Your losses including the load weight

Can you help me understand what it means when someone says they lost 5lbs including the load weight?

Does it mean that they lost the 3lbs they gained on the load, and then an additional 2lbs?

Just trying to figure out the lingo.

For example, I gained 5lbs during my load. This week, I weigh 9lbs less than I did on VLCD1. Does this mean that I lost 9lbs so far *including* my load weight?

You got it sister!

I was 177.6 on P2, day one...my 1st load day. VLCD-1, I was 180.6.

I am now 167.6, so I am down 13 lbs (including load weight), or 10 lbs. without my load weight.

whew! Yeah...it was good for my head that I lost. I have had an easy time of this so far. I feel really blessed that way.
