Aaahhhh P3 at last.
Mmmm, bacon I love you. C'mere lip gloss I've missed you! Made bacon at 6am while getting ready for work. I dropped a piece on the floor but packed it for work anyway, lol. 5 second rule!!! Picked up an iced sugar free vanilla latte breve at my fav coffee place. My tummy is in shock right now. I think it's the coffee. Ow.Beezer~ I'm sure that she knew you would have to cook everything if you all ate low carb, that's really crappy on her part. Go stay at her house soon, lol. 1Moretry and Lilac~ Amazing difference in your faces you look awesome ladies!

I lost 2 so far, so only 4 above now, doing correction day today, so hope scale is down , if not went to publix and bought greek yogurt and strawberries for saturday if I need another one. I load next sat/sun so only have another week. What did you eat on load days? Mary |

Hey :-)
I did the steak day. I thought it would be a nightmare to go all day without eating. Every time I was hungry, I guzzled water with lemon. It TOTALLY wasn't as bad as I thought it would be! Then at 5pm I had a big rib eye steak with melted gorgonzola cheese on top and a fat beefsteak tomato. Worked pretty good! Hope it goes well for you. :-) |

Down another 1.2 this morning to land me just below LDW. Wine for the next two nights though so I fully expect to be trying to get this weight off again early next week!
Happy Friday, all! |

My doctor and Taubes both say that there's no such thing as an "essential carbohydrate" (like there are essential fatty acids and essential amino acids). I am trying to sort out how (or IF) I can get my blood sugar down to 100 or below without medications and this whole thing is an experiment for me, as nothing I tried in the past has worked, either to get rid of the fat OR to get my diabetes under control. Massive food allergies only complicated things for me, and so far I am making good progress with those using the lasering technique and the basic allergy kit. Checking in with a slight gain today in both weight (up 0.6 lb, but still within window) and blood sugar (146 again), and these both seem to be normal day-to-day fluctuations and basically level. I am welcoming the respite from P2 and enjoy experimenting with new foods, but want to get back to losing fat again at the same time. It is clear my body needs this break and the reshaping continues. I can see that there are good reasons other than the dreaded "immunity" for waiting several weeks between rounds. I have lost another inch in my waist and the fat is redistributing itself in all the right places. I was somewhat disturbed by how haggard I looked at the end of P2, but those places that were all sunken and lumpy have now smoothed out and I am seeing muscle mass coming back that had been lost, too. There were places where there was almost no fat at all under my skin (I could see coloration from the tissue under the skin), so it has me wondering why Simeons said that HCG did not touch normal fat, only the abnormal fat. What I am observing in myself suggests otherwise, but now that the reshaping is redistributing what's left in ways that look good to me, I don't really care about the theory as much. It seems to be working, and that's what counts in the end. I still have way too much visceral fat and my husband keeps reminding me that that will be addressed in my next round of P2. So far I seem to not be having large swings up or down, and that suggests to me that I have a new set point that is just above my LIW, so all in all, it feels like things are working as they should. The diabetes question MAY be resolved when I lose the rest of this fat, but that is still months away for me, so only time will tell.

) I have had my usual 3 cups of coffee and I guzzle mine with heavy whipping cream. No matter which CD I choose to do, either the GY day, egg day or steak day I cannot do without my coffee. I also have tried doing a CD without the coffee to see if I lost better. I didn't so I continue drinking my cups of joe without guilt! Do not fear the heavy whipping cream on a CD!!! ![]() |

Pardon me, I am a P2 lurker
1moretry - I know you said before that you weren't sure if your hcg had been ineffective the whole time. Have you now come to the conclusion that it was OK since your reshaping is coming along better now? |

welcome, Dreamchaser! I lurked in the P3 thread for a few weeks before I started, also -- it's a big help!
Today, down another half pound, which is really weird since I had BBQ ribs for dinner (Memphis style, so pretty salty!) and I thought I'd be up. I'm now under my window again, so will have to suffer through another one of my cream cheese/strawberry/stevia concoctions. Oh, the things we do . . . . Seeing the doctor in an hour or so -- getting bloodwork back from right smack in the middle of P2. This should be interesting to see whether anything was elevated, as others have found. But, I'm 6 pounds less than when he saw me last, so he'll like that -- Have a great day, everybody!

Morning all,
Just checking in. Haven't weighed, but let me tell you I ate a record amount of calories yesterday. And, I just didn't care. I made sure I didn't mix in any carby stuff like tortillas, (or beer), so I was unabashedly free. At one point, I mixed a wonkin' lotta whipped cream with agave syrup and mascarpone cheese together and heaped it, in all it's glorious moundage, over some strawberries. Later in the evening, my husband wanted to make some "cocoa crack". Ordinarily I would opt out, because I already had like a million calories. "Sure! Who cares?", I said. (Bad attitude day - sick of being sick stuff). So - then had some cocoa crack. Stayed P3 foods all day, and it'll be interesting to see if THIS ends up in a gain. |

OOO-ga-ooo-ga-OOO-ga-ooo-ga-OOO-ga-oo-ga . . .
![]() Guess who just had a blue ribbon visit with the doctor? Cholesterol is beautiful -- he just said to quit the statin. And, this is a man who LOVES Lipitor, so this was a big deal! Blood pressure is still down, so he wants to give it one more month just to be sure, and then I come off the BP meds. I demanded a weigh-in (he says, "You're the only patient who insists on getting on the scale here . . . ") and I was down another 6 pounds since I saw him last -- He asked how I did it -- this guy is a serious AMA straight arrow, rolls his eyes at anything alternative, so I just said, "Low carb." Someday, I may tell him about HCG. Maybe. |

Hi Ladies, pardon me for jumping in here. I have a quick question for Beezer Louisiana. Did you follow the S. protocol when you got started, or did you do low carb from the beginning? Do you have to do low fat when you do low carb? I was thinking of using Pam cooking spray and ICBINB spray on my fish.
