Shelby!! Wow!! I hope that's no fluke!! You'd be at goal w/o a P2?! Yippee!! Hope it sticks!!

I'm way up after a week long indulgence. I knew it would happen, I gained my pre-programmed 10bls!! I always gain the same 10 lbs each time I go crazy . Anyway, did a GYCD today, and did a steak day yesterday. Can't wait to eat some good LC food tomorrow. Hope I don't overdo it. I expect to be up 5lbs still tomorrow, am 7lbs up from where I was when I left for vaca, so I'll try to Lc my way back down again.

I need to get back to the gym too. We're going away again next week mid-July to dh's family in MN. I'm going to stick to LC for that trip and planned to do another P2 round July 18th. We'll see how it goes. I'd love to "pull a Shelby" though !!

Keep plugging away. P4 is fun, but you can get carried away. I am not like "normal" people, but I am confident I can re-lose my way back down !
Julie, love the new AVATAR!! Whooo hoooo hot lady on board!!!

I just did my first "lasering" of offending foods
I did HWC, GY, 2 kinds of cheese (don't know if that made a difference, so I did it), and 2 kinds of nuts-almonds and macadamias....I finally got my laser just before I left for my brother's house. I think I'll take the dang thing with me on vacay along with my scale and some "magic" batteries. Shelby, can you send me some !?

I didn't do an "on protocol" correction today, did 2 hb eggs, then did 2 small meals of some hamburger, tomato sauce, and miracle noodles. But that's it, not even any milk/cream in my coffee this morning. We'll see how tomorrow is.

I know we're not supposed to do CD's back to back, but I have alot of eggs and we're leaving - so hate to go shopping - what do you s'pose would happen if I did an egg day tomorrow (with salad greens - have alot of those too)????

Julie Great to see you again and hoping you can inch back down quickly!

My GY CD of yesterday granted me a loss of... wait for it... wait for it...

0 pounds.

I'm hoping this is just because TOM struck yesterday, and I woke up at 5 am. Both things known to mess with my numbers. I start loading July 3rd and want my numbers to be closer to LDW when I start.

Morning ladies.

Julie - LOVE the new avi. New haircut? It's really flattering! Good luck knocking those pounds off!

Anyway, the 6 pound loss from yesterday (yeah right! knew THAT was too good to be true! ) was due, I'm pretty sure, to a scale malfunction. It was giving me all sorts of "Err" this morning after a brief reading of 144.5. Took the batteries out (again), put them back in, and seemed to get a pretty consistent reading of 151.8 (amidst more "err" and another 144) so that's what I'm going with. 145 was a nice fantasy for a day and at least I know what "goal" looks like on the scale! My flaky GF who borrowed my travel scale was too lazy to bring it over yesterday so now I have to wait til tomorrow to see what's really going on.

Two slightly used (slightly defective but very motivating) batteries for sale. Model C2032...

Talk to you girls later.

wow. Bummer. I can totally imagine what that would be like.

I'd be the same way as when I fit into those awesome jeans. Unable to contain myself, because I was, for the first time, able to contain my a$$ in those jeans!

It's ok - we can do still do this. The first time I am able to exercise, or go for a bike ride, I will be so happy!!! I'm also preparing for a gain - because I tend to put on muscle and see the scale go up, (while the inches go down with good exercise).

So glad you are here Shelby. So glad to have you for a teammate. :-)

Thanks guys!! Great to see you all!! I've been messing w. my haircut this summer and think I've found what I like. So sweet .

Paula-that's such a bummer!! I love the GYCD, but apparently it's not as effective for everyone. Other's do better w/ the egg or steak day, but those don't work as well for me. So, you're doing a new round next week? Are you going to do your weekend/weekday rotation? I'm trying to plan ahead for my next and hopefully final, round. I may do just slightly modified protocol. We'll see. Hope you enjoy your week!

Shelby-bummer . I was enjoying living vicariously through you for that day. I think it'd be great to even see those numbers on the scale though . I'll take those batteries if no one else wants them .

Marie-I'd clear the house of food too. I did back to back CD's and they worked well for me. I had a lot to work with though !

Cat-so good to see you!! Hope you're enjoying your summer.

Red-rock those jeans!! Love it!!

I'm back down 3.4lbs from my GYCD, to 158.8 . I know, I was WAY over, but am almost back to my maintenance weight of 155. I had dreams of seeing LDW again, but that never seems to be what my body wants to do. Sigh. So, that's why I'm doing a final round to get lower and allow my body the wiggle room it seems to enjoy.

Hope you have a great week all!!

In my window again, finally!
I could only get low fat yogurt so, so I added HWC and stevia to it. I didn't have any berries thawed so I just had the yogurt mix and a bowl of legal cole slaw yesterday. I didn't record yesterday's weight but I know I lost close to to 2 pounds! Buh-bye Ben & Jerry's and homemade bread!

