weight. If you only count pre-load, then it is only FIVE POUNDS. Granted, three of those days were during camping and we all know what happened THEN, but still.
UGH! I hate feeling like this! I've been hungry for most of the day again, as well as a headache...I know that I am not "out" of normal fat b/c I am still five pounds away from my last LDW, but I sure feel funky. It must have something to do with this silly antibiotic. Who knows. I am definitely missing P3 foods in the worst way and I am SO READY to eat normally...my NEW normally, that is. Ah well. Such is the blues of P3. I will go until next Friday or until my drops run out, which ever is first. I am saying a little prayer that I do not get stalled at 150.5, and can just push through to 145 so I can stabilize there for a few days before moving on to P3. I have so many things to get ready for the fall and the school year and I don't want to be obsessing over calories and food! Sorry for the rant--I just had to vent for a few moments before I dove face first into a package of cheese....or blueberries....or yogurt....or almonds.... ![]() Thanks. I feel better already! |

I will probably continue on and have my LDW be next Monday (august 1st). That should see me thru TOM and ease me into P3 before that first weekend...where I guarantee I will want to add some wine back in. And hopefully before I ovulate again and I have to do my first CD on P3. ![]() |

Thanks for the encouragement, Balance and Paula! I appreciate it
!I ate some grilled chicken and grilled asparagus for dinner and even got in 25 minutes on my elliptical, burning an additional 200 calories...hoping that combined w/ extra water will result in a nice whoosh tomorrow morning... Happy weekend, all! Kay |

Last night must have been hoppin' in the various locales where ya'll live! No one posted all evening!
I just cut and pasted this from where I posted on the alternative thread...getting too lazy to type it all again! (Plus, I need to get moving! I have lots to do this morning!) R3P2VLCD19....still 150.5 ??????????? Pretty bummed--I really felt like I was losing yesterday. I ate on protocol, drank tons of water, did a cardio work out...NADA. Also, the rash on my legs has "sort of" intensified. (It's not itchy or raised or anything, just looks like tons of tiny reddish freckles) My guess was that it had something to do with weight loss and I was HOPING that it was a signal that I was getting ready to drop some pounds. *Sigh.* Regardless, I will be done one way or another next week. Next Friday, in fact. (If my drops last that long.) I guess on the bright side, I am 5 pounds from LDW, so that means that I lost MOST of what I gained during "vacationgeddon" (thanks, Julie, for that most awesome phrase! ). Also, there is nothing like hcg to get rid of cravings.I may need to try another method to lose the last five pounds. Nothing crazy, just different. I have found, like I'm sure others have, that typically a weight loss plan works really well for me the first time. Then, if I try it again later, my body develops a resistance to it. I was hoping that hcg was NOT like that. Unfortunately, it looks like it might be. If this was all "virgin" weight that I was trying to lose, I would say that I was just stuck at a set point. BUT it is not. Well, I can't dwell on it. All I can do is keep on until the end and focus on any inches that I see coming off. (I hope there are inches coming off.) Today is busy--my oldest daughter's final swim meet is today, and it begins at 8am. (She left the house before 6 am to go warm up! Eek!) We will be outside all morning, and I need to prepare some snacks for her. Not sure what the rest of the day holds--hopefully a workout! Here's to hoping that the Whoosh Fairy is much kinder to YOU all! --Kay |

Hey Kay, chin up, hopefully it will still come down through next week! I am the same way, a diet change/plan works well the first time, and not so much the next! I hate that!! LOL I hope you "drop" tomorrow!!
