Had mcdonald's nuggets (4pc), apple slices and about 15 fries. since I'm down 1lb, so I guess it didn't hurt me, but really none of my weights for the next 2 weeks will mean much as my hormones go crazy.

OMG girl! Get you IMMEDIATELY to a grocery store and buy some! You've NEVER had whipping cream? Seriously??? It IS one of the great joys in life! If you've been having half and half in coffee, try this instead. Eat it over berries. Put it in a protein shake. They make ice cream out of it so it's gotta be good!

"What's on the schedule this afternoon? An autopsy? Great! Order me a big steak!" "I'm having a lobotomy? Ok - How about a dozen donuts to go with that!"

It is good to keep ones senses, keep things in perspective, and when times are bad, that's when you find out who your real friends are, because they come running. I keep getting sicker, and the crucial thing now is to find the right medicine, and set things up so I can enjoy my sons visit this weekend.

(Wow, I just realized that last paragraph was totally me giving myself a pep talk - sorry)

Too sick to weigh in - but today I will eat mindfully. Getting really tired of eggs or protein shakes for breakfast. Going to get some cottage cheese and yogurt. I'm confused because the greek yogurt at the store has 9 grams of sugar per serving! What's up with that? That's why I didn't buy it before. How is that okay? I don't want to be 'fat-maleria-girl'! LOL

I should get some more jeans in the mail today or tomorrow!! I told you that I found the jeans that I have that fit me, and ordered smaller sizes. I'm not expecting to burst into another spontaneous drama queen sequence, BUT, I have to tell you this! Because I'm spending money as if I had it - and I still have another round to go, I ordered a 6 and an 8 of two pairs of bermuda shorts. I KNOW the 6's won't fit, but this brand is the kind that mis-labels and calls the 12's a 10 and so on. So, even if I ever DO fit into the 6 - it'll really be an 8. Mind games.

So, what do you love about P3?
Red, you seriously crack me up! And talk about attitude! If this is how you are when you're sick, I REALLY want to party with YOU when you get better! (I'm German and Hungarian but I've been known to hang with the Irish pretty successfully!) In the meantime, feel better and enjoy your vist with your son.

The "sugar" in GY is naturally occurring milk sugars, so it's ok as long as it's plain and doesn't have ADDED sugar.

Awesome on the jeans (again). I can totally relate to the whole size 9 thing because I got into a pair of size nine jeans that I've had in my closet for at least 7 years. If they are vanity sized, at least they are 2004 vanity sized! I bought them when I was close to this weight before on one of those "If I just lose 10 more pounds I'll be able to wear these and they're only $10" wild hairs. Never been able to...until I put them on last weekend and they fit perfectly. No muffin top, just showing off my assets! And get this...THEY'RE WHITE! Me! In white pants! Never thought I'd see the day!

Oh and what DON'T I love about P3?

I'll be lugging a giant container to work today. I really want to get solidly in my range....this is day 19 of P3.

I'll need extra strength tonight. DH & I are frosty right now...always triggers my nighttime nibbling urges.
Paula - for you to help get you through the chill. It will work out.

On this front, I am down again today into the 151's, same weight as two days ago. AND more importantly I had an epiphany yesterday. I've been having intermittent (whatever you call the opposite of) Bernice, usually daily around 1-2pm. I could not figure out what was causing it unless I suddenly became allergic to lettuce. Well, I realized that I had upped my iron to get over a little anemic/hypo incident that I had a few weeks ago and at the same time INCREASED my Vitamin C. I have been taking 3000-4000mg daily, concentrated between about 4am and about 9am. Did not even THINK about the consequences of that! And when I get dehydrated, I RETAIN water weight. Hello lightbulb! Anyway, cutting back to about 1500-2000 today and I will bet money that I won't have yesterday's issues! I love it when I figure stuff out!

Off to put in my time on the treadclimber. At least I have some new music this morning--we'll see how the new Seether cd is...

I have run on fingers today - I think typing this is my therapy today. Thanks ya'll - for listening while I'm on the therapist couch.

WE CAN DO THIS!!

So, what do you love about P3?
Hope you feel better soon. I think my most favorite thing about P3 is breakfast but almonds would run a close second.

Well I tried the Atkins nutty fudge brownie yesterday and I was up .6 this morning. I'm still in my window and lower than I was all last week so I'm not freaking out yet. I think I will wait a couple of days before I try something else new.

Looks like everybody is doing well. I am staying at my LDW ( I don't know how it is happening ) but I am grateful.
I'm not calculating my exact calories, but if I run into problems I will.
Let me tell you about my PF Changs experience. B Day dinner for a friend, trying not to be obvious about being picky what I eat. Ordered a big girl drink - vodka, soda, had my list of researched foods, ordered from it, whispered to waiter to put sauce on the side. All is good, dinners come and mine is a plate of breaded, fried shrimp, sauce on the side. I'm like no way, my hubby stops waiter says she can't eat that, I'm saying this isn't what is says on the menu, waiter is great says I'll get you some plain shrimp, comes back with this fantastic looking plate of naked shrimp. He says next time you come, just tell me exactly how you want it and we'll have the kitchen cook it for you. Kudos to PF Changs.
I am so happy to have mixed vegetables, large salads, beef and a drink, I have resisted all other temptations. Please let that continue.

Hi girls,

I'm going on to Phase 3. I just decided this moring. It's R1P2VLCD24 for me!
I could go longer, but, I really don't want to. I am looking forward to more variety. Saturday will be my first day on Phase 3 and I can't wait to have some bleu cheese dressing on a big salad, lol. I will do Phase 3, then Phase 4, then back to 2 to lose the rest of my weight.

Paula, I'm curious, do you ever eat more than 32 oz. of yogurt on a CD? I love the stuff. Does 32 oz. keep you full all day? Thanks!

I can only tell you my experience. One night on P2 I had a couple of glasses of scotch. It stalled me for a couple of days I think - but my losses seemed to go in segments anyway. I didn't eat, though, so can't address that.

I mostly pour it on stevia sweetened strawberries or add it to frozen strawberries in my Ninja to make ice cream or smoothies, I also splash it on yogurt w/ strawberries... I detect a theme here.
However, if necessary, I would drink it, too.
After I fry meat, I pour some in to the drippings, simmer till thickened, add mushrooms, etc. and call it gravy!

I pour it in my Iced coffee and I use an Isi whipped cream dispenser and use the whipped cream on whatever I want to use it on and sometimes straight from the dispenser! I also make home made ice cream with it as well.

I love to make ice cream with HWC, strawberries, and a little Stevia. I use it in my coffee, pour it over berries. Never tried the gravy but I might just have to do that soon too. And every now and then I actually whip it too Add a little vanilla stevia and whip until it's thick. Any way you decide to do it, do yourself a favor and TRY IT !

I don't know how but I am actually down another 1.5 today. I haven't been below LDW since week 1 of P3!! Enjoying it while it lasts 'cause I'm sure it won't be long.

I have gone up to 48 ounces when I need to. Mine is not actually full cream/milk greek yogurt but homemade yogurt from full fat milk. I can't afford to make it with buckets of cream. But I do prefer homemade anyways.

I couldn't make it thru the day today...had some 'snacks' - I walked about 10 miles today and got pretty tired. Still hoping for a good loss, but we'll see.

Gotta finish work and then go soak my feet!