CDers hang in there!

Congrats to the losers and maintainers!

Speaking of back to back CDs, I think I'll do chicken thighs not so much for the sake of a CD, they just sound so good!

Later!

Sitting at home still in my PJs - I love time off work! And this time I get two whole weeks

I'm a little nervous about being at home and then on an actual vacation though (1st one in 5 years) because I tend to eat a LOT worse when I'm home all day. And who doesn't have trouble on vacation?! Sitting 1 pound above LDW but I would really like to get it down below before vacay. I would really enjoy not re-losing 10 pounds when we start R2 after we get back!

My egg, beef, tomato and miracle noodle day netted me a loss of only 0.8 on the scale, but down is down! I'm now down to where I would "normally" do a steak day! LOL - I have lots of eggs, so I'm doing an egg day with salad greens. And TONS of water. I am so thirsty but yet retaining water! Weird!

And yes, I'd like to know also how you do a chicken thigh day. I thought it was a whole chicken, eat the thighs first.... I usually get drumsticks. Would they work as well? On vacay, going two weeks in a condo, so I can cook what I want, although we will be going out to eat about 6 times or so that I know of for sure in 2 weeks. So I will be ultra careful but I still intend to have "fun" so I probably will do Up days and Down days with calories to try to keep it in line.

I usually do injections, but strongly considering ordering pellets from netrition in order to load my last day of vacay and start a short R6 right when I get back. I don't want to be talking to TSA about my injections LOL. I was going to wait until fall - but I'm thinking I could squeeze that one in - before my anniversary??

I love my chicken thigh correction day. I cook up a whole package which is usually 8 thighs and eat as many as I feel like. It usually breaks out to be about 6, 1 for breakfast, 2 for lunch, 1 afternoon snack, and 2 for dinner. I think drumsticks would work fine--I just prefer thighs because to me they have more meat in proportion to the bones. I like the thighs just liberally coated with s&p (both sides) and baked at 375 for about 40-45 minutes. I also sometimes bake bacon then just cook the chicken thighs on the pan with the bacon grease. YUM!

Well, my Serenade To Bernice (in last week's thread) was only slightly successful -- she's still playing hard to get. So, this week I shall try to entice her with some poetry instead . . . maybe she'll respond to some Haiku.

Oh, you sweet Bernice,
You have been gone for so long,
My intestines burst.

How's that? Maybe another.

I miss you so much,
My toilet bowl is molding,
I must use it soon.

OK, let's see if this gets her attention!

I love them like this but I add butter and Frank's Red Hot sauce. Actually, I add butter and Frank's to the majority of the meat I eat!

MiraLax/ClearLax (generic) in Chocolate Smooth Move tea. Took a few days to start working, then I stopped the tea. I've been taking the ClearLax ever since. Sometimes I think it may be responsible for my holding onto a few ounces of water here and there on the scale but the alternative is unthinkable! For now, I will take the ClearLax.

Just checking in before going to bed.... I had 4 hb eggs with mayo and a bunch of lettuce for lunch, and then 4 eggs with a bunch of mushrooms and some spinach for dinner. SCALE BETTER BE DOWN TOMORROW ..... yes, I'm SHOUTING!

Was thinking about lasering some more stuff before bed.... maybe SF chemical crap, rice, and wheat so I can eat a little on vacay

Good morning every buddy!

My steak day, (albeit drenched in salt...), lent me a 1.8 loss. WOW. Okay, I'm impressed. My weight is now where it was before my house filled with company last Thursday. Beer and pizza damage gone. I get why it's important not to let time go by.

The unexpected thing was the severe attack of the munchies AFTER I ate! What was UP with that?

PFR:LOVE the poetry!!

Yesterday I had my first energetic day in a month. I went to town cleaning and organizing my house. 5 and a half hours. By 7 pm, half the joints in my body were in pain, and by 8pm I was 3 pain pills down and moaning in pain. Oops. I guess I need to be more careful with my newly-well body. Feels AMAZING to have a perfectly clean house though!! Hubby kept laughing at me because I told him, (while writhing in pain), that I was so happy and my house was so cool now that it was clean. Hahahaha. So nuts. Feel fine this morning. Moderation Red!!! Learn it!!

Looking at my calendar, August 4th looks like the next time I can do a round and take off last ten pounds. Until then - so glad to be in this fine group !

Has anyone adjusted a window down? My ldw was 145 but ever since last tom ended I've been holding within a window of 141.8 - 143.8 I like this and figure if I can make it stick, then I'm 3 lbs or so closer to goal. Btw I'm P4

I know this is weird - but I have 2 set points. TOM and non-TOM. I should be around 148 daily - give or take a pound. 3 days before TOM until end of period, my set point is 151.
