~Firecracker Girls !~ Week Starting July 4th

Where's my girls? Anyone who loaded over the long 4th of July weekend is a firecracker girl! Post and let us know how you are doing. :)

I'm starting VLCD1 today. I loaded with soo much crap! It was fun up until last night when it all started catching up with me. I'm ready to start losing now. How are you guys doing? :)

kaylem 07-05-2011 05:34 AM

I like that...Firecracker girls...Nice!

I loaded on the 3rd and 4th as well, and today is my VLCD1. I was up to 159.5 after loading, which isn't too bad. It will disappear fast. I'm with YOU Balance, I ate a LOT of crap last night as well, and I'm definitely ready to clear it all out of me and start losing again.

Here we go!

Balance101 07-05-2011 05:37 AM

I love the name too! I can't take credit it for it though. I think Mini Monkey came up with it for us. :)

Have a great day Kay! It's going to be an awesome week!

kaylem 07-05-2011 05:49 AM

Love minimonkey. That it totally a name she would think of! :)

catjrow3 07-05-2011 07:44 AM

I am with you "firecracker girls" I also loaded and feel gross as all get out this morning! I have been off my wagon off and on so many times in the last month anyway, since I went to Jamaica, and now... I have to relose it all again from my last 2 rounds, and I dont lose much on each round, so hopefully it will go a little quicker, but I am back and ready to commit and hopefully get back where I was in May!!! VLCD day 1 for me too

minimonkey 07-05-2011 07:45 AM

Well, I wish I had come up with that name, but I don't think I did ;)

I'm here and ready to bring it on with sparks and a bang, though.... starting my p2 leaning out phase today. Fire it up!!

miamiloca 07-05-2011 08:24 AM

Im here! And im sick....bleh! And up a crazy 9LBS! Im sure most of it is water/food/salt, etc. But i feel GROSS! Im not feeling very "firecrackery" right about now. Im chugging h2o to try to flush out all this crap asap. I unfortunately am not feeling very "into" doing this round either. (this is round 3 for me) But im hoping as the week progresses and i start seeing losses i will feel more motivated. I will be breaking a major major set point this round so im hoping busting thru that will get me fired up to do this!

doxielove 07-05-2011 09:22 AM

I loaded over the last two days, also - gained five pounds and feel gross, too! So ready to do this, although I may be hating life by the end of the day. VLCD1 starting at 172.8 (5'3")...we can do this! have a great day everyone!

Kd did 07-05-2011 09:44 AM

Oh, the first few days are sooo tough! I'm sure I am going to starve to death. I hope it gets better. I am trying Hhcg Pellets this round instead of the RX injections I did in previous rounds. So far, I am just not feeling the effects of the hcg. I'm a little worried that my pellets got so hot during shipping. We are having a heat wave, and when I opened the box the bottles were very hot to the touch. Regardless, I am determined to succeed. If all else fails, I have the supplies to mix up a round of RX if needed. Just having female hormone problems, and was hoping Hhcg would be a better option for me. Best of luck to everyone! Thanks for the constant motivation and support. It goes a long way in keeping me on track.

shannashimmers 07-05-2011 10:05 AM

Day 1 today for me to, I gained 4lbs from loading and feel gross. The first week to me is hell I used hhcg last time and was hungry alot I'am used to do the injections. Taking some of my left over drops and I have the pellets coming so I'am going to switch during hope that is ok guess we will see. Good luck everyone!

Balance101 07-05-2011 10:10 AM

Lunchtime! I sauteed 3.6 ozs of chicken, 2 cups of shredded cabbage, and half of an apple, and threw some spices on it. It's not very good but when my dogs looked at my food, I'm so hungry... I think I growled at them! :o

It's ok, nothing is more important to me than getting rid of this weight once and for all. I am so sick of feeling like my life is passing me by. We can do this ladies!!

Kd did 07-05-2011 10:28 AM

Thanks for the encouragement. It's been a year since my last round. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, and the overwhelming hunger is perfectly normal the first few days. Does seem rather familiar... ;-)

shannashimmers 07-05-2011 12:30 PM

I have not eaten anything yet today but an apple and melba toast. I messed up and didnt prepare anything so I have nothing to eat in my house right now I need to go to the grocery store.

ASHLEY2HAWAII- How are you eating the popcorn and stuff? are you doing something alittle different

ASHLEY2HAWAII 07-05-2011 12:38 PM

shannashimmers, hi, yes I am doing the Omaha Med spa plan with hhcg. It allows for a 100 cal bag of popcorn for the grain portion of the diet. I like to have that for lunch with a piece of fruit, plus it adds lots of fiber! I think several of us that just started this round are following the Omaha plan. I love it cause it offers a little more variety and you can mix the veggies. I did the first round strict by the book, and lost about 22 lbs, but this time I wanted to try this version.
Good luck to you

shannashimmers 07-05-2011 12:54 PM

I have done the hcg diet several times I have lost 55lbs. I get so bored with it so this is an option for me. Have you heard from people about the weight loss is it similar to the simeons or do they lose slower? I may try this I like the idea of having some different vegetables

ASHLEY2HAWAII 07-05-2011 12:57 PM

I think the results are simular, there are several threads that have people doing this plan as well as other tweeked plans. I go off plan due to bordom, this just offers more choice.

shannashimmers 07-05-2011 12:59 PM

oh and what do you do on P3 of the omaha plan? I read something about it being different

ASHLEY2HAWAII 07-05-2011 01:04 PM

Ive not done the p3 in Omaha, I did really screw it up on the strict version and gained the 20 lbs back. This time I will follow the plan better. Also with the Omaha plan I might just stick with it till the weight is gone.

shannashimmers 07-05-2011 01:24 PM

do you know what the p3 in the omaha is? I have done both with p3 done bad and gained weight back some and done great and kept it off. I really think p3 is the key to keeping the weight off because the time I was really strict with it I never gained any weight back

This is what the Dr said about the phase 3 protion of the diet.

Is the 3 weeks of no starch and no sugar + 3 weeks of slowly adding in starch (total of 6 weeks) required before starting another round of HCG on the Omaha MedSpa Diet?

No – because I allow more calories per day, our participants can start another cycle right away – that way they also stay committed, and are more likely to achieve their ultimate weight loss goal.
