Ok, here is my meal plan for the day:

B: 7 sliced strawberries and coffee
S: 1/2 apple + 1 Melba
L: 3.5 oz shrimp + 2C broccoli (had to punt b/c I am out of salad! I'm leaving right after this to go get some...) + 1/2 apple + yerba mate hot tea
D: Still figuring that one out....I have some lean hamburger, so maybe some taco meat over salad.

Oh ok I'am thinking about trying it just not sure if adding some popcorn and stuff would make me gain or not lose good. I do like the idea of squash I love it, and I have such a hard time with the vegetables on this diet. I still have not eaten any food today

Hey Shanna-I season it w/ chili powder, cumin, garlic, salt, pepper, onion powder, and some cilantro for good measure. It tastes REALLY good, and you can't even tell that there is no sugar in it. (The pre-mixed packages contain sugar and other bad stuff).

If I haven't had two fruit servings already, I will also cut up a tomato or use salsa (NO SUGAR) to count as one of my fruit servings. But really, you don't need it. Try it!

started VLCD1 today too redo of round 8 for me only gained three pounds loading which is low for me i have been known to gain 11:blush::blush: so todays weight was 302.8 hoping to lose 15 on a 23 day round

I'm here....I loaded 3rd and 4th...well and a half load day today....there are TONS of leftovers from our giant BBQ yesterday.....tomorrow I will be offically in P2!!

BTW I feel incredibly DISGUSTING for over extending my load days!!! I wasn't even hungry but it was there....so I ATE!!!

Hello fellow Firecracker Girls! Woohoo!!

This is VLCD1 after two days of loading. I gained one pound each day so hopefully I can get these two pounds off quickly and get into virgin territory. I really would like to lose at least 15 lbs this round but that may be unrealistic considering I lost 14 on the first round and 9 on the second round. Oh well, I'll take whatever I can get. I was a little hungry today but I guess that's to be expected. Looking forward to tomorrow morning on the scale.

I'm struggling with my decision to do a 3rd load day....but I think it would have been a recipe for disaster if I hadn't....I don't want to have the 'it's JUST ONE day' kind of attitude, this is for the rest of my life!!

Hoping I didn't set myself up for failure this round....and encouragement and support or advice is welcomed

I've read in some places that it is "3" load days, so I think you'll be fine. Don't sweat it! Load up for the rest of the day and then you can starve like the rest of us! LoL, j/k. It's already getting better for me.

this is round 2 for me...and I honestly haven't had true hunger since I started round 1, not even in my 25 days of P3!!

everything just looked SOOOOOOO good!! LOL OK I'll be fine thanks!!

Glad to know I'm not the only one who is hungry! My plan for the day is:

B: nothing
L: 3.5 oz thin chicken breast grilled with WF bbq sauce, zucchini, 2 celery sticks dipped in a little WF bleu cheese dressing
D: fire roasted tomatoe soup (if I can find where I put that recipe!), 3 oz hamburger, zucchini
S: 1/2 cherries

Omaha Plan - wasn't going to do any grains but boy, the thought of popcorn in front of the tv tonight is reeeaaalllyyyy tempting!

I think I'am going to try this omaha plan and see how it goes. I have been hungry today too which I always am at first. Where do you get the WF dressings only online?

Marocka- I wouldnt worry about doing 3 load days I always did the injections and it was always 3 days because they say that is how long it takes the hcg to get in your system. I do notice that alot of the drops say 2 days not sure why.

Ladies, today was my first VLCD. I carb loaded on the 3rd, and fat loaded yesterday - cause otherwise I tend to have a gain after my first VLCD.

I got a little tired and rundown in the afternoon, but am feeling good now.

