Good job ladies, sounds like a good start today.

Kay, are you going to do an apple day today then? not bad with no gain considering your 2 meals out yesterday, even though they were only salads...

I was down 1.8 this morning, but still so far away from where I was!! I hope this week is good to keep me motivated to keep this diet up!! Happy Tuesday everyone!

I'm up .4 today so I'll take that as a fluctuation. I decided to not have the melba today and put a splash of milk in my coffee in place of it. I only plan on doing this today and we'll see what happpens.

Finally! No whoosh, but a loss of .5... I ordered the pellets and will start taking them when I get them, even though I still have drops left. I was thinking that perhaps I deactivated my drops through contamination as I have been HUNGRY! And not hungry like I was before, which was I can tell I should eat, but hungry hungry.

Day 1 of P2 for me today. I broke my wrist on the 3rd and had to have surgery on the 4th. Needless to say, I have done nothing but take pain pills and eat for the last 10 days. I am so swollen from water weight that my shoes are too tight and my face looks really fat and my weight is right back where I started from my last round.

I was suppose to leave for California for 10 days on Friday but we are postponing until end of August so that my arm has time to heal. So anyways, here I am again to join you all in losing this weight and then keeping it off.

Good Morning and Congratulations to all of us! I'm down .2 today and I WILL get under 200 before I end this round. I decided to go until the end of July because my bottle of Intermountain pellets has a lot more than enough for a 40-day round. That will give me a little over fifty days and I KNOW I'll get there.

What stamina you have! I struggle with a short round. :blush:

I am down .6 today. I'm finally below where I was a few days ago. I have two more days of VLCDs with drops. I'd love to see a 1-2# drop for my LDW... 167-168. I'd like to keep my window below 170!

We got some rain last night, which I love.

Cat, I so know what you mean about gaining back the whole last round. I did the same thing with the Jamaica trip and am still working on getting close. I am still up 12-14 lbs from the last round, but plugging away. Sorry about your wrist, hope it feels better soon, and we will be here to root you on!!

Welllll....I had a GREAT time in Sac seeing the American Idol concert!! We went out to dinner and I had a margarita on the rocks and a chicken/broccoli dinner. I was the same weight when I got home the next day, so while the marg. may have stalled me I didn't gain. But then...my home scale has said 168.4 since Saturday I went to my WW mtg last night and their scale said 166.4...so that is down 2.6 from last week's WI there. I was expecting a drop this morning on my scale but still...168.4 I'm giving it till tomorrow morning and if there is not a drop I'm doing an apple -or whatever- day to break this stall!

...and I'm just going to add for anyone who's followed American Idol James Durbin the rocker was THISCLOSE to me and he gave me a high-5!!!! I felt like a giddy little teenager

Glad to be back though! Have a great Wednesday everyone!!!

Greetings, everyone. Hope it's ok if I jump in. I am on my first day of P2, and just made my first meal--cabbage and chicken breast, stir-"fried" with a bit of chili garlic paste. Tasted great.

I am intending to follow the diet exactly as set forth in the booklet I got from Vox when I bought my pellets. It looks to be pretty much Simeon's, but very slightly more varied--they list a few more vegetable possibilities, a few more fruits, and several different brands of crackers for the starch portion of the plan. I think the Simeon's thread more closely matches Vox's version than the rogue threads do, so hope I can follow along with you guys in this thread. I figure since I am new at this, I will be more comfortable and more likely to succeed with very structured options, so I don't think rogue is for me.

Gosh--you girls have been amazingly successful. I'm inspired!

Jessica, glad to hear your VLCD1 went well. I thought about going rogue from the start but after hearing suggestions on sticking with protocol for the first round, I decided to go that route. Why tweak something I haven't even given a chance? I'm hoping to stick it out for 28 days and then if I want a change, I can do it in R2.

The only thing I'm doing off protocol is I haven't eliminated lotions, creams, etc. I'm also eating different vegetables at lunch and dinner.
