bizarre day

Hey y'all

We were in the car all day today. I brought along my chicken and asparagus, an apple and an orange and a lot of water and Pellegrino. It took me almost 3 hours to get my lunch down. Regular 3.5 ounce portion of grilled chicken breast and 3.5 ounces of blanched asparagus. It was delicious and I was hungry when I began, but before I was half-way through it, I was way too full and had to put it away for an hour. I still haven't eaten dinner...not hungry.

Is this what happens when your hypothalmus gets a clue? I'm on day 19 of my HCG drops

Yes, I was almost force feeding myself at times. I still find myself having to make myself eat in P3 too. Just be sure to get those calories in.

thanks, Angel...I was actually going to ask that. I take it that it is important to eat the 500 cals, even if you really don't feel like it (as long as you're not feeling sick or anything)? I really had a hard time getting through dinner. Honest to God, I felt like I had eaten Thanksgiving dinner twice in one day. The weirdest thing I've ever experienced. Not sick, food tasted nice, but I just felt full. I don't think I've felt full in 20 years!

You are welcome! You will actually gain weight if you don't eat your calories. It sends you into starvation mode. P2 just barely keeps you out of it and protein deficiency. I agree with the feeling of being full on this protocol. I still have a difficult time being hungry sometimes and the cravings are still almost zero. I am on P3D27. I am going longer on P3 to lose some more weight then stablize a few weeks. My dr. does it different than the rules.

Man, I hope I get to this point some day. While I'm not agonizingly hungry, I am DEFINITELY glad to eat when mealtime rolls around. Maybe by Day 19, I'll feel like you do...

After the first week, I've gone back to the normal lumberjack-level appetite in P3.

Verbqueen, it will come to it. HCG is known for it. Are you doing injections, pellets or drops?

Red, I was expecting that to happen with me; but I have a specific number of calories I have to have in order to stay in P3 indefinitely with the doctor. I really some days am not that hungry or even find food appealing at times. Cravings are what sent my appetite over the edge before HCG. I don't have them so now I just don't think much about bad things for me. My cravings are just my "chocolate" water and fruits for sweets. I am really surprised how this has changed me completely.

While I no longer suffer from cravings for pancakes, or bread, or pasta, I'm still HUNGRY. I can have a 2 egg omelet full of veggies and cheese for breakfast, and big salad with like 8 veggies and cheese with blue cheese dressing for lunch, and then a meat and veggie dinner, followed by some sort of berries and whipped cream dessert. I'm at like 2500 a day average.

I've been MAKING myself put in potatoes, and some whole grains. I don't like it, because then I have to think, and balance, and I feel like I will set myself up for that old craving devil. But i know it's right, so I do it.

I wonder if I will ever lack appetite. I can even eat when I have a migraine!

Wow! You eat twice as much as I try to cram in daily. I do good to get 1200 calories in. I find myself at the last minute of eating for the day raiding the fridge to have cheese or something high calorie to make up the needed ones. Did you do drops or injections (I can't remember)? The injections with the vitamins that my dr gives totally resets everything incredibly!

I used pellets and never felt very hungry on P2, I often ate higher calorie beef, instead of fish or chicken to be sure I got the calories in.
Red I'm with you, in P3 I ate to calorie max, I remember you saying we were retraining our bodies, so train them to love calories. So I now find myself hungry, but for good food and if I have a craving it's for berries and cream.
