Well, am still up a lb in spite of clean eating, lots of water and ACV. Then I realized that TOM approaches in less than 2 weeks.
Last month I gained a lb or two at this point and then closer to tom I gained 3 or 4 more then as soon as it was over, I dropped it all and then some. Here's to hoping that the pattern stays true![]() |

MiamiLoca & NeekoM Hope your CDs gave you a good loss!
Mine gave me a great loss... 3.4 pounds. Haven't seen that big a drop since January! Hoping I won't bounce too much tomorrow. All the good wishes yesterday really helped me stay strong last night when the family was chowing down on chili and crackers. Red All I know about Lyme is that recovery can be slow. I would hope your doc might help if the meds aren't helping you yet. Stay strong, and take it easy, baby steps. So excited you will see your family soon!

She doesn't post much since she is at goal but she hangs out in the HCG exercisers thread and the "Beyond HCG" thread if you are looking for a link to her profile. Good luck! As someone who has dealt with a variety of endocrine issues (and all the symptoms, including anxiety), I know how rough this can be. Take care of you, ok? |

All right, enough silliness this morning. I've been playing around in the Monty Python thread...
![]() Up another half pound today despite a day of absolutely clean eating and being a little under calorie yesterday so I think for me this is normal fluctuation. It sure was nice to see the 151 number for a couple of days in a row though! I'll take 152 though and like it! It may be time to try and wean a little more of my adrenal meds at this point...but I digress...Off to get sweaty and gear up for the day. Have a great one peeps. |

First time I've seen LDW in awhile, I was pretty stable 1/2 pound above until I screwed it up last weekend. The test will be if I can keep down here once the weekend comes around again. |

You dont need the CD until you are over your 2 lb window.. The HWC gets some people, but I agree with Peggy, maybe post your menus? It could be just normal weight fluctuations too. Are you eating enough calories? Thats another common cause, too many or too little calories! |

This one goes out to Zbunny -- just a little hit from her favorite band, Air Supply . . .
I'm all out of love, I'm so lost without you, I know you were right believing for so long, I'm all out of love, what am I without you, I can't be too late to say that I was soo wroooooonnnngggg . . . . (C'mon Red, sing with me!) OK, glad I got THAT out of my system! Today I bounced right back down into my window -- 185, so one pound above LDW. Woohoo! What's nice is how, if you've done Atkins a lot over the years, how easy it is to go back to that way of eating. I bought a huge pack of boneless chicken thighs, and another one of rib-eye steaks, and was marinating everything yesterday -- my husband looked at it and said, "Oh yeah, this looks familiar!" Have a great day, everybody! |

I have been searching and can't find it, I re-rad P&I and it is not specific. I am planning on driving very fast to publix friday for ezekiel bread.

I think I've been over-doing it on the HWC and butter. I didn't gain overnight last night and that made me feel better. I'm still 156.6 lbs. Today I've had eggs for breakfast. I'm going to have steak in a little while, maybe some salad with olive oil (can I have balsamic vinegar?) I'll try to stay away from the HWC and see what happens. Thanks! |

I think it's too much HWC.
3 eggs for breakfast. Tea w/HWC. Cheese stick. Cooked chicken thigh or 1/2 a steak. Cup of HWC. (YES, a whole cup.) I think I was compensating for not eating that much by drinking a bunch of HWC. I'm going to cut the HWC (I missed it so much during P2, I think I just needed to make up for lost time. I'm over it now. ) |

I'm still holding today at 145.6. Woohoo!
I really need to start P4 now but I'm scared to add starch and sugar in the mix when up until recently my weight has been all over the place. ![]() I have some ezekiel bread in the freezer so I'll try that some time this week. I wanted to try some LC oatmeal and granola from Netrition but I never placed my order so I don't have any on hand right now. I do have some Atkins bars so maybe I'll try those. I've only been in my window for a little over a week out of the last six weeks so I don't want to try anything too radical this P4.

