I am up 1.4 from yesterday I know I didn't get enough water in and I think I overdid it on the cream yesterday but I am trying to push the calorie envelope as I don't want to be stuck with low calories.

Happy Friday everyone! I'm feeling a bit fat today too, lol. Up one lb from yesterday but I'm ok with it. Potluck at work today but I made the main dish of shredded beef and everyone else is bringing the fixins so I will be ok.

On a personal note I went out with this guy that I have liked for a very long time but was with my ex at the time and needed some time to regroup(I waited 3 months after we broke up) He had asked me out a couple times but I wasn't ready so I'd said no initially, then called him last saturday to see a local band play. Well the night turned out amazingly, it was so fun to hang with him. And now its almost been an week and I am dying to hear from him but I will not call him, unless he calls me first. Here's the kicker, he knows my ex and my ex knows we went out. Hoping he didnt try to sabotage me by saying something to him. There's no reason that he shouldnt call and I think he is trying to play it the right way but the suspense is killing me. Thanks for letting me share. Cross your fingers for me.

Hi everyone and Happy Friday!

I started P3 officially on Wed but had to go out of town right off the bat. I wasn't able to weigh Thurs morning. Did ok with my food choices I think until on the way home last night met up with some family and we went out to a Chinese buffet. I thought I was making good choices but Bam! the scale showed a 3.2 gain from the the last time I weighed on Wed. Dang! So the question is...do I need to do a CD today? My weight on the morning of my last dose day was 163.1. The very next morning it was 163.3. Which do I use as my LDW? I guess either way I'm still in my window (barely) as my scale showed 165 this morning. It's a bummer tho cause the morning I left for my trip I had kind of a whoosh (for me) and weight was 161.8. So that's where I'm getting the 3.2 lb gain.

Would you all do CD? I'd really love to stay down on the low end of my window this P3.

only need to do a CD if you are OVER 2 lbs from LDW.

i did a CD (egg day) yesterday b/c i was 0.6 over my 2lb window. my egg day yielded a 2.2 loss!!

It's most likely sodium, chinese does that to me too. Tecnically you're still in your window so no correction day today but I would stick to no starch no sugar and eat light today if you want to see it go down. You will use 163.1 as your last dose weight. Once you're over 165.1 then do a cd. You kinda got a freebie gf, go with it.

You would use the 163.1 (last dose weight) and I think you could go either way. If you are more comfortable doing one, I would say go ahead, and if you would rather not, you could easily be down tomorrow with lots of water to flush the sodium... Good luck!

Ok, update from me. I finally got on the scale today since I am home. The injured kiddo is now headed to the third ER with his Dad to get the saltwater catfish barb scheduled to be surgically removed on Monday. Please keep him in your prayers. I am down 3.8 (3.5 inches total just in hips and waist) since leaving on vacay a week ago. I ate P3 the whole time but one day I didn't get to eat much because of the situation and almost no sleep on Wed night. I am not going to worry about it and see what happens in the next few days. I notice my shorts were falling off of me yesterday. I didn't know what the stress would do to counter it. **shrugs** My Dr. doesn't seem concerned either. I am over my P3 21 days and continuing it for a while.

Aw Shelby you are sweet. Yes, guys are a pain! I mean I like the fact that he is playing hard to get a little, and he did say all the right things as far as asking me if im still involved with my ex and what do I want in a relationship, and I dont think he is a player but you just never know. if it lasts that long this time i will jump off a bridge
will still keep taking my injections though, did last time and still lost
then stalled at the end

I can relate to your frustration. One of the main reasons for doing this was to reset all of my hormones. I would have TOM for 14 to up to 60 days at a time throughout my life. I have so far being reset to a three day TOM for the past two months. I am in heaven with it. Sorry that it has worked the opposite for you. I hope it is just a temp situation. Hang in there!

Hello Ladies - today is my first day on PH3 - I have been following the PH2 thread for awhile now. Didn't quite reach my 20 pound mark that I was hoping for but I came SUPER close -18.7 total. I plan on doing 1 more round once I complete PH3 to make my goal weight.

