Please Post Your July P2 Menus! :o)

And if you feel like it, you can include what spices/cooking methods you used. We all know how boring those P2 menus are! You never know when you might be able to inspire someone to try something new or find a great new idea or two of your own!

What I had yesterday:

Lunch:
P2 Chili
Orange

Dinner:
Chicken breast grilled on indoor grill with sauce
Oven roasted asparagus with sauce
(Sauce made with ACV, lemon juice, mustard, water and NuNaturals stevia)
Fresh strawberries sprinkled with NuNaturals stevia

Water with lemon all day to drink

That chili is by far the best thing I've had on this diet! ACV is apple cider vinegar.

Well, I'm in my 2nd round and I was a rogue to begin with, but R1 was following OWL hcg plan. This time I'm winging it and pretty much making it up as I go. I fell in love with something I created during P3 and so I have been eating a lower fat version of it this P2:

Low Fat cottage cheese, 226 grams
12 grams of walnut (broken into small pieces)
12 grams of unsweetened coconut flakes
6-7 drops of EzSweetz.

(If I want to increase my protein on a particular day, I will eat the above again but in half-portion. Sometimes I mix Benefiber into the cottage cheese.)

I also eat either strawberries w/ EZS or a half of a grapefruit or an apple. I have started to eat an orange once in a while, too. Just one so far, though.

I was eating Smart Pop 100 calorie popcorn last round but this time all I can taste is the salt. So I've been eating either Grissini (break one up in my salad, when I have one,) or I use these hard, dry crackers that come 5 connected together and spread them with 2 T of dietetic jelly/jam.

Diet sodas and water are all I've been drinking. And lately I've added in a frozen sugar-free popsickle or two per day.

I also chew a lot of sugar-free gum.

I take a bunch of vitamins, fiber caps and L-Lysine. Added the L-Lysine after I noticed a recurrence of canker sores while doing the hhcg pellets.

It won't help for me to post my daily P2 menus because I've been having the same thing every day for a long time now.

I have a rogue P2 shake with protein powder added for lunch and a P2 chili every day for dinner.

I'm bumping this up so hopefully some others will start posting their P2 menus!

WOE: one day at a time!! LC!
Start Date: July 14, 2003 - every day!!
Thanks for this thread!! I needed some ideas going back to P2! I too lost better on beef, and thankfully it was on sale! So I plan to keep that in my plan this week.

My menu this week will be:

P2 chili
GB and cabbage - beef broth
Chicken taco soup
burger
chicken lettuce wraps - ground chicken w/ sweetnlow, acv, ginger, onion pwdr and garlic. Add chick broth while cooking if it gets dry. Then wrap in lettuce leaf. Delicious!!
salad - I make my own "honey" mustard dressing to dip it in (mustard, ACV, sweetener, water)
marinated cucumbers in ACV w/ sweetener - some onion and garlic in there work well too.
I may add a low carb protein shake made w/ coc. milk or almond milk on the days I work out if I feel I need it. I'm hoping not to, but we'll see. I don't feel like I work out all that hard, and hope to keep doing 30 min of cardio + some weights 2-3 times a week t/o P2.

Is the P2 chili you guys are talking about, the one that shows up in a link when you click on it- or is this a recipe you are referring to?
Thanks!

WOE: one day at a time!! LC!
Start Date: July 14, 2003 - every day!!
I just made a batch.

300g ground beef - brown and drain
1 can ro-tel tomatoes - or just diced tomatoes if you're concerned about the peppers
seasoning of choice - I use ground chipotle, cayenne, cumin, onion pwd, garlic, salt, and a bit of smoked paprika. I also add some beef broth to make it "wetter". Then divide to 3 portions and enjoy! I just had it for lunch and it's surprisingly filling!!

I also just made ground beef/cabbage. Just to mix it up. Gonna' go make some chicken taco soup now. I prefer beef, and seem to lose better on it, but I want to try to stick closer to protocol this round and see if I mix it up and get that scale moving!

Hello everyone!

I'm not new to Atkins (did that years ago with much success!) but I am new to the HCG diet. I currently take homeopathic HCG and have had great luck thus far! Here are some foods that I love that have worked for me. They do not all follow the strictest application of Dr. Simeons protocol, but are pretty close!

