Back to P2 today - hope it's the last round!!

Hi Guys!!

I'm back from my fun summer and up a bit. Iam starting P2 today :(, but really hoping this goes well. I'm doing protocol w/ coffee and a bit of hnh instead of my breadstick. I may mix my veggies a bit, but I'm trying to keep it clean. I want to get down to 140anything and hope to stall out there for a few days b/4 going on to P3. I'd alway like to get there in 3 weeks. W/ so much vacation, travel and celebration eating this summer, and loading all weekend, I'm up to 167!!

Just wanted to pop in and see how you're all doing. Any pointers would be welcome. I'm going back to check recipes as it's been months since I did P2 and can barely remember what I used to make!! Gotta' dust off the food scale too.

Hope to lose with you all!!

Well good luck Julie, I know you can do it.

Best of luck to you, Julie!

Question or three. Your posts were some of my first here and went a long way in my deciding to try HCG. But I don't remember how P3 and P4 went for ya. Why the increase in weight? Did you not do correction days? Did your metabolism not get reset? I apologize, I am not trying to get too personal or hijack. Just trying to learn from the pros as I am about to embark on P3. Eventually, lol.

Thanks! I was stabilized nicely there for a while. I did my P3/P4 w/ no trouble. I did start working out and weight training and the scale jumped 2 lbs. I think the feeling of being deprived for so long combined w/ too much fun created this environment where I felt like indulging was just fine.

My bday hit late May and we celebrated for about 4 days. I popped up to 155 (was stabilized around 152). I did some CD's and got back to 153, then it was my dd's bdays, their parties etc (their bdays are 3 days apart) and I bounced back up to 155. I tried to get back down, but couldn't, and we went on vaca on Father's Day for the week. I came back at 159. I did some Cd's and got down to 156 this time. Then we went to MN last week for a family reunion and Gpa's 90th bday. We ate our way through the week and the CD option wasn't possible. Sigh. I brought my pellets and loaded our last 2 days and gained up to 167 through loading. Sigh. So, it was too much partying, not enough time to correct in between and knowing I was going back to P2 I didn't reign it in this weekend but enjoyed the loading. I hope the recent weight goes quickly. I am also not planning any vacations until Nov. so I hope whatever I lose down to I can maintain.

One thing I will say, that I learned in this last round, was that "refeeding" does not work for me. I managed to get down to 146 and stalled there for a week. I got frustrated and "refed" which buumped me up to 150 where I stayed my last week on P2. I ended there. I wish I had not tried it and just stayed the P2 course. That's what I will do this time. I'd love to see 146 this round. I hope since this weight gaine is recent it'll go quickly. A few CD's would probably help, but I'm dosed up and ready to go!!

You've done amazingly well and I really admire your dedication and commitment!! KUTGW!!

Gotcha! I'm pretty confident that it'll drop quickly for you. You've always been SO encouraging and inspirational to me since you know what it's like to be 272 lbs!

I blamed a bump up in my weight on a re-feed within my first 25 days but looking back at my progress spreadsheet, a gain at that point in my cycle was inevitable, so now I truly have no opinion on re-feeds other than it's a YMMV thing.

It's nice to see your pretty face posting again!

Welcome back girl!

Thanks guys!! Day 2 down, feeling pretty good overall!! I'm trying to stay closer to protocol this round, but it's so hard. I want to add LC yogurt, or a protein shake and workout more. I may experiment a bit this week. We'll see. Thanks again!!

Yay Julie! Have I mentioned that I love seeing your face back here?

How about the P2 shake for when you're craving the protein shakes?

C'Marie 07-18-2011 08:03 PM

Good luck, Julie!

Lol! Thanks!! you're so sweet! I don't do fruit all that often. I sub the hnh in my morning coffee for those calories (that's how I work it in my head). I will try the almond milk, ice, LC protein pwdr one day and see how I do. I added some LC yogurt today b/c I was starving!! I love yogurt ! I'm going rogue even w. my best intentions to stay protocol .

Day 2, got up to 600 cals today, but am still losing load weight. I will be at this all week I suspect! :annoyed: I'm in for the full 3 weeks, and if I need to and can muster the endurance I will go longer. We'll see how it goes. :)

Good luck Julie! You can do this! You've done it before! I'm on VLCD2.. And I was thinking the same as you, make it through at least 3 weeks. :stars:

If you can do, so can I!