If anyone has any advice for me going into PH3, I'd love to hear it!

my correction day worked but day after back up 2 pounds on thur, today was the same, I load sat/sun so no worrying to much about it.this will be my second round. I am uping my protein to 4 ounces and not eating the melbas. I think it was way to hard with the breads, my body didn't like them, only lost 14 pounds in 40 days. doing another 40 if I can survivie it. I did discover the davinci sugar free syrup, I think my coffee has been a big issue to.. I like it loaded, so now maybe better results are coming. I NEED ICE CREAM LOL

P3 Strawberry Ice Cream

Semi-frozen strawberries (or other berries), stevia and heavy cream (with a pinch of salt and some vanilla extract if you like) in the Ninja, Bullet or blender.

Checking in with a 1.0 gain, which puts me out of my window. However, I have decided to commit my first protocol heresy and NOT do a correction day today. It just feels wrong intuitively and I am willing to ride it out.

I got totally off schedule yesterday, and while I ate correctly in terms of WHAT I ate, I started eating way too late in the day and didn't eat dinner until just before I went to bed for the night. I feel well, other than that, but plan to just eat correctly today and live with what happens. I need a break from working at this so hard, so I am not going to push anymore and take what comes.

1moretry --- eating late will definitely show a gain for me but if I just eat pretty much p3 the next day then it comes off. Riding it out to see what happens has it's benefits at times. Hope you have a great day!

Good morning everyone! Down a pound today to 138.6. Im 3 lbs under my window so feeling pretty good. My ultimate goal is 125-130 so i dont think enough to do another round. I know the point of p3 and 4 is to keep stable, but what if my appetite just isnt super big? I eat 2-3 small meals a day and go running every other day. My BMR is at 1450 but i dont think im getting to there every day. I eat until im not hungry, but not to the point of feeling full. Ive had one or two junk food days but other than that it is small portions of chicken, eggs, cheese, veggies, GY and berries. Is that okay? Any suggestion on those last 8-13 lbs?

Morning all. Did my second steak day yesterday. Down a pound. You know? They are easier than they sound. AGAIN what happened was that AFTER - like 6pm - 8pm I had major munchies.

Have gone 2 days now without pain meds. Encouraging. I really REALLY want to get to where I can exercise and start doing things with family and friends. Another week or two should do it.

Been thinking a LOT about doing a plan with one day of P4 eating and one day of low calorie - lean meat, lots of veggies, almost no fat. And doing that in the effort to lose a few more pounds. I think it's the safest way to go, and something I have never tried. Maybe my hypothalamus really HAS reset and so it will cooperate.

Yay, Red!!!! FYI I know this isn't on the protocol but my dr has been doing this for years and years with 85% success with people keeping it off permanently. Those who didn't went back to their old eating habits and mess up their hypothalamus again. He says you can lose during P3 slowly as long as you eat what you are supposed to on it with no carbs and sugar. You then do a couple of weeks of the two pound window at the weight you want to freeze for life or next round. I am on P3D27 and am doing well with it. The addition of carbs is the final chapter of your weight. Of course this is just how he does it.

what is your opinion on the importance of weighing at the same time every day and the accuracy of said weight?

i slept right thru my normal weigh time and weighed over and hour and half later than usual. would say that lends to an inaccurate weight? i *did* weigh...didn't like what it said. up 1.6 of the 2.2 i lost the day before which puts me exactly 2 lbs over LDW. but how much of that could be due to weighing at an abnormal time? would you consider it to be accurate? just going to keep things a lot lighter today on the food front. eating out again tonight...sigh...i enjoy it, but i don't....ya know? sometimes we just go in spurts of frequent eating out.

I'd just eat really clean today - drink tons of water and not worry too much about it aside from watching the salt at dinner.

I sort of adjust the amount of carbs, cheese, etc daily depending on where the scale is. If I'm up 2 pounds from set point, I take it easier. If you stick with a huge salad and protein - I'll bet you'll be fine!

There are just so many variables with salt and TOM - and it's so easy to stress about it all - I think it's just easier to adjust the plan for the day as you go.

I would hold off on the correction day as you know it is likely from eating late.
