Lose weight on P3?

I have to just do a 23 day cycle for this P2, I really wanted to do a 43 day, but I have a 3 day retreat I have to attend that will make it just about impossible.
So, I'm cutting P2 short by 3 days so that I will be in P3 during the retreat. I think I can make it through the 3 days of restaurants and catered lunches and breakfasts by sticking to traditional low carb and watching portions.

I have so much weight to lose though, I really don't want to wait another 6 weeks to start losing again. So I'm wondering if folks continue to lose weight on P3 and stabilize on P4, or if I'm supposed to try to stabilize on P3 and will have to suck it up and wait it out for 6 weeks until I can start another round.

Down 9 without load days so far. tee hee!

Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

I'm not in P3 but I've read some of their forums. You're not supposed to lose weight in P3, it's to re-set your calorie ceiling.

However, some of the P3 folks said that they lose weight when they eat 1500 calories in a day (most shoot for around 2000 calories of Atkins-style foods). Also, P3 is when you can add exercising, so that would be a way to encourage weight loss in P3.

I might switch to P3 when I have about 5 pounds to lose, and see if I can lose them through exercise.

Good luck!

Thanks for your input. I don't want to screw this up. Especially if I'm "resetting" everything. I guess I will have to get some patience. I was hoping the resetting started in P4. :(

Can you take an interruption?

That's what I was thinking. Why don't you do a 3 day interruption and then start back on the hcg when the retreat is over to finish out your 43 day round. As long as your interruption is 14 days or less you don't have to load again. You can just start right back on protocol. You will still have to stop dosing 2 days before your retreat (3 days if using Rx) to get the hcg out of your system before you start eating P3 foods but this way you can enjoy your retreat and start back losing in three days.

Interesting idea. I don't remember reading about this. You basically temporarily go to P3?
Is this in the Pounds and Inches somewhere?
Thanks for the idea....
