Good morning girls! I'm still half asleep, but I'm smiling because I am down another .6 making it a total loss of 7 pounds in 6 days! My load weight isn't counted in there because I didn't weigh until afterwards. I didn't want to know! Hope everyone is doing great! Will be back later!

Hi Kd! 9.5 is excellent! Grats!

I misspoke in my post this morning. (See, I was half asleep! LOL!) My loss of 7 pounds in 6 days includes my load weight. I have no idea how much load weight was. I didn't want to weigh until it was over.

My 1st week totals are 13lbs lost. 9 of those are load btw. "ouch". I cant beleive i had to waste a whole week getting that load weight off. Im going to be more careful loading next time and only load w p3 style fats, etc. I think the bad foods (pasta, sugar, etc) just make me gain like crazy! It's ridiculous that i gained 9lbs in 2 days. I am obviously super carb sensitive and i know now that in order to maintain my weight loss, i can never eat "white" carbs on a regular basis ever again. And im ok with that. There are plenty of alternatives that i know of now, thanks to the wonderful people on this board.
Soooooo---who's ready for week 2? The "no hunger" week! I am!

This is P2, day 3 for me. Lost another 1.1lbs overnight. Woohoo! Going to workout tomorrow, so I expect a nice loss on Wednesday morning.

Now I’m under my pre-load weight. Got rid of that in 2 days

I am down .8 this morning!!

I am super happy with that because I had to go to Cheesecake Factory for dinner. I played it safe and got their "weight management grilled chicken" (and yes they really call it that:blush, but I was concerned because it had olive oil on it, which I must have missed on the description. So, that loss makes me happy.

I started a bit earlier than most, but have lost 12 lbs in the last 10 days.

I love HCG!!!

Wow! Kudos for you for staying strong at Cheesecake Factory! Honestly, I don't think I could have done it! They're pretty much the most decadent place out there, lol. You're kicking butt so far!!

I'm down .8 today. That's 8.2lbs in 10 VLCD'S.

Have a great day ladies!!

WOOOHOOO! So Proud of you!

I couldn't have made it at Cheesecake Factory either; there are somethings I just avoid.

I am week ahead of y'all but I am going to jump in and join you all! I need the support.

I am down 8.8 and on day VLCD17. Taking it slow because I am running and cycling! Although my average is .50 I am right on target! I crashed one day last week right before TOM arrived and ate cookies....terrible I know but I jumped right back on the wagon.

Congrats to everyone you guys are rockin' it!

My baby DS15 started driving school this morning. . . last one coming through!! Teens are stressful with driving and such!!

Have a great Monday, time to exercise now!

Good morning! Down 1.2 this morning - I was a little worried because I had onions for my dinner vegetable last night (cooked all day with a pot roast); my blood sugar was higher this morning but my weight was down, so I guess I'll keep onions as an occasional treat.

Funny on this diet, isn't it, when something like a Melba toast or a certain vegetable becomes a "treat" compared to what we used to eat!

Congratulations to everyone on their losses, no matter how big or small - and a big "good for you" for staying strong!

I'll be thinking about you! I'm baking today, too - chocolate peanut butter muffins (I don't like muffins so I'm ok there) and possibly carrot cake cupcakes (again, I don't like them). The challenge will be later this week when I do brownies for a party and chocolate chip cookies (care packages for my daughters who are away at school).

Good luck! We can do it!

Congrats on the loss! And yes, it is something when we think an onion is a treat! But whatever works, right?

WE CAN DO IT!! Good luck to you, too!! I'll be making the lemon cake Diva posted on the PG the other day. Mom didn't get around to making it last week like she wanted, so I'm making it into two 9-inch layers. Taking one to work (only 4 people will be eating it) and giving one to Mom. No temptation (hopefully).

I like chocolate and peanut butter, but could probably resist those, but the carrot cake? You'd have to tape my mouth and tie my hands.

1 week down, 7 lbs off including load weight. I'm happy as a clam. Today I'm in size 16 Old Navy jeans that I have not worn in over 2 years. Yay for me!!!

