I had 2 days of -0- losses my first week, but each day after those 0's I would get a loss of 1.5-2 lbs. I definitely think it's just our body's catching up to the bigger daily losses. I will take a few day's stall vs. a few week's like I saw with other plans!

Yup, just gotta keep remembering that! Its a process!! I am relosing losses, which really sucks. In May I was 146-148, and then went on vacation to Jamaica and could not get my "head on straight" again and went up 15-17 lbs and now am reworking it!! HOpefully it goes quickly... I am sick of dieting! LOL

Hello all!
I'm VLCD19 and doing an apple day today in hopes of shaking up the scale. Haven't had a very encouraging round so far with only 9 lbs of VF lost in 19 days. Can't WAIT for P3! I'm starting to have little 'cheats' and that's not a good thing. 4 more days of this and P2 will be history Fage yogurt is calling me.... |

Hi all!! Back for round 2 - 5 days in, down 5 lbs. Wish it was more but only because this time I packed on 4 lbs on load days. Didn't do that the first time. During p3, I kept all but 1.5 of my weight off, so I think I was clinically depressed at first glance of r2. Hahaha
Onward though!! I need to get to 175!! |

Two nights ago I fell off the wagon and ate the (delicious!) crab cakes and grilled corn on the cob I made for my hubby. I also only drank 50oz of water & was up over 2#s yesterday. I admit to having a hard time this round. I don't know what it is, but I am struggling. Technically it's vlcd16 for me (13.8#s lost, 9.8 net), which isn't bad considering my cheats... I'm debating just finishing my round and starting P3 on the 18th or going to the 21st. We have a out of town wedding the following weekend and I need to be in P3 for. I am considering another round in September or October... it would be nice to be in the 140's again (haven't seen that range in over a decade). I need to be sure I'm committed before I start, though. |

The apple day released 1.8 lbs...yay! I even screwed that up apparently bc I read the protocol (after the fact) and I was not supposed to drink anything all day except for just enough water to quench a thirst and only if I really needed to. And if course I drank water, herb tea, coffee. ...whatever. That was yesterday, I'm moving on ![]()

Glad it worked for you!!I found a great recipe for a mustard/garlic spice rub for meat. I found some huge shrimp @ the store, and grilled them with asparagus, and doused both in the rub.... delish!! I was only moderately jealous of my hubby's T-bone. I've had about 100oz of water today... hopefully I'll drop tomorrow!! ![]() |

Morning ladies!
How was everyone's saturday?? We went to the movies and watched the Green Lantern. Its sure hard not to get the popcorn and crap... LORDY! The movie was okay... not bad, not great... anyone else seen it? I got my new set of DVDs for the Billy Blanks PT24/7 has anyone else seen them advertised on TV? I love tae-bo and saw these and had to order them. You hook these bands (look like bungee cords) to your gloves and shoes and they put tension in every kick and punch, etc... Have not tried it yet, just got it, but they look like a good workout!! Something to change up the running!! Okay, well, down 1.8 and ready to go clean the house. Have a great Sunday everyone!

Add raw beef, onion pwder, garlic pwder, S&P, and cocoa powder to sauce pan and cook till it crumbles easily. I added the juice from the tomatos to help start the heat transfer. Stir in tomatoes and let simmer 5 minutes till hot. Serve with grissini stick crumbled on top or take chomping bites with each spoonful (warning grissini get soggy really quickly) ETA: the beef. grissini and Tomatoes add 190.8 cal, the garlic and onion powder(1g carb per 1/4 tsp) add 16cal, and cocoa powder add 2 cal(12.5cal/T). On the spices, I went according to the carb, protein and fat numbers not the reported cal. according to that it's 208.8 cal. |

Well I was going to do a multi-reply but it's too hard on my iPad.
No loss for me today which I figured after my 2-lb loss yesterday. That's just how my body rolls lol. |

Garlic and Mustard Dry Rub
1 tablespoon garlic powder 2 tablespoons ground black pepper 1 tablespoon salt 1 tablespoon mustard powder 1 tablespoon chili powder 1 tablespoon ground cumin 4 tablespoons ground paprika 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano It also calls for 1T of brown sugar, so you could add stevia to it. It makes a big batch-- I put it in an old jelly jar. Quote:

Down .1 this morning. At least it wasn't a gain, I was a bit worried that I might rebound a little from my apple day loss. Today is my LDD...yay! Two more days of VLC and I'm P3.
