I mixed 5 mil bac water to 5,000iu rx hcg, first round I did 18ml (which is equivelent to 180iu) on a 50ml insulin needle for 15 days then I lowered it to 17ml (equivelent to 170iu) for 11 days. So I got 26 days of doses that round.
This round I mixed the same way and am dosing at 160iu, 16ml on the syringe and should be able to get 30 days out of this round, unless I decide to lower it again, then I will be able to get a few more. Hope that kinda helps! |

Down .8 this morning. Almost LDW from last round.
I did end up eating 1100 calories yesterday. The hunger was seriously bad...as in I couldn't think of *anything* else pretty much all day. Felt better after I ate. Looking at my calendar...wondering if this is ovulation related...the pains started yesterday. I didn't used to get hungry at that time, but who knows, things change. Totally glad to see everyone with big releases! Mine are small, but that's ok, I never lost the load weight so fast as on this round (cause I never gained so little). Surprising, since I loaded well over 5000 calories over the 2 days! Steaks on the menu today, so looking forward to a bright brand new clean day!

Good Morning!
Enjoying a cool morning here in Colorado after rainstorms all night. Love the periodic cool downs we get! Today is vlcd4, and I am down one more pound to 153.5. Still recovering from my gains in June, so just happy to see the scale moving DOWN and not UP! I left for Texas on June 1st weighing 147...I will be VERY happy if I can get there again! Starting to have some concerns on two fronts: 1st: My hubby is NOT thrilled with me doing hcg again. He is worried that it will become my "yo yo" of choice. Which is strange to me, because I've never really been a yo yo dieter. I've been trying to lose weight for a very long time, and just haven't been able to find the right combination that worked. My thinking was that I really screwed up in June, needed to fix some bad habits that had begun again, and I KNEW how to fix it with hcg. To me, everything else is just wasting time. The best thing about hcg for me is the elimination of cravings. It works wonders for me. This will be a tough round if he is not supportive like he was before. I know that he just cares about my health and wants me to be safe, but if he isn't supporting me, it tends to undermine my success. Second concern: we are going camping for four days next weekend with friends. We will leave on VLCD10. You will hear me bring this up a lot b/c I am mildly freaking out about how I will stay on protocol. I KNOW I could totally do it if I were in P3 with no problem, but p2? I'm working on a plan, but I don't want to call a lot of attention to the fact that I'm eating so differently than everyone else. Any ideas? ![]() Kay

My husband wasn't thrilled with me trying hcg either. Actually, he told me "no". (LOL, silly husband.) I had a talk with him and told him that I was not happy with my life and that I needed to do this for myself. I told him that I understand that he is not happy with my choice, but that if he doesn't want this to be another waste of time, I need his support. He's been great since then. And he is enjoying seeing me happy rather than dragging around feeling sorry for myself because nothing else is working.
As for camping, hmm... I have never been but if you have your husband on your side it will make things easier. I don't think there is anything wrong with letting people know you are trying to lose a few pounds. ![]() Good luck Kay. I your new avatar! |

Good morning! Didn't sleep well at all; I've been watching infomercials and TMZ since 3:00 am! (Never a good thing; always "as seen on tv" products I want to buy and they never work like they're supposed to!)
Anyway, you all know I was depressed and discouraged yesterday and I ended up going off plan last night - curled up with a good book and some snacks, my stomach felt terrible by bedtime and my heart was racing (probably why I didn't sleep well). BUT, I feel like I got it out of my system and I am ready to make a clean, fresh start today, with a few modifications to my rogue-ish plan. (Ended up with a gain of 0.8, btw.) B - 1 individual container low fat cottage cheese L - P2 chili made with 99% lean ground turkey breast, 1 1/2 cups zucchini D- same as lunch Try for more water today - at least 10 8oz glasses (water is hard for me) I am also upping my dose from 17 to 20 on the insulin needle. I am having trouble calculating my calories on the P2 chili. Going to make it with 40 oz of turkey (2 packages, they were all 1.25 lbs), which, if I calculated it correctly, makes 12 3.33 oz servings. I would use 6 cans of no sugar, diced tomatoes, throw in one 6 oz can of tomato paste and some chili powder, garlic powder, a little sea salt (I really don't like heat). I come up with about 187 calories per serving...does that seem right? Please don't ask me to use ******; it's frustrating for me (embarrassing, but true). Any feedback would be appreciated! Let's all have a great day!

![]() Look at your awesome new avatar! You look great! My husband wasn't thrilled with this plan either. We agreed I'd go to all my doctors (three of them) and if any of them said I shouldn't do it, I wouldn't. They all gave me their blessing. Yesterday morning he said, "maybe I'll do the next round with you." Are you kidding me? He won't be able to do it, but it was funny he has come full circle on it. As for camping, just preportion out your foods and label them. Friday lunch, Friday supper, whatever. You don't have to call attention to it, just say you're not hungry or something. Or telling them you're eating this way for your healt. You are, aren't you? YOU CAN DO THIS!!Quote:

WOW, Lisa, great avatar!!! What a big change in your face!!! (We can't see your body, but I am sure it has changed a lot, too.) GREAT WORK!!!! Paula, I am wishing us both less hungry days today -- it is awful being truly hungry. I don't mind a sort of nagging background hunger, but that screaming hunger is really no fun at all. |