Congrats to everyone who is just doing it - cheats or not. We're human and have to remember that hcg is just a temporary life for us. The real work comes afterwards and believe me, thats when you need strength to say no.

Now onward!!!! Have a fab week everyone!

I've heard of it. I'm in Raleigh.

Nice losses girls!

And those of you that are baking. (I love to bake!)

I just had the yummiest lunch!

135 gm spaghetti squash, w/ 100 gm 96% lean ground beef and a scant 1/4 cup pizza sauce . 227 calories total.

I guess I'm rogue, lol. I figure, if I am going to eat 500 calories a day, no fat, no sugar...I'm going to eat what I want. I mean, you can't not lose on 500 calories.

My apologies for being a bad influence!

I posted in last weeks thread, too! Oops!

No loss to report...day three of 151, but it IS TOM. Plus, I'm down 8.5 pounds in 7 days, so I won't complain. I'm sure there will be a decent woosh tomorrow--but I am with Cathy when she says that when there isn't any movement on the scale it makes it easy to "second guess" and doubt the process. I WILL be patient. I WILL be patient!

Oh, and Cathy--are you saying I should stay off the streets of FoCo today???

I'm sure he will do great!

Have a great week, all-

Kay

Kay...hahaha... still safe. HE is just in class this whole week and then has to pass the permit test and then they will let him start driving with an adult! Hubby of course, I will wait a while! Teens and driving drive me crazy!! scary stuff!!

As for the scale, I am so feeling for you. I am also super duper impatient. Bad combo! I am hoping for a swoosh for you tomorrow!! (and me!!) Turbo kickboxing tonight, and i Usually have at least a small loss the day after, so I can hope right?

debkeversole- I have everything you said you have pcos, IR. I have been seeing a reproductive doctor and they have me on a vitamin called folbic which is Bvitamins and folic acid and I take a prenatal which I know has Niacin in it that is why I wondered if I was getting to much b vitamins. I will try eating more meat I definately have been feeling flushed and weird. I do take a new blood pressure med and have been taking it for 2wks now and it has a side effects of flushing but it just started this past week. I have no idea what this feeling is. Also in 7d of the low calorie I have lost 13lbs,lost 2 today.

I did just look up the folbic it has folic acid, b-6, and b-12...so I dont think it has niacin which is b-3 right?

Towards the end of a course or when a patient has nearly reached his normal weight it occasionally happens that the blood sugar drops below normal, and we have even seen this in patients who had an abnormally high blood sugar before treatment. Such an attack of hypoglycemia is almost identical with the one seen in diabetics who have taken too much insulin. The attack comes on suddenly; there is the same feeling of light-headedness, weakness in the knees, trembling, and unmotivated sweating; but under HCG, hypoglycemia does not produce any feeling of hunger. All these symptoms are almost instantly relieved by taking two heaped teaspoons of sugar.

In the course of treatment the possibility of such an attack is explained to those patients who are in a phase in which a drop in blood sugar may occur. They are instructed to keep sugar or glucose sweets handy, particularly when driving a car. They are also told to watch the effect of taking sugar very carefully and report the following day. This is important, because anxious patients to whom such an attack has been explained are apt to take sugar unnecessarily, in which case it inevitably produces a gain in weight and does not dramatically relieve the symptoms for which it was taken, proving that these were not due to hypoglycemia. Some patients mistake the effects of emotional stress for hypoglycemia. When the symptoms are quickly relieved by sugar this is proof that they were indeed due to an abnormal lowering of the blood sugar, and in that case there is no increase in the weight on the following day. We always suggest that sugar be taken if the patient is in doubt.

Once such an attack has been relieved with sugar we have never seen it recur on the immediately subsequent days, and only very rarely does a patient have two such attacks separated by several days during a course of treatment. In patients who have not eaten sufficiently during the first two days of treatment we sometimes give sugar when the minor symptoms usually felt during the first three days of treatment continue beyond that time, and in some cases this has seemed to speed up the euphoria ordinarily associated with the HCG method
