Stopping HCG around or during TOM

I should have changed the title of the thread to "ending round around or during TOM"

I am on CD38 of injections. I am planning on extending past 40 days until I reach my goal weight. I am showing no signs of immunity and am ~9lbs from my goal. I am rogue.

I am due to start my period soon, but I don't know exactly when TOM will show up because I forgot to chart my last cycle. I know it's within the next week or two, depending on if HCG interferes. I have read P&I, and I know that Dr. Simeons says not to start HCG until your TOM is finished, but I can't find anything on ending a round during TOM? I have already started bloating and experienced a .5lb gain today because of it, but my bloat normally disappears on the first day of my TOM. If I happen to reach my goal while on my period, what should I do?

I had a disastrous experience ending the hhcg at TOM, though it could have been pure coincidence. I got a never-ending period that was heavy and didn't stop for over 3 weeks.... I finally went back on the drops, and the period ended.

Maybe others can chime in with more info.... I am not sure the hhcg timing was to blame, but it seems possible to me.
