Ugh. Right after I posted the worst day in a long time commenced. Life, sometimes, is a real pain. Forgot my drops & have spent the entire day away from home with no food, so I ate out. I'm in trouble, scale-wise.

I'm not planning to change any of my grooming products either, Wiggles. I have super-oily skin anyway, and already mostly use oil-free products.

To all of you just joining us in P2! Good luck and happy losing!!

I completed my Apple Day yesterday, but it was HARD. Not something I would like to do on a regular basis. Fortunately, it resulted in a 2 pound loss this morning, so I am down to 149. I'm REALLY hoping it isn't just water weight that will bounce right back.

I had a minor mistake today--I ate an extra apple. (I know, who would want another apple the day AFTER an apple day????) They WERE a different variety, though, which helped, but also I was sooo hungry and it was the easiest thing to grab. Anyway, I ate one this afternoon forgetting that I had eaten a whole one in the morning. (Normally I eat ONE that I cut in half and split over two snacks.) If I gain from THAT then that is just silly, but you never know!

I leave for a camping trip tomorrow. I have a lot of apprehension about maintaining 500 calories while camping/hiking/etc.. I think I will HAVE to increase my intake, but trying to figure out how to do that w/ P2 foods only. I'm thinking that some of my veggies will get mixed, for sure!

Anyway, I hope everyone is having an excellent evening and that tomorrow brings lots of whooshes!

Kay

I'm down 1 pound this morning for a total of 18 pounds lost.

I am wearing my size 8 petite pants right now that I haven't worn in 2 years. I could have worn them about 5 pounds ago, but they were looking tight in the butt area. Now they look perfectly normal.

Woot!

Down .5 today~ steady as she goes... Can hardly wait for my pellets to arrive, plus I ordered Sweetleaf apricot nectar... THat sounds so good! (Secretly want to make a drink with it~ like vodka, club soda, and apricot nectar stevia.. mmm)
Does anyone else stick to the same foods? I have yet to have a grapefruit or orange, and mostly eat apples every day. I should venture out a bit, right?

Oh, one more thought: Should I be in ketosis? Cause I am. On a lark, I checked last night and I was a solid medium range. Same this morning...

Good job!

The scale was kind, showing a .8 loss. I did not drink much water yesterday, so likely tomorrow's weight will reflect that. Today is supposed to be my last day on drops... part of me wants to push it a few days to put a few #s in between me and 170, but I don't think I'm in the vlcd mode mentally. I guess I'll see what the scale says tomorrow and decide from there...

Good loss! The apricot nectar sounds yummy!! I do stick with the same foods, mostly... tilapia, chicken, shrimp, cottage cheese, a little beef, cabbage, lettuce, spinach, asparagus, apples and strawberries. I haven't had an orange or gradefruit this round...

Not sure about ketosis.

Its okay if you are in ketosis, but not a "ketosis" diet... if that makes any sense. No reason to switch it up food wise, unless you are bored or wanting something different. Okay to eat the same things everyday!

Good Morning! I'm down .4 and only have 3.8 to get to 200....I am amazed that I haven't had any hunger at all. My stomach growls when it's time to eat, but I haven't had any fatigue and have had TONS of energy every day. My ultimate goal is to get to 195 before I end this round and that's only 8.8 pounds.

I have a four-day weekend this week (after today - I don't return to work until next Tuesday ), today's our son's 12th birthday and we have big weekend planned for him.

This is by far the easiest plan I've done and it's so simple. I wish all of us continued success and congratulations ladies!

BTW, does anyone know any men who've done hcg? I heard of a group of men at my work who've lost a combined total of 300 pounds, but I don't know who they are. My mother-in-law and I are getting together next week because she knows of a man doing hcg and she wants to tell me all about it. She's amazed at my success and my husband and son are 100% supportive as always.

Congrats on the losses, and yes, there are lots and lots of men who do this diet and lose better than us women, of course!! My husband has lost about 50 lbs on it. He gained a bit back on our vacation, like me, and he is back for a second round, but he went from 260-210 in like 2 months... Definitely works for men too!!

Sorry you had a cruddy day yesterday At least the scale wasn't as troublesome as you thought it was going to be! I'm nearing the end of P2 also. I can go one more week, maybe plus a few days before I need to switch over before I leave for our road trip and vacay with family in Oregon. I think I will stick with it at least another week...I'd like to get down as much as possible before the trip...but my losses are definitely sloooooooowing way down so it'll be time to move on to P3.

Yay!!! I don't think I've ever worn a size 8...even when I was young. I think I fatted myself right over them into 10's.

You'll get there! KUTGW!

