Hi Marie and Lilac!

Dangit, nothing exciting to report here. Only down one pound for the whole week. My worst week ever! I missed a veggie serving yesterday for the first time ever so I don't know if that had anything to do with it and I can tell I'm holding a bit of water right now...........blah!

VLCD 57 today and the total loss is 19.5. That makes my daily average today at .35.

I was really hoping to see the 20 pound mark after all of this time. Oh well, as Lisa says, down is down!

I am grateful that I have been able to at least still have a loss at the end of every week. Super, super slow but super, super steady, that would be me!

Edited to add: I definitely do need to improve on my water drinking. I've been slacking in that area lately!

HOLY MOLY I FINALLY REACHED THE 20 POUND MARK TODAY!!!
And it only took me 58 days to get there!

Of course, who knows if it will stick. Sometimes it goes up when I reach a new low but it sure is nice to see it today!!!

I need to make a note that a couple of days ago I switched back to my shea butter liquid body wash and also back to my shaving cream instead of using soap to shave my legs and it hasn't affected my weight. YAY!

Since hitting the 20 pound mark, I've lost a pound and a half more (a half a pound at a time).

This is wonderful but not really what I want to see right now. I am looking to stabilize before heading into P3. I was afraid this was going to happen!

When will be your last dose day? If your losses have picked up would you be better served going a teensy bit longer?

OOPS, edited to say, I see you are going for 60 days already, a long time.

Hi C'Marie! I don't know when my last dose day will be. I'm not sure what to do yet. I've been trying to let the scale dictate that. I've been hoping to stabilize and be at the same weight for maybe 3 days or so before moving onto P3.

Today is day 62.

I was up a half of a pound today after seeing my new low yesterday but that's OK, I'm not going to sweat it! Especially since I will be transitioning into P3 any day now.

My weight the last few days........163.5, 163, 163.5, and today 163.

I'd say that is stabilized good enough for being my LDW which is what I was hoping for, plus I am extremely tired of stressing over it!

So I've decided that today, VLCD64 is my LDW day!

Today was also my weekly weigh-in day and I was down 2 for the week. Not bad at all considering this was weekly weigh-in number 9, I'll take it!

P3 eating on Saturday, HERE I COME!

Hi catikin! Eggs and bacon for breakfast! Zucchini noodles and homemade spaghetti sauce for dinner!

I bought some stuff to make a salad for lunch but I'm not sure if I will need it. I normally only eat 2 meals a day anyway and I don't know if I'll even be hungry enough for 3 meals.

MAKE SURE you eat enough protein - at least 2-3 eggs for brx and double or more the protein you've been eating at lunch and dinner..... not just zucchini noodles and salad, darling.....MEAT in that sauce and MEAT and EGGS on that salad.

Thanks Marie! Unfortunately I didn't eat the salad I was going to have for lunch because I just wasn't hungry! I kind of figured that would happen. But don't worry, my spaghetti sauce has TONS of ground beef in it and I will be sure to eat a lot!

Edited to say: Oh yeah, and I did have a really good breakfast with 3 eggs and 3 pieces of bacon. OMG, it was to die for! :-)

Well, I changed my mind on my dinner last night and you'll never guess what I had for my first P3 dinner.........P2 chili!

Of course this chili was sooooo much better because the ground beef was 85% lean instead of 96% lean, plus it had double the amount of ground beef (7 ounces) and onions added to it.......OMG, it was so, so good!!! I felt like I was cheating!

My menu yesterday for my 1st day of P3 eating:

Breakfast:
3 eggs
3 pieces of bacon
1 T Rice Bran oil
.75 T Cream

Lunch:
Coconut Milk (100 gr)
Frozen Strawberries (79 gr)

Dinner:
85% lean ground beef (7 oz)
Chopped tomatoes (350 gr)
Onion (50 gr)

My calories for the day were 1353 and my BMR is 1734. I could have had more calories but I am working my way up. I also could have done better on my veggie intake too but all in all, not a bad first day I don't think.

Yesterday I weighed 163.5 and this morning I was at 163 which is exactly my LDW so I am very, very happy!

I never would have guessed that I could eat all of those extra calories and wake up a half of a pound less after my first day of P3 eating! Wow, this diet really is truly amazing the way that it works!!!

Keep up the protein, DC - your body needs it replenished. Work on getting them up by increasing the less-lean meats (real food - not deli meat garbage) and a little healthy fat. A big old mixed salad with some chopped up hb eggs, some bacon pieces, a teensy full-fat cottage cheese for dressing, and I'm in heaven on P3.

OMG, P3 is being so nice to me right now, I sure hope this trend continues!

Today is day 3 of P3. I ate more yesterday than I did the day before.

Yesterday I had:

Breakfast:
3 eggs
4 pieces of bacon (had 3 the day before)

Lunch:
Smoothie with strawberries and coconut milk. (Increased the amounts of both).

Dinner:
A HUGE plate of zuchinni noodles and homemade spaghetti sauce with lots of ground beef! OMG, it was so good!

After I ate dinner, though, I felt *really* full and bloated. I started feeling guilty. I was afraid I had eaten too much and I just knew the scale was going to be up today! I was scared to weigh this morning and I was still at 163, my LDW!

Please, please, please P3, keep treating me this kindly!
