Can taking doses too late interfere with losses?

So I think I might be on to something here, but I don't know if it's legit or if I am just reaching.

I have been stalling big time and retaining water and I am wondering if it is because I altered my dosing schedule. I used to take my drops at 6am, noon, and 6pm. Through one hectic oversight or another, I have somehow landed on the schedule of 9am, 3pm, and 9pm OR LATER. I have not been paying attention to when this started and if it coincides with my losses all but stopping. I just thought of this today. Could this be the reason, or like I said, am I just reaching?

I went back to the 6am, noon, and 6pm schedule today.

Yes but have you been consistent with your dosing times? I was always consistent until the last 2 weeks or so and it really does seem like ever since I went with the later dosing, my losses went poof.

I guess the reason I wonder is because you burn more fat during your active, waking time and I can't help but wonder if you take a dose and go to bed, your body is in sleepy night night mode and not let's burn this fat mode.

I've taken mine at 9a, 3p, and 9p since I started. I've been late on a couple doses for whatever reason - but try and stick to these hours.

Now, having said that, I'm a late night kind of person. I usually get up around 8-9am, and stay up until after midnight, even to 2-3am on regular basis...so my dosing might be a little skewed because of our normal schedule. (DH is on night shift, and we also homeschool so the later hours work perfectly for me.)

See, and I am an "up at 5am" kind of person. THAT is the thing I am wondering about. If I woke up at 8 and took my first dose at 9, it wouldn't be a big deal. But I am up for the day 5:30am on average, even on weekends.

I dunno. I'm not trying to live in denial or non-reality but it really does seem like my troubles started when this happened. I know I would love to blame anything and everything right now. But this just seems like it would make the most sense. Because it's really the only thing I'm doing differently.

I guess time will tell. Like I said, I went back to the earlier dosing, so I will see how it goes.

I seem to recall something onemoretry said when she was in P2. She does the ketone strips and noticed that she was in a higher fat-burning mode earlier in the day. I wake up super early so I'm really thinking my metabolism needs the hHCG earlier.

Yeah, if I got up at 5:30, I'd go with an earlier dose, too. I feel like I need it ASAP, lol.

LOL! I've always dong my last dose before bed, but am going to try dosing earlier in the day now. I usually have coffee, then about an hour later dose, dose again around lunchtime and again before bed. I may start dosing earlier, then right before lunch and again before dinner. Who knows if it'll help, but worth a try !

I don't know, but I do know I saw someone say to spread out the doses to more like every 8 hours and (coincidentally?) my losses slowed, so I went back to trying to get them at 7am/1pm/7pm...and I don't know, my losses did go back up again.

I thought it was probably nutso, but I'm more curious now that you've posed this question.

Of course, there are so many other factors, right? Could have been hormonal or what I was eating...

So concludes my not-so-helpful post.

Yes, I've read this from 1moretry HOWEVER she is misinterpreting the ketone strips. Whether you show dark purple or just the faintest hint, you are in ketosis (like being pregnant--you either are or you aren't). A darker purple doesn't mean that you are burning or excreting more fat and as I recall she was always showing ketosis.

How'd you do today, LB? Did you have any more losses? I tend to agree with the others that your body is ready for P3 but I'm curious to see if there's anything to your theory. I slowed down to a crawl my last couple of weeks of my last round and ended up actually GAINING the last week. After two successive days of gains, I just said, ok, body's ready for P3.