Morning Firecrackers!!
Lisa, - love the new avi!! Kay, - love your new Avatar too!! As for the hubby, well.... thats tough. I hope he comes around to it. Its better to "nip it in the bud" then to slide all the way back up and then have to completely redo it. I agree eating healthy is best, but on the HCG, you do eat healthy, just not alot of it. I would prefer a nice low carb menu, but I cannot lose any weight on it.... As for camping, first off, have fun! I am an INDOOR girl myself, but maybe just try sticking to chicken, steak grilled on the grill and fruit? as for the veges can you cook them on there? or bring some lettuce/salad stuff? Worst case, eat as close to P3 and small portions as you can and recover when you get back? Paula, yeah!! Almost back ... 0.8 is a respectable drop to be sure!! I hear you on the hunger, I was hungry last night and ate some extra salad and (hanging head) a couple bites of ice cream.., and today, 0 loss! Nothing! BOOO!! Well, such is the way of it!! Doxie, I know how you feel hun. Next time, try to find something to do with your hands, or go for a walk, it helps to not "sit and munch" if we can find a way to keep busy. Today is another day! We are here for you! Balance, I agree... silly husbands.!!! I am glad he is behind you now! It helps. Mine is doing it too, so no worries there!! Mariah - nice job on the losses Have a great day everyone!! TTFN

Wow. Everyone is doing so well. Amazing. Way to go, sisters!
I have been doing HCG now for 5 days. I really feel a difference. I am slimmer, but cold, and can't stop peeing. But I am able to resist food for the first time in years. It's like the feeling I have when I am in love: "Eat food? I couldn't be less interested". I love it. This is what I want to live like...self-control. I lost 5 pounds using Stillman's before starting HCG. I am going to stick with that eating plan while using the HCG. The reason is the days I tried following the protocol with HCG I had wild cravings for carbs. The fruit and melba toast sent me into carb cravings. I wasn't losing weight as a result. I have lost 2 pounds since switching back to Stillman's. Stillman's is low fat, zero carb, high protein. I am keeping to the 500 cals. I hate having carb cravings. Anyway, it is good to be here.

Lost 3lbs yesterday, but I have been feeling really bad starting lastnight. I checked my sugar and it was fine but even noticed that my blood pressure was up some the past few nights. I would think all this would be better makes me frusterated. I'am still waiting on the pellets to get here because the hcg I have I know has no hcg in it andit says it is mixed with collodial minerals and water. Well I looked those minerals up and it says they are not that good for you so i really do not want to take them anymore. I'am actually thinking about not taking them today and following protocol and see if I feel better maybe it is the drops? not sure.
As far as my husband goes he is not that thrilled with me being on the diet. He told me it was like cheating!? I got mad and was like I dont see how you can say that it is extremely hard I do not know why he thinks it is easy. He also does all the cooking and right now I can not eat anything, but lucky for him he does not have to worry about weight at all. He tells me all the time I'am getting to skinny HAHA which is a joke I still need to lose at least 30 more lbs. |

Shanna, I want you to know you should come here for support. Any person who would put you down and say you are cheating by finding this product is not very supportive. This is my opinion. I would keep my mouth closed around him about it because he sounds very much like someone who likes to sabotage you. Why does he do all the cooking? He sounds to be a controller. You could blame him for your weight if that is the case and tell him you need outside help to fix his damage. How could he say you are getting to skinny if you have 30 to lose? Sounds like he wants to keep you at a certain weight so you will not be attractive to other men. Control comes from fear. He is afraid. Don't let him hold you back.
Just come here to talk and keep moving forward. Never mind his opinion. You are doing the right thing. Sorry, I just hate when men have to be controlling. I was with someone like that before and can't stand it. Last edited by chrissym; 07-08-2011 at 10:01 AM.. |

Only .4 more to go to get into virgin territory (I weighed a little less the day after my LDW). Actually, I think this is what I weighed the day after LDW so I should be in virgin territory tomorrow. Woohoo!Great losses everyone. KUTGW! Last edited by Ravenj9; 07-08-2011 at 10:09 AM.. |

Morning, girls! I was starting to multi-quote, but I realize I'm way behind and I would take 2 pages to respond
so I'm just gonna say YAY for all of the losses around here! Everyone is doing so well! And I agree with Lisa, let's not compare our losses to each other b/c we are all different in so many ways -- that's a lesson I learned the hard way on my first round as I got so frustrated with slow losses compared with everyone else's, but ya know what? At the end of the round I was down 14 lbs., and that's a very good thing! As for me, today I'm down another 3.8 lbs., which means that my ridiculous load weight of 10.6 lbs. is almost gone! I'm down 9.8 lbs. in my first 2 VLCDs. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be past my load weight and into "real" weightloss! Have a righteously firecrackery day girls!__________________

Well if I said anything to make my husband sound controlling which I guess it did I take that back. He is not at all, he just thinks losing weight should be working out and cutting back but like I said he does not know because he has never been there. I think he tells me I'am getting to skinny to try and make me feel good. He has always done all the cooking because he loves to it is a hobby of his, and I did not get fat from his cooking it is mostly grilled meat and vegetables he is a real healthy eater. I probably got fat because I got sick of it and would go out to eat with my friends etc. I have always rather eat out and stuff that is bad for me that is just how I'am. I will just complain about not feeling good and he says no wonder you lost 10lbs in 3 days I think he thinks it is unhealthy. With that being said I dont really talk to him much about it. I have been in a bad controlling relationship before and this one is not. In fact I sometimes hate that he is not jealous or anything at all haha.
I do what I want when I want no matter what...so I will be continuing on the diet until I'am where I want to be! ![]() |