VLCD2-down 1.5 lbs! Whoohoo! It's a good thing too. I needed some motivation to deal with this massive hunger. I know the first few days are rough. Hopefully, in a couple of days it will get better.

for those of you that have made the P2 chili I ended up using ground chicken, I measured but ended up just making a big pot so probably 5 meals worth. Have any of you did it this way and if so how much do you measure out to eat now? It tasted pretty good just so tired of grilled chicken

I just finished my second load day today and will start my 1st VLCD tomorrow. Very excited to start actually. Man, I feel horrible on these load days. I think the HCG really does curb my appetite. I literally forced myself to eat. I don't know if I had eaten enough fat, hopefully I did. So nervous to weigh myself tomorrow

Well, I use extra protein so I would divide it slightly differently - but I generally would know the weight of the meat in the package, and divide by the portion I need (3.5 in your case a bit more in mine) and see how many that makes. I then just take my pan of chili, divide it and portion out. If the number doesn't even out then I get a little extra (you could also give a bit extra to your dogs if you didn't use onions).


I wasn't impressed with my first day's loss (1.2). HOWEVER, it is all of my load weight... and that's great to be through the load weight. Now I'm back to Sunday's weight. 2.4 pounds more to get back to thursday's weight...which was my lowest on P3. After that it's virgin weight.

Good Morning!

VLCD2 and down 2.5 pounds to 157...pre-load is 155, so not too bad. Still a bit bummed that I "gave up" and let myself gain 10 pounds, but feeling really good about "getting back to it" and re-gaining control!

Not sure what my meal plan will be today. So far it will look something like this:

B: coffee+ 7 strawberries
S: 1 Melba
L: 1/2 Apple+??? I need to grill some chicken this morning for salads!

Hi everyone! Grats on the weight loss ladies! And good luck to those of you starting today! Kay, your chili sounds so good, might have to try that today!

I am down 2.2 pounds this morning which is great, but I've gained so much in the past week. That's ok. My goal for the first round (and I plan on doing 3) is 25 pounds, so I'll just chip away at it a bit at a time.

Here is my menu for yesterday:

B: Coffee w/ 1 T FF half and half
4 melba toast snacks
1/2 apple

L: 3.6 oz chicken breast
2 cups shredded cabbage
1/2 apple

D: 3.6 oz chicken breast
2 cups spinach
1 large mushroom
2 cups FF chicken broth

S: 3 strawberries w/ stevia

Total Calories: 488

I was a bit hungry yesterday, but thankfully it wasn't constant. I felt it at lunch time and before bed mostly. I think that's pretty good for day 1 though and I'm sure it will be better today! Have a great day ladies!

I'm down 1.6 this morning. I have .4 to go to lose my load weight and 1.8 to go to get back to LDW from R2. Here's my VLCD2 menu for today.

Breakfast - Half Grapefruit w/Stevia
Lunch - 3.7oz chicken breast and 1 cup cabbage
Snack - 1 cup strawberries w/Truvia
Dinner - 3.5oz steak and roasted radishes

I don't change my menu up too much so you will see this menu a lot.

Really hoping I can knock all this off quickly and get a good look at all this new muscle I've acquired!

Day 1 was ridiculously easy -- let's hope that continues for another 22 days. (I think I am shooting for a short round this time.)

Breakfast this morning was so good!

1/2 apple chopped up and put in a bowl with a little water, stevia & cinnamon. Nuke for 1 min 30. Crumble melba toast snacks on top and mix it up and let sit a bit. The toast gets soft from the water and it's like a hot apple cereal!

monkey, I can't imagine you looking any better than you already do. I'm surprised though, this is my first round and I am not very hungry at all! This is awesome! We're going to kick butt!

So my morning report...

After skyrocketing over 10 lbs with 3 days more or less of loading.. I was down a full 10 lbs this morning! In one day, yesterday 174.4, this morning 164.4... I knew it was water... I felt like my skin was being stretched, and I am still way over where I ended last round, but hopefully it will come under control again! I was 100% on plan yesterday, which for me is a feat in itself. I have a tendency to "nibble" and I am not going to do it this time.... Heres to getting rid of 10 in one day.

Heres to gaining control of the binge beast again!!

Plan for today:
B: Coffee
L: Romaine lettuce/chicken/grissini (again)
AS: Apple or Orange
D: Hamburger and Tomatoes/grissini
DS: Apple or Orange

Will also continue my exercising this round, and Hoping for another great day of no hunger and nice losses (although they will be small now, since I dropped so much water in 1 day!!)