It's been really easy for me too...any other diet that's just "moderation" doesn't do it for me and I quickly succumb to more than moderation

I even told my WW group the other day..."I know that WW preaches 'you can have anything in moderation'...well, I can't. I want some, and it just sets off cravings and does me in. I'm better off eliminating sugars, starches, and processed foods to get me in control".

...and it feels SOOOOOOO GREAT to be in control right now!!

I'm am down .8 today; finally at 167.6 after being at 168.4 since Saturday! It's been a few days since having a BM, so I took some Smooth Move last night. WOW that stuff works!! ...and it tasted really good! I love tea that I don't have to flavor up So glad I didn't have to resort to an apple day today!

And why is it that EVERY scale is lower than my own?? The one at WW is consistently 1-2 lbs. lower, and this morning my medical scale at work says 165 (that's after the, um, evacuation ). WHY can't my scale be the low one!!!!

AmyLou, nice drop!! (or evacuation..heehee) anyway, how old is your scale? How old are the batteries? It might be worth buying a new one...or new batteries!! Keep up the good work!

It's probably about 5 years old. Do you know what the life of scales is...or the batteries?

So I just read to take a premeasured item (ie 10-lb weight) and see if it registers accurately on the scale...to see how your scale is working.

of course!

Well, I had a happy weigh-in today! I lost my two pounds of load weight, and an extra one to boot! Woke up feeling not hungry, but with a headache (I've had a head cold and several days of sinus pain and pressure. Don't think it's diet related.)

I feel encouraged--like maybe, just maybe, this might actually WORK for me!!

Back later--best wishes to everyone for a successful day.

Amy, I change the batteries at least once a year.... you might try that. Its great to take a premeaured item, but they are not always exact either! LOL Like sugar or flour.... I would think you could do with a battery change. Weigh yourself, change the battery and weigh yourself again, same time and see what happens!

Great job Jessica!!

Down another 1 pound today to 136! That's 19 pounds lost (not including load weight).

I'm so close to the 20 pound mark!

I also measured myself today, and I lost 1/2 inch in my hips, which is awesome because they are so large. Unfortunately I also lost 1/2 inch in my breasts, which is unfortunate because they are 2 sizes smaller than my waist/hips.

Nice drop! I wanted to get to a solid 167 before moving to P3, but my heart isn't in P2 anymore... time to move on. And YES, Smooth Move works really well!!

I'm down .4 today. I haven't been getting my water in the past few days... need to work on that today. I think I'm going to call this LDW, and transition into P3. My heart is not in the losing mode anymore, and I want some eggs!! (and bacon!!) I just hope I stabilize on this side of 170! Have a good day, everyone!!

I feel encouraged--like maybe, just maybe, this might actually WORK for me!!
It WILL work for you! This plan works when others have failed us!!

Yay! I'm really liking the pellets...and really gratefull I did my research and found them rather than going the injection route!

It feels so good to be in the 160's doesn't it!?! I decided I'm going to give this one more week...and then wean into P3. I'm worried that if I head into it too close to the road trip I won't do it correctly (and honestly). I need a few days at least of P3 to ground myself!

So I did put new batteries in my scale this morning. Before putting them in, I weighed the same, 167.6. When I switched them I went down to 166.4. I re-weighed myself 2 more times not back-to-back and it was consistent at 166.4 . So girls...make sure you're batteries are up to date! My scale manual says that it will give a reading when the battery is low...OR it will show false readings. Well...how the heck are you really supposed to know if it's giving false readings unless it's WAY off?? Darn thing!

I have to say, I'm a little discouraged NO one has said anything to me about the almost 15 lbs. I've lost. I know I'm showing it...I'm in smaller clothes so physically it's there (or not there rather lol). My parents are coming into town Sunday, for the night on their way up to Oregon...so maybe my mom will say something. She's always noticed when I've lost.

Have a great Friday everyone!!!!

Happy Friday everyone!

I'm officially in P3 but have a P2 question: what is everyone using as their LDW, what you weigh the morning of your last dose day or the next morning's weight?

I have heard that it's your weight on the next morning after you take your last dose. The weight on the next few days of VLC consider a cushion for any gains that may happen in P3.

Good luck!

Amy Lou... I was hysterical with this comment!! LOL (fart one) OMG!!!

As for the batteries, glad I could help and that it showed a drop!! whoo hooo

AS for noticing your loss, I am sure they will catch on soon! I only got comments from my super heavy weight (240) down, but not really ever anymore... so maybe its just more noticeable to us and our clothing fits than to others...??

Jodarina, did this on the other too, but its the morning of your last dose's weight. So if you dosed this morning, its this mornings weight, not the next day.

TOM is evil. Since I started P2 I've actually been skipping the placebo week of my birth control so I can avoid having my period altogether.