Grilled Pork Lettuce Wraps:
I used thick cut lean pork chops and remove excess fat. I slice up the pork chop and then marinate in lime juice, garlic, salt, pepper and ACV. Then I cook quickly in a saute pan with a touch of Pam spray. Then I make my own pico de gallo (tomato, red onion, jalapeno, cilantro, lime juice) put the pork, and pico in the lettuce. It's SO yummy!

Turkey Meat Ball and Kale Soup
4 oz of lean ground turkey combined with garlic, a little chopped onion, salt, pepper, herbs of choice (I use sage or thyme). Roll out several mini meatballs and then sear in saute pan over medium high eat. Once browned on the outside add chicken broth and kale with whatever other spices you like and then cover and simmer until kale is tender. Turkey is my favorite HCG meat!

Quick Steamed Tilapia
4 oz of Tilapia (or other white fish) placed on parchment paper and topped with squeezed lemon juice and dill and whatever veggie you choose to eat with it (I like asparagus). Wrap tightly in parchment and zap in microwave for about 3 minutes. Quick and easy!

Spicy Shrimp Stirfry
Marinate shrimp in lemon juice, garlic and ginger. Stirfry over medium high heat and then add shredded cabbage and more garlic. Then add in ACV and low sodium soy sauce at the end.

Marinated Strawberries
Marinate cut strawberries in red wine vinegar with pomegranate and then add Stevia to taste. The juice it produces is amazing!

I add liquid smoke to my p2 chili and its very good! It's such an easy meal to prepare, ive started doing other meats with the canned tomatoes too just to change it up. Ive done a shrimp skillet with spicy rotel, and a chicken skillet!

My lunch is usually a cold chicken salad: I cut up cucumber and celery, and then shred an apple. I mix that w/ a dressing of ACV, mustard & stevia. When I'm ready to pack it I take a portion and add in my chicken, sprinkle w/ cinnamon a touch of chili powder and some fresh sea salt. Nice change of pace from lettuce salads!

Dinner is usually chicken, tilapia, or shrimp with a salad or asparagus.

Some days I add some juice from an orange and some orange sections to a chicken & lettuce salad.

I think I need to venture out and do some lettuce wraps...what lettuce to those use for the wraps??

LOVE this:

Warm Strawberry Compote
1 serving fresh sliced strawberries
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Dash of cinnamon Dash of nutmeg Dash of cayenne
Dash of salt
Vanilla or dark chocolate stevia to taste

Preparation:

In a small saucepan, combine ingredients and stir thoroughly. Sauté on medium heat until warm and bubbly and a sauce develops. Serve warm in a bowl. Garnish with mint.

Same here, so I'll just try and find the more exciting ones. I tend to stick to the same things, b/c there isn't much variety that I do like.

I think you use Bibb lettuce leaves for those. Ive been wanting to try some myself.

Today Ive had an apple at breakfast, a rogue slushie for a snack, chili for lunch and will have either a chicken breast or steak with lettuce for dinner. I use rice vinegar as my dressing and I love it!

I made some wraps with napa cabbage leaves, and they did a pretty good job of holding together and not landing on my lap!

I made my filling out of finely minced chicken sauteed with garlic, then added a mixture of soy sauce, a dash of chicken broth, unseasoned rice vinegar, ginger and a drop of SweetzFree (ugh, I can't bear stevia.) I poured the chicken/sauce mixture over some matchstick cut cucumber, and then ate that in napa cabbage leaves. PF Chang's got nothin' on me...

Seriously, though, I'm going to turn into a cabbage. I'm eating it A LOT! It provides a lot of bang for the buck (calorie)--lots of satisfying bulk on your plate, and seems to take on the flavor of whatever seasonings you like to use.

Napa cabbage wilts and gets "small" when added to stir-fries, but good old plain green cabbage stir-fries well with anything and holds up well to heat.

I had chili again today for lunch and dinner was chicken breast and steamed broccoli. I really love the flavor of the chili, but I have a hard time with ground beef- even the 93/7has alot of gristle that I end up picking out. I'm wondering if ground sirloin would be better? Anyway, Jessica Im going to try your cabbabe/chicken recipe. I went and got my cabbage tonight