Well day two of P3 and got a zero change on the scale this morning. I just created the most amazing supper. PIZZA!!! I used zuccini slice long ways for the crust and piles on the veggies, cheese, organic pizza sauce and sausage. OH MY!!! I am in heaven!!!

Got new diagnosis - and it's supposed to include a lack of appetite. HA. NEVER!!! Not this girl! I can eat my way through hail, snow, tornado, labor and delivery, come what may, just don't forget the spoon!!!
Got my wonderful new jeans, and feel too sick to put 'um on today. But tomorrow....as Scarlet says...is another day. (She was very deep...) |

Is there such a thing as too much HWC? Not in my world...
![]() Seriously, I have it on berries, in my coffee and take shots right out of my charger. Perhaps you might want to laser it.....just a thought....I went a bit off the rails this weekend....unless of course chinese food, choco chip cookies and my fave guys Ben and Jerry are good P4 choices. ![]() ![]() No worries...except that I am as puffy as the Pilsbury Dough Boy, but I got back on plan on Monday and the water weight is pouring out of me...literally! ![]() I guess the lesson is not to throw in the towel, but get back up...dust yourself off and get back on plan ASAP! |

Can I just revel for a moment in the luxury of P3 food after 40 days of P2?
Breakfast: Greek yogurt with vanilla stevia, a few strawberries Lunch: Homemade chicken salad with cilantro, red onion, and pickled jalapeno (YUM!) Snack: Romaine lettuce hearts dipped in creamy Caesar dressing Dinner: Bobby Flay's Grilled Ribeye Salad (ribeye marinated in a tomato-horseradish sauce, grilled, chopped over baby spinach with grilled vidalia onions, sun-dried tomatoes, blue cheese, and roasted poblano pepper dressing -- one of the Seven Wonders Of The World) Happy sigh. |

Good morning folks - It's another day! Hubby came home - so that's good, and tomorrow night my son and his fiance come to visit! Eating thing - I still find it funny that with my diagnosis, (they say what I have is like malaria, and that's EXACTLY how I feel!), I have a hearty appetite 24/7. Just like always. Typical Red. "What's on the schedule this afternoon? An autopsy? Great! Order me a big steak!" "I'm having a lobotomy? Ok - How about a dozen donuts to go with that!" It is good to keep ones senses, keep things in perspective, and when times are bad, that's when you find out who your real friends are, because they come running. I keep getting sicker, and the crucial thing now is to find the right medicine, and set things up so I can enjoy my sons visit this weekend. (Wow, I just realized that last paragraph was totally me giving myself a pep talk - sorry) Too sick to weigh in - but today I will eat mindfully. Getting really tired of eggs or protein shakes for breakfast. Going to get some cottage cheese and yogurt. I'm confused because the greek yogurt at the store has 9 grams of sugar per serving! What's up with that? That's why I didn't buy it before. How is that okay? I don't want to be 'fat-maleria-girl'! LOL I should get some more jeans in the mail today or tomorrow!! I told you that I found the jeans that I have that fit me, and ordered smaller sizes. I'm not expecting to burst into another spontaneous drama queen sequence, BUT, I have to tell you this! Because I'm spending money as if I had it - and I still have another round to go, I ordered a 6 and an 8 of two pairs of bermuda shorts. I KNOW the 6's won't fit, but this brand is the kind that mis-labels and calls the 12's a 10 and so on. So, even if I ever DO fit into the 6 - it'll really be an 8. Mind games. I have run on fingers today - I think typing this is my therapy today. Thanks ya'll - for listening while I'm on the therapist couch. WE CAN DO THIS!! So, what do you love about P3? |

Mayo and butter lately are my fave's.
I ate to BMR yesterday...and am disappointed I bounced up 1.8 pounds of my 3.4 loss from GY Monday. I should add that DS woke me up 3 times last night...no more sleepovers when I have to work the next day. So I'm out of window today - .4 over. Good thing I made another 1/2 gallon of yogurt. I'll be lugging a giant container to work today. I really want to get solidly in my range....this is day 19 of P3. I'll need extra strength tonight. DH & I are frosty right now...always triggers my nighttime nibbling urges. ![]() |
