New here, R1 and LD #1

Hi Everyone,

I just started loading today, and am looking for some advice regarding loading and general support for this. This is my first diet ever, but it's the only one several people around me (who have done countless before) who swear by the HCG diet. I'm doing HCG fusion with a 800-1000 cal/day diet, same as 500 only more cals allowed.

Today I've tried to eat and and eat, but because of the heat it's hard not to think of food curdling in my stomach. So I tried going to a mall to stuff myself, started with 4 soft tacos and 2 hamburgers and now onto pizza, cheesy bread and wings.

Could others please post with their loading day experiences and what kind of food they ate and how much? Thanks!

Erin

For your second loading day, I would try to concentrate on less empty carbs and more actual fats. Avocado, nuts, protein, cheeses, oils, etc. You're probably feeling a little right now. Hang in there.

You need to read Pounds and Inches, and definitely check out the alternative threads here since you won't be doing the 500 calorie protocol.

is about right. Thanks for replying, Ive been going ballistic on this thread. I wasn't eating much before this (probably why I've gained 15lbs in the last 2 mos) at most one meal (very unhealthy at that) and some days I'd forego food entirely, sticking with an entire caffeine diet. I know not healthy. Hence, why i thought this would be a good plan.

Are there anything other than cheeses on that list? I do not like eating any of the stuff on there, except cheese, perhaps some hardboiled eggs would make me feel better.

You don't like meat (aka protein)? Eggs are good. Heck, even cheesecake would beat what you ate today. The key is high fat food, NOT just something high in carbs and greasy. You need to give your fat cells sustenance for the long road ahead.

Copied from another site:
* Healthy Cold Pressed Oils
* Drizzle Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Sesame Oil, Coconut Oil on everything!
* Avocados
* Nuts: Especially Walnuts, Macadamia Nuts, Pecans, Pine Nuts, in that order, can really boost your fat gram load
* Nut Butters & Tahini (peanut butter, cashew butter, etc)
* Seeds: Sesame, Sunflower, Pumpkin are all great!
* Coconut: The oil, the milk, the meat … fabulous! May also contribute to healing thyroid gland.
* Olives: Green or black, and stuff them with Tahini!
* Eat foods that you crave that are especially high in fat such as ice cream, cookies, custards, whipped cream, pastries, chocolate, etc. as it has a psychological effect of saying good bye (for now!)
* Focus on high caloric creamy foods.
* Drink whatever you want on your load days; including soda, beer, wine, sake, etc.

I do like meat, and i'll eat loads of it. I'm a huge snacker but not a sweet eater. If that makes sense, I will eat a bag of chips before I touch chocolate cake, ice cream and so on. I also have a tad of a milk allergy which causes my gag reflex to act up when eating high fat dairy products (most cheeses (esp. cheddar), cream, chocolate and milk in general). I think i'm going to pig out on olives for the next 24 hours, maybe get myself some crackers and brie. And i crave pizza, sushi, mmm tempura, maybe i'll go for cheesecake......hmm i wonder how olive cheesecake tastes...
